The present invention relates to a railway vehicle bogie, comprising:
  • a chassis ;
  • at least one axle;
  • at least one axle box, internally receiving the at least one axle;
  • a suspension of the or each axle box on the frame;

Railway vehicle bogies are suitable for maintaining movable axles in rotation relative to a vehicle body. The railway vehicle bogies are further adapted to ensure the comfort of users located in the vehicle body and/or to ensure the durability of the structure of the vehicle body by absorbing the shocks transmitted from the axles to the vehicle body .

To this end, the bogies of railway vehicles can comprise a frame and an arm carrying an axle box, the axle being guided in rotation with respect to the axle box and the movement of the arm being damped with respect to the frame. At least one elastic member connects in particular the arm and the chassis, the group or groups of springs thus ensuring a damped transmission of shocks from the axle to the vehicle body.

Examples of railway vehicle bogies are presented in the documents US 1,962,893 A And CN 110 758 441 A . In the bogie according to US 1,962,893 A , the primary suspension comprises one primary spring per wheel, placed in a receiving cavity above the axle box. In the bogie according to CN 110 758 441 A , the primary suspension comprises two primary springs per wheel without receiving cavities.

In order to obtain high damping while limiting the vertical bulk, it is possible to use springs of great length, extending for example at the front or at the rear of the axle box and being in bearing on a lower part of the axle box, arranged under the axis of rotation of the axle. Such a solution is however not entirely satisfactory, since it is then complicated to mount or remove an axle from the axle box, a large part of the bogie, and in particular the groups of springs then having to be dismantled.

An object of the invention is then to propose a bogie offering a restricted vertical bulk and high characteristics in terms of damping.

A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un bogie de véhicule conforme à la revendication 1.To this end, the subject of the invention is a vehicle bogie according to claim 1.

A bogie in which the chassis comprises, for each elastic member, a cavity for receiving the spring is particularly advantageous, since it allows the installation of very long springs, in a suspension having a limited vertical space.

L'invention concerne en outre un véhicule ferroviaire conforme à la revendication 9.According to particular embodiments of the invention, the railway vehicle bogie also has one or more of the characteristics of claims 2 to 8, taken separately or in any technically possible combination(s). ). The invention further relates to a railway vehicle according to claim 9.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will become apparent on reading the following description, given solely by way of example and made with reference to the appended drawing, in which the single figure is a schematic representation and longitudinal section of a bogie according to the invention and more particularly the primary suspension extending between the axle box and the bogie frame.
