Penture pour une porte ou pour une fenêtre selon l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisée en ce que le deuxième élément de montage (5) présente un profil sensiblement en L, une première branche (21) étant pourvue de trous (22) destinés à loger des vis de fixation permettant de la fixer sur le vantail de la porte ou de la fenêtre ainsi qu'éventuellement de saillies de transmission des charges (23) s'étendant dans la direction des vis de fixation, et la deuxième branche (24) étant pourvue de nervures de guidage (25) qui s'étendent selon une direction normale à la première branche (21) et qui, à l'état monté, sont guidé dans les rainures de guidage (26) correspondantes lesquelles équipent la partie de vantail (6), et la partie de vantail (6) pouvant en outre être fixée dans sa position sur le deuxième élément de montage (5) au moyen de vis de serrage (27).
  8. Penture pour une porte ou une fenêtre selon la revendication 7, caractérisée en ce que les bords des nervures de guidage (25) sont chanfreinés et que les vis de serrage (27) peuvent être disposées dans des percées (28) correspondantes au sein des nervures de guidage (25).
  9. Penture pour une porte ou une fenêtre selon les revendications 7 ou 8, caractérisée en ce que la distance entre le deuxième élément de montage (5) et la partie de vantail (6) peut être réglée à travers une vis de réglage latéral (29), la tête de la vis de réglage (29) étant guidée dans un logement (30) correspondant au sein de la partie de vantail (6), et un trou taraudé (31) étant disposé, parallèlement aux nervures de guidage (25), dans le deuxième élément de montage (5).
