Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a head part for a cartridge which is intended to cooperate with a squeezing device, the head part having a first receiving area for interacting with a first container and a second receiving area for interacting with a second container, according to the preamble of patent claim 1 more specifically defined type. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a cartridge with such a head part.
  • Cartridges are known from practice that are designed to work together with squeezing devices. Such cartridges have, for example, two chambers in which different materials are stored.
  • a two-component mortar compound can be located in the chambers, with a hardenable resin component being arranged in one chamber and a hardener component being arranged in a further chamber which is arranged separately from it in a reaction-inhibiting manner.
  • Cartridges with such two-component mortar compounds are used, for example, as injection mortar for the chemical anchoring of, for example, metal elements in mineral substrates, such as in particular buildings made of brick, concrete or natural stone.
  • the drill holes required for fastening the anchoring means are drilled into the mineral substrate, after which the hardenable resin component is mixed with the hardener component of the two-component mortar compound and introduced into the drill hole, whereupon the anchoring means to be fastened is introduced and adjusted, after which the Mortar hardens.
  • Known cartridges have a head part on which the two chambers are each arranged in a receiving area.
  • the head part has two channels, one channel being connected to the first chamber and a second channel being connected to the second chamber.
  • the channels are separated from each other in the area of the headboard.
  • the head part has a connection area to a mixer which can be connected to the head part.
  • the mixer has a structure for mixing the masses and an outlet opening for dispensing the mixed mass.
  • a dispensing device for several flowable material components is from DE 3420323 A1 known.
  • a head part for a cartridge which is intended to cooperate with a squeezing device, is proposed, wherein the head part has a first receiving area for interacting with a first container and a second receiving area for interacting with a second container, the first receiving area having a first Channel and the second receiving area are connected to a second channel that is at least partially separated from the first channel, with a control device for controlling a volume flow of a mass guided through the corresponding channel being arranged in at least one channel.
  • the control device has a spring device.
  • control device in particular an entire volume flow or mass flow supplied to the corresponding channel via the receiving area can be controlled in a structurally simple manner.
  • a desired mixing ratio of the masses located in the two containers or chambers in an area fed to a mixer can be easily ensured in all operating states and the occurrence of mixing problems and/or incomplete curing can thus be reliably prevented.
  • a control device for controlling the amount of a mass, in particular a mass flow or a volume flow, guided through the corresponding channel is provided in both channels, the mass flows or volume flows of the individual masses guided through the channels can be coordinated particularly precisely with one another, so that for example, a desired hardening is reliably achieved.
  • control device is designed to prevent the mass from flowing back into the first container or the second container. This can easily prevent the mass stored in one container from transferring into the other container, although in conventional designs this transfer can occur because one mass, when the head part is installed, is transferred via the mixer to that of the other container assigned channel.
  • the solution according to the invention is particularly advantageous when using chemical systems in which a chemical reaction of the components or materials used continues after an impact even without the further presence of the other component.
  • control device can be designed, for example, as a flap, which can be moved in particular between a first state that completely closes the flow cross section of the channel and a second state that partially, in particular almost completely, releases the flow cross section of the channel.
  • a spring device is provided which applies a force to the flap in the direction of the first state.
  • the spring device is designed in such a way that it releases a volume flow through the corresponding channel when a defined force acts against the spring force of the spring device.
  • the spring device is in particular designed in such a way that it only releases a volume flow through the channel when a defined minimum pressure is applied to the control device upstream of the control device and releases the channel against the defined spring force of the spring device. In this way, an undesirable and/or uncontrolled flow of a mass or component out of the respective container can be prevented in a simple manner.
  • a more favorable folding of the foil can be achieved in this way, since the minimum pressure that can be set via the control device can ensure that the foil lies securely against a wall of the squeezing device.
  • control device can be designed as a check device, in particular as a check valve. This makes it easy to ensure that a mass from a container is only guided through the corresponding channel via the corresponding receiving area if it exceeds a defined minimum pressure.
  • the first channel and/or the second channel preferably have a substantially circular cross section. This makes it possible to arrange a control device in the respective channel in a simple manner.
  • the channels can have a diameter that differs from one another. Furthermore, the channels can be arranged coaxially to one another at least in some areas.
  • the channel having the control device downstream of the control device is separated from the other channel and the corresponding receiving area, so that the channel having the control device downstream of the control device is in operative connection in particular exclusively with the receiving area assigned to this channel and is separated from the other channel and the recording area assigned to this channel.
  • the first channel and the second channel are separated from one another throughout the head part, with the first channel being connected only to the first receiving area and the second channel only being connected to the second receiving area. Contact between the masses in the two containers is therefore excluded in the area of the head part.
  • a cartridge for a squeezing device with a head part described in more detail above and at least a first container and a second container is also proposed, the first container having a first chamber for holding a first mass and the second container having a second chamber for holding a second mass .
  • Both the head part and a mixer that can be brought into operative connection with the head part in a conventional manner are preferably formed with a material to which the masses intended for use do not adhere.
  • the head part and/or the mixer can be designed with a coating that fulfills this purpose.
  • the head part can have a thread, via which commercially available attachments or squeezing devices for applying the mass in the cartridge are attached to the head part exactly in the area of outlet openings of the channels can be adjusted so that precise positioning and dosing of the mass is possible during application.
  • Fig. 1 shows a cartridge 1 with a head part 2, to which two containers 3, 4 are connected.
  • the cartridge 1 is designed to work together with a pressing device, by means of which the masses in the containers 3, 4 can be pressed out manually or automatically to the desired extent.
  • the cartridge 1 contains, for example, a two-component mortar compound, wherein a curable resin component can be arranged in one container 3 of the cartridge 1 and a hardener component can be arranged in the other container 4, which is arranged separately from it in a reaction-inhibiting manner.
  • the mass resulting from mixing the curable resin component and the hardener component is used, for example, as an injection mortar for the chemical anchoring of, for example, metal elements in mineral substrates, such as in particular buildings made of brick, concrete or natural stone.
  • the drill holes required for fastening the anchoring means are drilled into the mineral substrate, after which the hardenable resin component is mixed with the hardener component of the two-component mortar compound and introduced into the drill hole, whereupon the anchoring means to be fastened is introduced and adjusted and the mortar compound then hardens.
  • the masses are each arranged in chambers of the containers 3, 4, the containers 3, 4 in the present case each having a substantially cylindrical base body 6 or 7 with a first end wall 8 or 9 and an opposite second end wall 10 or 11.
  • the first end wall 8 or 9 has a dispensing opening or an area provided for releasing the mass located in the respective container 3 or 4.
  • the containers 3, 4 are designed as containers 3, 4 formed at least partially, in particular almost completely, with films; in an alternative embodiment, they can also be designed as so-called hard cartridges or the like.
  • the head part 2 has a first receiving area 13 and a second receiving area 14 at a distance from one another, the first receiving area 13 being provided for connecting the first container 3 to the head part 2 and the second receiving area 14 being provided for connecting the second container 4 to the head part 2 .
  • the receiving areas 13 and 14 are arranged without a direct connection to one another.
  • one container of the cartridge is arranged within the other container of the cartridge.
  • the cartridge is here can be fastened together to the head part with both containers, the head part in turn having a first receiving area assigned to the first container and a second receiving area assigned to the second container.
  • One receiving area is encompassed by the other receiving area, the receiving areas being separated from one another in such a way that the respective receiving area is exclusively in contact with the associated container and thus the mass stored in the respective container.
  • a channel 15 or 16 is assigned to both the first recording area 13 and the second recording area 14, the first channel 15 being connected to the first recording area 13 and having no contact with the second recording area 14.
  • the second channel 16 is connected to the second recording area 14 and accordingly has no contact with the first recording area 13. This ensures in the present embodiment that the masses located in the containers 3, 4 cannot come into contact with one another before exiting an outlet opening 18 of the head part 2.
  • the head part 2 has a substantially tubular outlet connection 17 with a substantially circular cross section.
  • the channels 15, 16 are arranged in the outlet connection 17, the channels 15, 16 running separately from one another within the outlet connection 17.
  • the second channel 16 has a circular cross section and the first channel 15 has a substantially crescent-shaped cross section, the first channel 15 being separated from the second channel 16 by a wall 19.
  • the shape of the cross sections of the channels 15, 16 can fundamentally be chosen arbitrarily.
  • the outlet connection 17 thus has the two channels 15 and 16, which are in fluid communication with the respective receiving area 13 and 14 and are separated from one another by the wall 19.
  • the wall 19 extends from a connecting web 21 separating the receiving areas 13 and 14 to the outlet opening 18 of the head part 2.
  • the head part 2 is in particular made of a material to which the masses stored in the containers do not stick.
  • the head part 2 can have a non-stick coating, particularly in the areas that interact with the masses, such as the channels 15, 16.
  • connection area 19 for a conventionally designed static mixer (not shown in more detail) is arranged on an outer circumference of the outlet connection 17 or outlet pipe.
  • the connection area 19 is designed as a thread, so that a mixer can be arranged on the head part 2 in a screwing movement.
  • Such a mixer has a Structure that leads to the most favorable possible mixing of masses guided via the channels 15,16. Via the structure of the mixer, the masses guided via the channels 15, 16 and coming from the containers 3, 4 come into contact with one another for the first time in the direction of flow.
  • a control device 22 designed here as a check valve, is arranged in the second channel 16.
  • the check valve 22 By means of the check valve 22, the mass located in the container 3 and conveyed via the first channel 15 through the outlet opening 18 is reliably prevented from being guided upstream through the check valve 22. It is therefore reliably prevented that the mass in the container 3 gets into the second container 4.
  • the check valve 22 is in Fig. 2 schematic and in Fig. 3 shown in simplified form in an unassembled state.
  • the check valve 22 has a spring device 23 which closes the second channel 16 without the application of an external force.
  • the check valve 22 only releases a volume flow through the second channel 16 when an external force applied to the check valve 22 on the container side exceeds the spring force of the spring device 23.
  • the mass stored in the container 4 can therefore only be guided through the second channel 16 in the direction of the outlet opening 18 of the head part 2 when a defined minimum pressure present in the second container 4 is exceeded. This is particularly advantageous when using film containers, as this ensures that the container rests against a wall of a pressing device to the desired extent and thereby achieves the desired good folding of the film container during a pressing process.
  • a spring-loaded flap for example, can also be provided, which allows the mass to flow out of the second container 4 in the direction of the outlet opening 18 and a mass to flow in the direction of the second container 4 and thus a backflow in the direction of the second container 4 is prevented.
  • control device is also arranged in the first channel 15 in order, for example, to reliably prevent a backflow of mass into the first container 3.
