Description

BEEHIVE AND SERVIING DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING OF BEE PRODUCTS
Field of invention
[0001] The invention relates to a construction and servicing device therefor which find implementation in the manufacturing of bee products.
Background
[0002] A beehive is known intended for the manufacturing of bee products consisting of one or more chambers used simultaneously for the manufacturing of bee products and for the reproduction of the bee family. Each chamber is a chamber made of fixedly joined walls on the walls being formed seats [sockets) for placement of frames having a wax base. If the chambers are more than one they are positioned above each other, on the uppermost one a cover being mounted, and on the lowest one a bottom being mounted.
[0003] A beehive is known which consists of one or more chambers for the reproduction of the bee family [store house), each chamber being a chamber made of rigidly joined walls and bottom, and on the walls are arranged seats wherein frames with a wax base are placed. The work chamber [store room) is a chamber having rigidly joined walls and cover, on the cover being mounted laths for an ecological manufacturing of the so called "wildtype" honey. The store house and the work chamber are divided during the manufacturing of the bee products by a Hahnemann lattice.
[0004] A drawback of the known beehives is the accumulation of resin on the frames which makes the inspection and servicing of the bee family very laborious, and the bees are subjected to a considerable stress.
[0005] An object of the invention is to provide a beehive and servicing device
; which make easier the work related to the collecting of the honey, the inspection and servicing of the bee family and to lower the stress of the bees during these processes.
Technical essence of the invention
[0006] According to the invention the system consists of a beehive and a servicing device.
[0007] The beehive comprises one or more chambers for the reproduction of the bees [store houses) and one or more work chambers (store rooms). The store house consists of a framework on which are mounted fixed walls and one or more movable elastic walls, on the movable wall being immovably fixed frames having a wax base, and at the bottom part of the framework is placed a bottom. Both at the top and bottom parts of the movable wall are placed reinforcing plates, and on the plates are arranged threaded openings into which are screwed disengaging screws. On the framework opposite to the opening for the disengaging plates are mounted reinforcing plates. On the movable wall is arranged an opening for the movement of the bees, and along its longitudinal direction are mounted one or more cords with grips provided at the ends thereof.
[0008] The store room consists of a framework on which are mounted fixed walls and at its upper end is placed a cover. At the bottom part of the cover are mounted laths serving as a base for the manufacturing of "wildtype" honey.
[0009] The store room is placed on the store house, and between them is provided a Hahnemann lattice which does not allow that the queen mother bee passes into the store room.
[0010] For the servicing of the beehive is provided a device consisting of a base with wheels on which is mounted a rack (stand) on which is arranged a fixing element. On the fixing element is arranged an opening into which are placed pulling elements. The pulling element consists of a gripping part, a body and a pin. The front part of the fixing element is arranged as a bending element. [0011] A part of the servicing device is a collecting vessel which is an elastic bag put on a frame having a fixing body and in its front part the frame is shaped as a knife for slicing through the "wildtype" honeycombs.
Description of the accompanying figures
[0012] On the accompanying figures are shown a view from the side and from above of the beehive (Fig. 1), a front view with a partial section, a view from the front and above of the servicing device (Fig. 2), a general view of the pulling element (Fig. 3), a view from the side and above of the collecting vessel (Fig. 4].
Exemplary embodiments
[0013] According to the invention the beehive consists of a store house 1 on which is located a store room 2 and therebetween is mounted a Hahnemann lattice 17. [0014] The store house 1 is a framework 3 on which are mounted fixed walls 4; on the front part is mounted a movable elastic wall 5 and on the elastic wall 5 are mounted frames having a wax base 6. At the bottom part of the store house 1 is mounted a bottom 7. At the upper and lower part of the elastic wall 5 and between the latter and the frames with wax honeycombs is arranged a reinforcing plate 8, at the angles of the elastic wall 5 being provided threaded openings 9, and into the openings 9 are placed disengaging screws 10. On the framework 3 opposite to the opening 9 is mounted a reinforcing plate 11. Along the elastic movable wall is arranged an opening (beehive entrance/exit] 13.
[0015] The store room 2 is a framework 3 on which are mounted fixed walls 4. At the top part of the store room is mounted a cover 15, and at the bottom part of the cover 15 are mounted laths 16.
[0016] The servicing device consists of a base 18 having wheels 19, on the base 18 being mounted stands 25. On the stands 25 is mounted a fixing element 20 within which is arranged an opening 23, and the front part of the fixing element 20 is shaped as a bending element 21. The body 26 of a pulling element 22 is arranged to enter into the opening 23, and at the back part of the body 26 is arranged a fixing pin 24.
[0017] The collecting vessel 31 consists of a frame 28 having a body 29, at the back part of the body being put a fixing pin 24. On the frame 28 is mounted an elastic bag 27, and the front part of the frame 28 is shaped as a cutting (slicing) edge (knife) 20.
[0018] The invention described above is used as follows:
In the course of extracting the honey the collecting vessel is placed under the honeycombs containing "wildtype" honey and thereafter it is elevated up-to the level of the laths 16. The body 29 is put into the opening 23 and is fixed by the pin 24. The servicing device is pulled out and in the course of its movement the knife slices (cuts) the natural honeycombs and they are collected into the bag 27.
[0019] In case it is necessary to inspect the bee family by means of the screws 10 and the reinforcing plate 8 the movable wall 5 together with the frames 6 is separated from the framework 3 disrupting the sections of accumulated resin. The pulling element 22 is put behind the reinforcing plate 8 and thereafter the body 26 of the pulling element is put into the opening 23 and is fixed by the pin 24. The movable wall 5 is pulled out and is bent onto the bending element 21 by means of the cord 12 which opens the frames 6 and allows the bee family to be inspected and photographed while it is put to a minimum stress. The bent wall 5 is fixed in this situation by means of the grips 14.
Use of the invention
[0020] The use of the beehive and the servicing device facilitates the processes of collecting the bee products while the inspections and care for the bee families are carried out at a minimum of stress to the bees.
