Definitions

  • the invention relates to a wheel suspension for a bicycle, the bicycle with the wheel suspension, a hub of the bicycle and a bicycle frame section.
  • a wheel suspension for a bicycle by means of which a wheel is attached to the bicycle, conventionally has two dropouts arranged in alignment.
  • the dropouts for the front wheel of the bicycle are conventionally arranged on a fork of the bicycle and the dropouts for the rear wheel of the bicycle are conventionally arranged on the region of the frame of the bicycle which is located at the rear in the direction of travel of the bicycle.
  • a wheel axle of the wheel is inserted into the dropouts. Then the wheel axle is attached to the bike using two nuts or a quick release.
  • the disadvantage here is that the wheel axle can be installed at an angle. This can lead to the impeller dragging against the brake associated with the impeller.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to create a wheel suspension for a bicycle, the bicycle with the wheel suspension, a hub of the bicycle and a bicycle frame section in which an inclined installation of a wheel of the bicycle can be avoided.
  • the wheel suspension according to the invention for a bicycle has a wheel axle which has an internal thread at each of its two axial ends, a bicycle frame section of the bicycle which has a first frame end and a second frame end, each of which has a dropout in which one of the axial ends is arranged , and each have a wall that delimits the dropout in the axial direction of the wheel axle and has a through hole that communicates with the dropout, one sleeve for each of the frame ends, which is arranged concentrically with the through hole in the through hole in a form-fitting manner, and one screw for each of the frame ends, which is arranged concentrically with the sleeve and extends positively through the sleeve and via the axial end into the wheel axle, the screw thread of the screw engaging the internal thread.
  • the respective screw Since the sleeve is positively arranged in the through hole at the first frame end and at the second frame end and the screw extends through the sleeve in a form-fitting manner, the respective screw has a high position at both the first frame end and the second frame end Accuracy set. Because the two screw threads of the two screws are each in engagement with the associated internal thread of the wheel axle, the position of the wheel axle is also fixed with high accuracy. This means that it is no longer possible to attach a running wheel belonging to the wheel axle at an angle to the bicycle frame section. In addition, by providing the walls, the bicycle frame section is advantageously more torsion-resistant than in the case of a bicycle frame section that has conventional dropouts without the walls.
  • the sleeves have a larger surface area compared to the screws, so that the forces that are transmitted to the bicycle frame section result in lower pressures on the bicycle frame section than would be the case if the screws were fastened directly to the bicycle frame section.
  • the provision of the sleeves thus leads to a low mechanical load on the bicycle frame section.
  • the sleeves can be replaced in the event of damage, which is not possible or only possible with great effort in the case of the bicycle frame section.
  • a bicycle frame is understood to mean the actual bicycle frame but also a front fork of the bicycle which is set up to hold the front wheel of the bicycle.
  • the dropout is understood to be an area delimited by the bicycle frame in the radial direction of the wheel axle and free from the bicycle frame, in which the wheel axle is to be inserted for fastening the wheel to the bicycle frame section.
  • the bicycle frame section is understood to mean, for example, a front fork of the bicycle which is set up to hold the front wheel of the bicycle, or a rear fork of the bicycle which is set up to hold the rear wheel of the bicycle.
  • the rear fork may have chain stays and seat stays of the bicycle.
  • the bicycle frame section can also be two connecting pieces of the bicycle, each of the connecting pieces connecting one of the chain stays of the bicycle and one of the seat stays of the bicycle to one another.
  • the front fork can also be a suspension fork which has a vibration damper on each of the two arms.
  • the wheel is positioned together with the wheel axle attached to the wheel between the first frame end and the second frame end and the two axial ends of the wheel axle are moved by means of a movement of the wheel that has a component in the radial direction of the wheel axle, inserted into the two dropouts. Then the wheel axle is attached by turning the two screws, the wheel axle aligning itself so that the wheel is just attached to the bicycle frame. This can prevent the wheel from dragging on a brake of the bicycle belonging to the wheel. Because the wheel axle is attached to the wheel, it is also advantageously not necessary to provide the wheel axle in one piece.
  • the wheel axle preferably has two sub-axles which are arranged at a distance from one another.
  • One of the two points Partial axles one axial end of the wheel axle, which is arranged in one of the dropouts, and the other of the two partial axles on the other axial end of the wheel axle, which is arranged in the other of the dropouts.
  • the two partial axles can be connected to one another, for example, by means of a hub housing.
  • the installation space between the two partial axes can be used for other purposes. This is relevant, for example, if the wheel belonging to the wheel axle has an electric motor.
  • the electric motor can utilize the space between the two partial axes.
  • a gear of the electric motor in particular a planetary gear, can be arranged in the installation space between the two partial axes.
  • the wheel suspension preferably has an anti-rotation lock for each of the frame ends, which is arranged in the dropout so that it cannot rotate and has an anti-rotation through-hole in which the wheel axle is rotated and in particular is arranged in a form-fitting manner.
  • the rotation lock can be used to prevent the wheel axle from rotating while riding a bicycle.
  • the wheel can be attached to the bicycle frame section by first placing the two anti-rotation locks on the two axial ends of the wheel axle. Then the impeller with the wheel axle and the anti-rotation locks, as previously described, are inserted into the two dropouts, whereby the anti-rotation locks are arranged in the dropouts. The wheel axle is then attached to the bicycle frame section by turning the two screws.
  • the wheel axle has a straight wheel axle section at its two axial ends in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction on its radial outer side and the anti-rotation lock has a straight anti-rotation lock section on its radial inner side in the cross section, which corresponds to the straight Wheel axle section is arranged facing. It is thus possible to arrange the wheel axle with a predetermined angle of rotation relative to the bicycle frame section.
  • the wheel axle has a stop for each of the anti-rotation locks, which is set up to fix the axial position of the anti-rotation lock on the wheel axle.
  • the wheel axle has a wheel axle cavity and a wheel axle through hole, which is introduced into a surface of the wheel axle which is on the outside in the radial direction of the wheel axle and communicates with the wheel axle cavity, electrical wiring of the bicycle being arranged in the wheel axle cavity and via the wheel axle through hole to is guided outside the wheel axle.
  • the wheel shaft through-hole can be provided with a predetermined position in the circumferential direction. In this way, the wiring can also be led out of the wheel axle cavity at the predetermined position.

  • the screw is advantageously prevented from falling out of the sleeve when the wheel is attached to the bicycle frame section or is removed from the bicycle frame. This allows the wheel to be easily attached to the bicycle frame section or removed from the bicycle frame section. It is thus possible, for example, to grasp the sleeve and the screw together with only one single hand and to insert them together into the through hole or to remove them from the through hole. It is conceivable that the sleeve projection extends along the entire inner circumference of the sleeve.
