Definitions

  • the invention relates to the field of joinery and more particularly relates to an accessory kit for joinery, a joinery comprising said accessory kit and a method of implementing said accessory kit on said joinery.
  • Joinery intended to reversibly close a bay of a building generally comprises an opening movably connected to a frame.
  • the opening and the frame are conventionally formed of several profiles joined to each other so as to respectively form an opening frame and a frame.
  • the present invention aims to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks by proposing an accessory kit for carpentry, said carpentry comprising an opening and a frame cooperating with each other to reversibly close a bay of a building, the frame and the opening respectively comprising a frame and an opening frame formed by butted profiles.
  • the accessory kit comprises a housing and a connecting member intended to cooperate with one of the opening or frame profiles, said housing and said connecting member being configured so that when they cooperate with said profile of opening or frame, they are capable of being mechanically linked to each other so as to form an accessory comprising at least three distinct zones of support against the opening or frame profile, which, combined with each other, allow the accessory to be held in position on the sash or frame profile.
  • Maintaining in position is achieved by assembling together the connecting member and the housing.
  • installing the accessory is easy and quick and does not require any special tools.
  • accessory kit can advantageously be implemented on any existing joinery.
  • the accessory kit therefore does not require an opening frame or joinery frame profile to have any particular arrangements in order to be able to cooperate with it.
  • the housing of the accessory kit can advantageously consist of a sensor, for example adapted to detect if the opening of the joinery occupies an opening or closing position of a building bay.
  • the invention also meets the following characteristics, implemented separately or in each of their technically effective combinations.
  • the housing and the connecting member each comprise a projection intended to form a bearing zone against the opening or frame profile.
  • Said housing and said connecting member are configured so that the protrusions extend respectively in parallel directions and in opposite directions when they are mechanically linked to each other.
  • the respective projections of the housing and the connecting member are designed to cooperate with the opening or frame profile.
  • protrusions extend in opposite directions allows the attachment of the accessory to the opening or frame profile when the housing and the connecting member are mechanically linked to each other.
  • the housing and the connecting member are mechanically linked to each other by elastic fitting.
  • This characteristic makes it possible to mechanically link the box with the connecting member by sliding one relative to the other and thus to maintain the accessory in position on the opening or frame profile. This is advantageous insofar as maintaining the position is achieved quickly and easily, and does not require a specific tool.
  • the elastic fitting is produced by cooperation between at least one holding pin and at least one orifice intended to receive said pin.
  • Said lug and said orifice are intended to extend in directions parallel to the longitudinal axis of the opening or frame profile when the housing and the connecting member cooperate with the opening or frame profile.
  • the housing or the connecting member can equally include the lug or the orifice.
  • the housing is intended to be interposed between two connecting members with which it is capable of being mechanically linked, to hold the accessory in position against the opening or frame profile.
  • This characteristic is advantageous in that it makes it possible to balance the forces applied by the accessory on the opening or frame profile when the housing and the connecting members are mechanically linked together.
  • the present invention also relates, according to another object, to a joinery comprising an opening and a frame cooperating with one another to reversibly close a bay of a building, the frame and the opening respectively comprising a frame and an opening frame formed by butted profiles.
  • Said joinery comprising an accessory kit as previously described, the housing and the connecting member being configured so that, when they are mechanically linked to one another, they exert one on the other forces causing localized pressure forces applied by the accessory against three surfaces of the opening or frame profile, two of which are parallel and opposite each other and the third of which is perpendicular to the two others.
  • the housing and the connecting member comprise elastic interlocking elements dimensioned so that, when the housing and the connecting member both cooperate with the opening or frame profile and they are mechanically linked together, they apply forces towards each other tending to cause twisting of the accessory along an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the opening profile or frame, so as to generate a moment of force causing a phenomenon of bracing of said accessory on said opening or frame profile.
  • This characteristic makes it possible to increase the forces applied to the opening or frame profile by the accessory and thus to maximize the retention in position of said accessory on said profile.
  • the connecting member comprises a tongue provided with an offset end portion engaged in a groove made in a side wing of the opening or frame profile.
  • This characteristic makes it possible to facilitate cooperation of the connecting member with the opening or frame profile.
  • the groove made in the side wing of the opening or frame profile comprises a seal abutting against the connecting member.
  • This characteristic makes it possible to prevent any possible translation of the accessory and thus to guarantee that the accessory is maintained in position on the opening or frame profile.
  • a second connecting member is arranged against the opening or frame profile in the vicinity of the housing, opposite the other connecting member, and is driven in sliding towards the housing so as to link them together mechanically by elastic fitting, the housing thus being interposed between the two connecting members.
  • the present invention relates to an accessory kit 10 for carpentry 50 comprising an opening and a frame cooperating with each other to reversibly close a bay of a building.
  • the frame and the opening respectively comprise a frame and an opening frame formed by butted profiles.
