Abstract

The present invention relates to a building structure (1) for creating a secondary part (2) inside a main part (3) of larger size than said secondary part (2), said structure construction (1) being able to pass from a folded position (4) called "storage position", to an extended position (6) corresponding to its "use position".The construction structure (1) according to the The invention is characterized in that it comprises, at least, a modular parallelepipedal box (7) to which are fixed, integrally and in an articulated manner, two lateral partitions (81,82) each able to fold up like an accordion towards each other during the passage of said building structure (1) from its deployed position (6) to its folded position (4), each of said lateral partitions (81,82) comprising a return in the form of a fin ( 91,92) secured to a wall (5) that comprises said main part (3), at least one of the ites two side partitions (81,82) comprising a door (10) for access to said secondary room (2) when said building structure (1) is in the deployed position (6).

Description

The present invention falls within the general field of building structures that can be integrated into a building.

The present invention relates more particularly to a foldable modular structure, capable of passing from a first configuration in which it is folded, to a second configuration in which said structure is deployed.

The objective of the present invention is, more generally, to propose, by means of the folding structure in accordance with the invention, the rapid creation, inside a first existing room, such as an office called "open space" or " coworking", a second room smaller than the first.

It will thus be more easily possible, for a user of the structure of the invention, to isolate himself in this room created by means of said structure, in order to be able to work there, for example.

However, such a preferential application in the field of the world of work should not be understood as being limiting of the invention.

Indeed, it is also possible, by means of the foldable modular structure, to quickly create a room having a function other than an office; for example, it is envisaged to be able to create a bedroom space comprising one or more bed(s), which can be integrated, for example, into a main residence or a secondary holiday residence, to integrate an additional bedroom there if necessary.

In the field of building structures, we already know from the French patent application FR 2 990 543 , a structure comprising, in combination:

• a set of panels oriented vertically as a whole and jointly forming the four partitions of a room or a room, said panels being connected in series to each other so that it is possible, on the one hand, to fold at least the 'one of these panels on the other so that they take on a storage configuration and, on the other hand, unfold these panels so that they take on a room or closed room configuration, the set of panels comprising means which facilitate movement of the complete set from one place to another at least while they present said storage configuration;
• a ceiling section suspended above the set of panels, this ceiling section comprising means for lowering it and supporting selectively at least part of its weight on panels of the unfolded assembly;
• means placed above and below the panels to form a tight joint when the weight of the ceiling is exerted on all the panels.

The structure proposed here is of complex design, and the presence of a ceiling panel requires means for adjusting it vertically, so that said ceiling comes to rest on all the panels forming the partitions of the room.

Furthermore, the ceiling panel is fixed in the large room which it is desired to divide by means of the structure proposed in this prior art document.

Therefore, it is not possible to arrange the structure where you want it, or to move it to another place in the room as needed, it is necessary to ensure that all the panels forming partitions certainly coincides with the ceiling, which remains permanently in place and encumbers the room, before the ceiling section, being at a high height, is lowered onto the panels in the deployed position, by means of complex systems incorporating including a plurality of cables.

It is also necessary to take into account the weight of the ceiling panel, which is liable to deteriorate the panels forming the partitions, when the ceiling comes to rest on it.

In addition, no particular development of the structure is planned.

In an attempt to respond, at least in part, to the drawbacks of the state of the art, a construction structure has been designed for the creation of a secondary part, capable of passing from a folded position to an unfolded position, and comprising a parallelepipedal modular box in which a piece of furniture can be housed, for example a bed or a desk, and for which no structure or ceiling plate is necessary.

Thus, more specifically, the present invention relates to a construction structure for creating a secondary part inside a main part of larger size than said secondary part, said construction structure being able to pass from from a folded position, or “storage position”, to an extended position corresponding to its “use position” as a secondary part.

The deployable building structure according to the present invention is more particularly characterized in that it comprises, at least, a modular parallelepipedic box, preferably incorporating at least one piece of furniture, to which box are fixed, solidarily, and in an articulated manner, two side partitions each able to fold accordion-like towards each other during the passage of said building structure from its deployed position to its folded position.

In addition, it should also be noted that, according to the invention, each of the said lateral partitions that the construction structure comprises is provided with a return, in the form of a fin, the latter being intended to be fixed to a wall in said main room in which a user wishes to create a secondary room.

According to yet another characteristic of the present construction structure, at least one of the two lateral partitions comprises a means of access, in particular in the form of a door, from the main room to said secondary room when said construction structure is in the deployed position.

According to particular embodiments:

• the modular parallelepipedic box is mounted on at least two rollers to facilitate the passage of the construction structure from its folded position to its unfolded position, and vice versa;

With reference to these drawings, the present invention relates to a construction structure 1 intended to allow the creation of a secondary room 2, inside a main room 3 of a dwelling or a business, this the latter being larger in size than the secondary part 2.

Thus, the main room 3 in which the construction structure of the invention is arranged, originally having a space of substantial dimensions, will be divided into several spaces of smaller dimensions, in particular into two spaces, by means of the structure of construction 1 according to the present invention.

Indeed, said building structure 1 is more particularly capable of passing from a folded position 4, which can also be called "storage position" 4, visible on the figure 1 attached, in which said structure 1 is folded against a wall 5 of the main room 3, in a deployed position 6.

The deployed position 6 of the construction structure 1 corresponds to the position in which it constitutes a secondary part 2, which can also be called "position of use" 6.

The deployed position 6 of the building structure is illustrated in particular on the figure 2 drawings attached.

The building structure 1 according to the invention is more particularly characterized by the fact that it comprises, at least, a modular parallelepipedic box 7.

Said modular parallelepipedal box 7 comprises at least two side walls 71, 72, a front wall 73 and, advantageously, an upper wall 74.

Such a modular parallelepiped box 7 is connected, integrally and in an articulated manner, to two side partitions 81, 82, which the construction structure 1 also comprises, so that said side partitions 81, 82 can fold towards one another, like an accordion, when said structure 1 passes from its deployed position 6, to its folded position 4.

To do this, each of the side partitions 81, 82 consists of at least two panels hinged together.

Thus, on the picture 2 , are shown the two hinged panels 81a, 81b of the first side wall 81, as well as the two panels 82a, 82b of the second side wall 82.

Although such an embodiment is not shown, it is obviously possible for each side partition 81, 82 of the building structure 1 to comprise a number greater than two panels, each panel then being articulated with the panel or panels ( x) adjacent(s).

To return now to the articulation between the side partitions 81, 82 and the modular parallelepiped box 7, preferably, the first side wall 71 of said box 7 is connected in an articulated manner to the side wall 81, while the second wall side 72 of this same box 7 is connected, still in an articulated manner, to the side partition 82 of the structure 1.

Consequently, and as illustrated in particular on the figure 1 and 3 joined, when the building structure 1 is in its folded position 4, said side partitions 81, 82 thereof are, for their part, folded like an accordion and positioned between the wall 5 of the main room 3 and the modular parallelepipedic box 7.

In this regard, it should be noted that each of the side partitions 81, 82 comprises a return 91, 92, visible on the figure 2 , advantageously in the form of a fin 91, 92 which may have a variable width, each of these fins 91, 92 being secured to the wall 5 of the main room 3 which is to be divided by the installation of the structure of construction 1 of the invention.

Each of the fins 91,92 is also connected in an articulated manner to its respective lateral partition 81,82 to allow the folding of said partitions 81,82.

In an embodiment not shown in the attached figures, the fins 91, 92, allowing the attachment of the building structure 1 to the wall 5 of the main room 3, can be replaced by a bottom partition which connects the two side partitions 81.82 of said structure 1.

It should also be noted that, according to another characteristic of the present building structure 1, at least one of the side partitions 81, 82 comprises an access means 10, in the form of a door, allowing a user to enter the secondary part 2 created when said structure 1 is in its deployed position 6.

In this case, on the figure 2 of the attached drawings, the door 10 is provided at the level of the side wall 82, more particularly at the level of the hinged panel 82a of this wall 82.

In a very preferred embodiment of the building structure 1 of the invention, the modular parallelepipedic box 7 incorporates at least one piece of furniture, which can advantageously prove to be foldable and unfoldable, so that said box 7, and therefore also the building structure 1 when the latter is in the folded position 4, i.e. as compact as possible.

Thus, in a first variant embodiment, illustrated in the figure 4 appended, said modular parallelepiped box 7 comprises two bunk beds 11,12, capable of passing from a folded position in said box 7, when said structure 1 presents itself in its folded position 4, to an unfolded position visible on the figure 4 , when the structure 1 is in the deployed position 6.

The modular parallelepiped box 7 can also incorporate other movable elements, such as shelves 13, etc., which are also illustrated on the figure 4 .

In a second variant embodiment, now described with reference to the figure 5 of the attached drawings, said modular parallelepiped box 7 this time comprises a desk 14, which can also pass from a folded position within said box 7 (position not shown), when the structure 1 is in its folded position 4, to an unfolded position within the secondary part 2 which is created during the deployment of the structure 1.

To facilitate the passage of the building structure 1 from its folded position 4 to its unfolded position 6, and vice versa, note here that said modular parallelepipedic box 7 is advantageously mounted on at least two wheels 15a, 15b, which are visible on the picture 3 appended, these can preferably be remote-controlled.

In a particularly advantageous embodiment of the building structure 1 of the invention, the latter incorporates at least lighting means and/or a computer connection and/or an electrical connection.

Most preferably, such elements are positioned in a housing 16 that comprises the modular parallelepipedic box 7 at its upper part.

It should also be noted that rigid covering cheeks, not shown in the figures, can complete the covering of the whole of the construction structure 1, in particular when the latter is in its folded position 4, said cheeks coming hide the parts of said structure 1 which are fixed to the wall 5 as well as the stack of side partitions 81,82 when these are accordion, and the wheels 15a, 15b that said structure 1 may include.

In a particularly interesting manner, which should not however be considered as being limiting of the invention, the construction structure 1, in the folded position 4 has a thickness less than or equal to 70 cm, whereas, when the latter is in the folded position deployed 6, it is possible to create a secondary room 2 having a side of approximately 2m50.

The height of all the partitions that the building structure 1 comprises can advantageously be of the order of 2.30 m.

It should also be noted that, advantageously, all of the elements which constitute the construction structure 1 of the invention can be delivered as a kit, with packages each not exceeding a weight of 22 kg.

Claims (4)

Building structure (1) for creating a secondary part (2) inside a main part (3) of larger size than said secondary part (2), said building structure (1) being suitable to pass from a folded position (4) called "storage position", to a deployed position (6) corresponding to its "use position", said construction structure (1) being characterized in that it comprises, at least one modular parallelepipedic box (7) to which are attached, integrally and in an articulated manner, two lateral partitions (81,82) each capable of folding accordion-like towards each other when said structure passes construction (1) from its deployed position (6) to its folded position (4), each of said side partitions (81,82) comprising a return in the form of a fin (91,92) secured to a wall (5) that said main part (3) comprises, at least one of said two lateral partitions (81,82) comprising a door (10) for access to said secondary part (2) when said building structure (1) is in the deployed position (6). Construction structure (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the said modular parallelepipedal box (7) comprises at least one element of furniture (11, 12, 14) which can be unfolded and folded. Construction structure (1) according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterized in that the said modular box (7) is mounted on at least two rollers (15a, 15b). Building structure (1) according to any one of Claims 1 to 2, characterized in that it incorporates at least one lighting and/or one computer connection and/or one electrical connection.
