Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a household dishwasher and a method for operating a household dishwasher.
  • a dishwasher comprises a washing container in which items to be cleaned can be accommodated.
  • a rotating spray arm can be provided inside the washing compartment to apply washing solution and / or fresh water to the items to be washed.
  • This spray arm can be driven either with the help of the pressure from spray nozzles of the spray arm exiting wash liquor and / or fresh water or with the help of an active drive, in particular special with the help of an electric motor.
  • an actively driven spray arm cannot be moved by hand. A problem can therefore arise if the spray arm stops in a position in which access to other components in the washing area is impeded.
  • US Pat. No. 9,220,393 B2 describes a dishwasher with an actively driven lower spray arm.
  • a sensor detects when the spray arm is over the sensor or when it moves away from the sensor during one revolution. The rotation of the spray arm can be calculated based on this sensor signal. It is provided that the spray arm is stopped in a position in which access to the filter device is not impaired by the spray arm.
  • a household dishwasher with a washing container, a container arranged outside the washing container for receiving a Radiomit means which is accessible through an opening in an interior of the washing container when the door of the household dishwasher is open, a spray arm for acting on received in the washing container Items to be washed with washing liquor, a drive device for actively driving the spray arm and a control device for controlling the drive device are proposed.
  • a drive element of the drive device is associated with a detection device for detecting an angular position of the drive element.
  • the control device is set up to determine an angular position of the spray arm depending on the detected angular position of the drive element and to control the drive device for stopping the spray arm in a predetermined angular range outside an angular range determined by an access area of the opening depending on the determined angular position of the spray arm .
  • This household dishwasher has the advantage that the position of the actively driven spray arm is known exactly at all times. This enables the spray arm to be stopped in a precisely defined area when the current wash program is interrupted or finished. This prevents the actively driven spray arm from being stopped in a position in which it hinders or blocks access to certain components of the household dishwasher.
  • the fact that the position control is carried out by means of a detection device assigned to the drive element, which is arranged in particular in an area separate or protected from the washing container, for example outside the washing container, can improve the reliability and service life of the detection device. Furthermore, the detection device can be constructed more simply, since it does not have to be specially protected from the extreme conditions in the washing container during a wash cycle. Overall, the operation of the household dishwasher is therefore more reliable and simpler.
  • the household dishwasher comprises a washing container which can be closed in a fluid-tight manner in particular from one side by means of a door which can be pivoted about an axis.
  • the door can be opened to load the wash compartment with items to be washed.
  • further components of the domestic dishwasher can be accessed in the interior of the washing compartment.
  • a filter screen or a salt container arranged above a sump or pump sump of the domestic dishwasher can be accessible.
  • the container for receiving the operating material is arranged outside the Spülbenzol age and has an opening that can be accessed from the interior of the washing container.
  • the container can preferably be connected to the operating means via the opening be filled.
  • the operating medium can, for example, be a consumable that is used and consumed in the course of one or more flushing processes.
  • the container is preferably designed to hold a supply of the operating medium, so that the operating medium is sufficient for several flushing processes.
  • the container can also have further openings.
  • the container can be coupled to a hydraulic system of the household dishwasher and / or has a lock for introducing or removing the operating medium and / or another substance.
  • the spray arm is, for example, a lower spray arm which is arranged in the washing compartment and above a floor thereof.
  • the spray arm is in particular rotatably mounted, with an axis of rotation of the spray arm running essentially perpendicular to the floor.
  • “essentially perpendicular” is to be understood in particular to mean that, for example, a slight incline of the base, for example up to 25 °, can be present for the wash liquor to drain off. It can also be said that the spray arm is rotatably mounted in a horizontal plane.
  • “loading” the items to be washed with washing solution means that the items to be washed are wetted with washing solution using the spray arm.
  • “rinsing liquor” can be understood as meaning water mixed with a cleaning agent or else pure drinking water.
  • the wash liquor can include dirt detached from the items to be washed.
  • the fact that the spray arm is "actively" driven is to be understood as meaning that the drive device applies a torque to the spray arm.
  • An active drive therefore does not mean that the spray arm is set in rotation with the aid of spray nozzles.
  • the drive device comprises a drive element, in particular an electric motor.
  • the drive device can also be operated hydraulically.
  • the control device can be implemented in terms of hardware and / or software.
  • the control device can be designed, for example, as a computer or as a microprocessor.
  • the control device can be designed as a computer program product, as a function, as a routine, as part of a program code or as an executable object.
  • the control device for controlling the household dishwasher is overall, based on one of several ren washing programs.
  • the fact that the control device controls the drive device is understood in particular to mean that the control device allows the spray arm to rotate at a specific speed or rotational frequency, accelerates, stops and / or moves it to a specific position, in particular Winkelpo position.
  • the drive device is preferably coupled purely mechanically to the spray arm, it being possible for one or more drive elements to be present.
  • the drive device carries the torque for driving the spray arm via a drive shaft.
  • one or more gears and belts can be provided.
  • the detection device is assigned to a drive element, so for example the drive shaft.
  • the fact that the detection device is assigned to the drive element is understood in particular to mean that the detection device is set up to detect the angular position of the drive element by means of a direct measurement.
  • the detection device comprises a Hall sensor, a magnetic signature being applied to the drive element.
  • the Hall sensor is arranged in the vicinity of the drive element in such a way that it detects a change in the magnetic flux due to a rotation of the drive element.
  • the drive element to which the detection device is assigned is preferably provided for power transmission in the drive device.
  • the drive element can also be coupled to a force-transmitting further drive element, for example by means of a gearwheel.
  • the detection device can be coupled directly to the spray arm.
  • the detection device detects an angular position of the drive element.
  • the angular position is understood here to mean a degree of rotation of the drive element in relation to a reference position or zero position.
  • the detected angular position corresponds in particular to a current or present angular position of the drive element.
  • the angular position is detected with a specific frequency or in specific time intervals.
  • the angular position is detected once, twice or even N times, where N can be any whole number, per revolution of the drive element.
  • the angular position can be determined by interpolation between two acquisition times.
  • the angular position of the drive element is preferably coupled to the angular position of the spray arm via a fixed and known function.
  • the angular position of the spray arm is proportional to the angular position of the drive element.
  • there may be a translation in which case, for example, one revolution of the drive element corresponds to a fraction of a revolution or more than one revolution of the spray arm.
  • the angle position of the spray arm corresponds to that of the drive shaft.
  • the control device is set up to determine the angular position of the spray arm as a function of the detected angular position of the drive element.
  • the detected angular position of the drive element corresponds exactly to an angular position of the spray arm. Accordingly, the control device "knows" the angular position of the spray arm when the angular position of the drive element has been detected.
  • a rotational frequency of the drive element is known, from which the rotational frequency of the spray arm can also be derived or determined. Assuming that the rotational frequency is constant in a time period between two times of recording the angular position of the drive element, the angular position of the spray arm is known at all times.
  • the control device can thus control the drive unit in such a way that the spray arm is stopped in a predetermined angular range.
  • the predetermined angle area lies in particular outside an angle area which is determined by an access area of the opening.
  • the access area of the opening is understood in particular to be an area that should be free for problem-free, that is, unhindered, access to the opening.
  • the access area is defined by a volume of space of 10 cm in each direction from an edge of the opening. If the opening is arranged at the bottom of the washing container, an area above the opening preferably belonged to the access area. This ensures that the opening is accessible without problems, in particular without being hindered by the spray arm.
  • the spray arm is preferably stopped in the predetermined angular range when a washing program has ended and / or a running washing program is interrupted, for example when a user of the domestic dishwasher opens the door.

  • the household dishwasher has a softening device for setting a water hardness of supplied water, the container comprising a salt container arranged under a floor of the washing container for receiving a supply of regeneration salt.
  • the regeneration salt is consumed by the softening device over time and must therefore be refilled after a number of rinsing processes. In the present case, this is possible without any problems, since the spray arm is stopped outside the access area of the opening for the salt container.
  • the predetermined angular range is determined in such a way that a longitudinal direction of the spray arm in the predetermined angular range is also parallel to an insertion direction of a dishwashing receptacle of the domestic dishwasher.
  • the spray arm has in particular an elongated or linear shape.
  • the spray arm comprises two arm parts which extend radially outward from the axis of rotation of the spray arm.
  • This embodiment is advantageous because, for example, washware protruding downward from the washware receptacle, in particular items of cutlery, can virtually not collide with the spray arm when the washware receptacle is pushed into the wash container. A collision can only take place if, for example, the wash ware protrudes from the wash ware receptacle in the exact center thereof, with a slight sideways evasion of the wash ware canceling the collision again. The risk of damage to the spray arm and / or the items to be washed is thus reduced in this embodiment.
