- the method also advantageously comprises a step of opening the drawer following the step of engaging the service brake. During this step, the drawer 52 is brought into its open position, for example to allow the passage of a user from the floor 54 to the railway vehicle 18.
- the method also advantageously comprises a step of closing the drawer before the step of disengaging the service brake 46. During this step, the drawer 52 is brought into its closed position, for example to allow the movement of the scaffold 26 .
- the maintenance installation 14 comprising a movement cable makes it possible to move the platform 36 from the floor 54. This is particularly advantageous since such a maintenance installation 14 allows a user to remain on the floor 54 while moving the platform 36 , which reduces the duration of operations carried out and improves safety by limiting user movement.
- the service brake 46 is particularly advantageous since it makes it possible to block the position of the mobile scaffold 26, which contributes to improving the safety of any operator located near or on the mobile scaffold 26.
- first disengagement member 72 and a second disengagement member 74 are also advantageous since it allows the movement of the mobile scaffold 26 both from the ground 12 and from the floor 54, which facilitates use of the maintenance facility 14.
- a parking brake 50 also improves the safety of use of the maintenance installation 14 by making it possible to block the position of the mobile scaffold 26 if necessary, even during unexpected disengagement of the service brake 46.
- the stop 34 is particularly advantageous since it limits the movement of the mobile scaffold 26 in the usable region 67, which makes it possible to improve safety by constraining, for example, the movement of the mobile scaffold 26 out of potentially dangerous areas.
- the mobile scaffold comprises a stepladder, extending upwards in a transverse direction from the floor 54.
- the stepladder extends more particularly from the floor 54 towards a direction opposite the guide rail.
- the stepladder 76 is for example configured to support the weight of a user moving from the floor 54 towards the railway vehicle 18. Such a stepladder 76 then makes it possible to facilitate access to the railway vehicle 18.
