Description

The invention relates to a device and a method for cleaning cup-like containers of spray guns and a related use.

Devices for cleaning cup-like containers of spray guns, spray guns and their parts are known from the prior art, in which the parts to be cleaned, spray guns and containers of spray guns, hereinafter also referred to as "objects to be cleaned", are picked up by means of frame-like receiving devices , whereby the wire frame-like receiving devices - similar to a dishwasher - are then inserted into the existing cleaning devices in order to then clean them using at least one cleaning agent. In several cleaning steps, due to the successive cleaning steps by pre-cleaning the previous cleaning, the cleaning liquids that are differently contaminated with the substances to be removed can be fed to different collecting containers via different processes in a single cleaning compartment of such cleaning devices. Since even with the targeted use of appropriate internal built-in nozzles, it cannot be completely avoided that at least a small part of the different heavily contaminated cleaning agents unintentionally runs into the intended drain during the respective cleaning steps and therefore does not result in a really very clean collection Since the cleaning fraction of the corresponding collecting containers with different levels of contamination can be achieved, in quite a few cases it is no longer possible to use a cleaning agent that is less heavily contaminated with substances to be removed, which is usually due to the fact that it is a cleaning step that occurs after an initial pre-cleaning takes place, cannot be easily reused, so that a not inconsiderable consumption of cleaning agents can be observed.

This is how it is done DE 902 115 a boiler with several chambers heated by a common furnace is described. Each chamber contains a liquid intended to feed the device belonging to the boiler, which is heated immediately.

Out of US 3,888,693 A a device and a method for cleaning objects from contaminating liquid are known. The articles are washed with a two-phase liquid, the two phases being immiscible and insoluble with the contaminating liquid.

Out of US 2011/068070 A1 a container and a method for cleaning and examining objects are known. The container is a wire container with spring-like wires shaped to support the objects when the container is shaken so that the wires and objects move.

DE 10 2011 015 614 B4 discloses a device for cleaning cup-like containers of spray guns, spray guns and their parts according to the preamble of claim 1. This document in particular discloses a device for cleaning cup-like containers of spray guns, spray guns and their parts, which is designed in such a way that when passing through a cleaning by means of a drain allocation device with substances to be removed, differently contaminated cleaning liquid is at least partially allocated as a drain to different collecting containers, the drain allocation device being part of a first pneumatic device, the device having only one drain allocation device and the device having a rotating device for rotating a receiving device for receiving the cleaning cup-like containers of spray guns, spray guns and their parts, whereby the pneumatic operation of the rotating device prevents the different cleaning steps in the above-mentioned sense from causing greater mixing of the differently contaminated or used cleaning agents in the respective cleaning steps and no greater mixing of these two media can be prevented because there is a relatively large amount of residual cleaner in the hoses and drain pan of such devices, which runs into the other circuit, so that unnecessary contamination or a relatively high solvent consumption can be observed.

The problem on which the invention is based is therefore to at least partially reduce or even avoid this disadvantage, in particular to provide a corresponding cleaning device which provides cleaning agents that are cleanly contaminated with substances to be removed, cleanly from one another and thus in a defined manner - with the lowest possible absolute cleaning agent consumption -, so that with the lowest possible overall consumption of cleaning agents, at least some of the cleaning agent fractions following a first rough cleaning step (pre-cleaning) can be used immediately for further cleaning steps or objects to be cleaned later, or at least the first pre-cleaning step is designed in such an efficient manner is that for the subsequent cleaning (main cleaning) less solvent has to be added compared to the cleaning process usual from the prior art in order to achieve excellent cleaning results.

This problem or this task is solved according to the invention by a device according to claim 1 and a method according to claim 12.

In the device according to the invention for cleaning cup-like containers of spray guns, spray guns and their parts, the device according to the invention is designed in such a way that when cleaning is carried out, cleaning liquid contaminated with substances to be removed is allocated to a collecting container as an outlet, the cleaning being carried out in at least two ways from one another is divided into separate cleaning steps so that for each individual cleaning step a cleaning liquid contaminated and/or not contaminated with substances to be removed is allocated as a process to a collecting container exclusively assigned to the individual cleaning step, the device being designed in such a way that the processes are spatially separated from one another in a functional sense can be carried out, for example and in particular by cleaning the objects to be cleaned in a cleaning compartment with a corresponding process that is exclusively intended for each cleaning step.

In this context, it is advantageous, as proven in practice, if the cleaning liquid allocation is (also) carried out spatially separated from one another in the functional sense.

Furthermore, it is advantageous if a pump assigned exclusively to the respective cleaning step is provided for each cleaning step in order to completely avoid even minimal contamination of the individual cleaning agents from the corresponding cleaning steps or for the corresponding cleaning steps in such a case.

In this context, it is also advantageous, as it has been proven, that a collecting container is provided for each cleaning step and is assigned exclusively to the respective cleaning step.

Furthermore, it is advantageous that for each cleaning step at least one cleaning liquid storage container is provided that is exclusively assigned to the respective cleaning step.

According to the invention, the device has at least one holder which, in a functional sense, holds at least two objects to be cleaned for each cleaning step. In practice, it has proven advantageous if the holder is designed in such a way that the objects to be cleaned can be spatially aligned, i.e. within the scope of the objects to be cleaned in relation to the nozzles generally present in a respective cleaning compartment within the device according to the invention.

In this context, it is furthermore advantageous, as proven, for the holder to have at least one clamp for holding and/or at least one spreader arm receptacle for holding, with, for example and in particular, the clamp being used for fastening a cup lid and the spreading arm receptacle for holding a cup .

Furthermore, it is advantageous, as proven in practice, if the holder is designed to be transportable, for example and in particular in that the holder has a handle.

It is furthermore according to the invention if a cleaning compartment intended exclusively for this cleaning step is implemented for each cleaning step.

Furthermore, it is according to the invention if, in this context, the holder is arranged in the cleaning compartment provided for this cleaning step during a cleaning step, whereby it has proven to be particularly advantageous in practice, since it is very procedurally efficient for the holder to be in the area intended for each cleaning step respective cleaning step provided cleaning compartment is arranged.

In the method according to the invention for cleaning cup-like containers of spray guns, spray guns and their parts, a device according to the invention is used.

According to the invention, after a first cleaning step, the holder is fed from the cleaning compartment assigned to this first cleaning step to a cleaning compartment assigned to a further cleaning step, which can be carried out, for example and in particular, automatically, semi-automatically, programmed automatically or manually.

The invention is explained in more detail in a non-restrictive manner using the following exemplary embodiment, where:
  • Figure 1 - represents a schematic, perspective view of a possible embodiment of the cleaning device according to the invention,
    and
  • Figure 2 - represents a schematic, perspective view of a holder according to the invention, which is inserted into a cleaning device according to the invention.

In Figure 1 A possible embodiment of the device according to the invention for cleaning cup-like containers of spray guns, spray guns and their parts is shown in sketch and perspective form.

The cleaning device is box-shaped and can be closed by means of two covers 8, 8 'before cleaning. In this case, swirled-up cleaning agent vapors are optionally sucked off via a corresponding suction system (not shown), whereby the individual cleaning steps or only a single cleaning step can be set in terms of duration using an optional programming unit and/or a timer for the user.

After loading the objects to be cleaned, namely the cup-like containers 1 and the corresponding lids 3, into a holder 2 in a cleaning compartment 7 by clamping at least one lid 3 to be cleaned using at least one clamp 4 and resilient tension by means of a spreading arm 5, in order to then start a cleaning program or simply just a cleaning step or cleaning as such. Using a pump (not shown) which is intended exclusively for the pre-cleaning, which takes place exclusively in the cleaning compartment 7, fresh cleaning agent or only slightly contaminated cleaning agent is used for the pre-cleaning of the objects to be cleaned.

Afterwards, after opening the lid 8, the holder 2 together with the pre-cleaned objects 1, 3 are removed using a handle 6 (see Fig. Figure 2 ) is transferred to a second post-cleaning compartment 7', with the corresponding cover 8' closing the second cleaning compartment 7' at the start of the post-cleaning step. The post-cleaning program can then be started again using a program or manually using a timer be started, whereby here too a single pump for conveying cleaning agent is exclusively responsible for this step and this also applies accordingly to the flow of the cleaning agent used, as of course also for the previous pre-cleaning step in the cleaning compartment 7. The same applies to the respective cleaning agent inflow , so that in this case the cleaning agent inlet for the individual cleaning compartments 7 and 7 'each have independent cleaning agent inlets, independent cleaning agent drains and independent pumps for conveying the cleaning agent.

Essential to the invention is the fact that for each cleaning step a cleaning compartment intended exclusively for this cleaning step is realized, with the holder at the same time being arranged in the cleaning compartment provided for the respective cleaning step for each cleaning step, the holder being provided in a further cleaning compartment after a first cleaning step The cleaning compartment assigned to the first cleaning step is fed to a further cleaning step, wherein the feeding can be carried out automatically, semi-automatically, programmed automatically or manually.

Due to this clever combination of features, it is possible that both minimal cleaning agent consumption and extremely high cleaning performance can be achieved according to the invention, while at the same time an extremely small amount of time is required due to the systemic holding of the objects 1, 3 to be cleaned within the holder itself.
