Eine zumindest näherungsweise vertikale Ausrichtung schließt auch eine leichte Krümmung oder einen kleinen Winkel mit ein. Unter einer üblichen Einbauposition wird jene verstanden, bei welcher die Hauptachse der Verglasung vertikal verläuft. Der einfacheren Formulierung des Patentes halber, beizieht sich die Beschreibung auf diesen Einbaufall. Der Schutz umfasst auch baugleiche, jedoch zum Beispiel als Dachfenster schräg eingebaute Fenster. Erfindungsgemäß verfügt das inneren Vorsatzmetallprofil über einen Haken, welcher in der Einbauposition zusammen mit einem Mittel des Kunststoffgrundprofil eine Rastfunktion bildet. Dieser Haken besitzt auf der dem Mittel des Kunststoffgrundprofils abgewandten Seite eine zumindest annähernd senkrecht zur vertikal ausgerichteten Außenfläche ausgerichtete Hakenoberfläche. Im verrasteten Zustand befindet sich zwischen dem inneren Vorsatzmetallprofil und dem Kunststoffgrundprofil auf der dem Mittel des Kunststoffgrundprofils abgewandten Seite des Hakens ein Spalt.
