Das lichtdurchlässige Element kann dabei einen insbesondere kreisrunden Durchmesser von nicht mehr als 10 mm, bevorzugt nicht mehr als 5 mm, aufweisen. - Sanitary fitting comprising- a fitting body (1) having a water outlet.- a valve unit (2) arranged in the fitting body (1), wherein the valve unit (2) comprises an operating attachment (3),- an operating handle (4) applied on the operating attachment (3),- a cover cap (5) at least partially covering the valve unit (2) and- at least one light source (6)wherein

- Sanitary fitting according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the operating handle (4) covers an opening (12) in the cover cap (5).
