Description

La présente invention concerne un bogie pour véhicule ferroviaire selon le préambule de la revendication 1.The present invention relates to a bogie for a railway vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1.

In railway vehicles, it is known to use bogies with their elements placed symmetrically with respect to the median plane. The body arranged on the bogie generally has a symmetrical arrangement of seats.

However, when the body width is narrower, an asymmetrical body layout may be desired. This is, for example, the case in narrow-width trams where it is beneficial to provide fittings in the body with one seat on one side and two seats on the other side separated by a central aisle.

Such asymmetrical bogies are described in the documents EP 2 676 859 A1 and FR 2914 609 A1 .

However, the asymmetrical arrangement of the body on the bogie is difficult if the bogie is symmetrical. One possibility is to reduce the width of the central corridor. As a variant, it is known to provide elevations of the body at the level of the bulky parts of the engine, these elevations cluttering up the central corridor. However, such solutions are not optimal and prevent the passage of people in wheelchairs or strollers in the aisles between the seats.

Consequently, one of the aims of the invention is to propose a bogie allowing good integration of an offset corridor in a railway vehicle while facilitating maintenance of the bogie.

A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un bogie selon la revendication 1.To this end, the subject of the invention is a bogie according to claim 1.

L'invention a également pour objet un véhicule ferroviaire selon la revendication 9.In particular embodiments of the invention, the bogie for a railway vehicle also has one or more of the characteristics of claims 2 to 8, taken separately or in any technically possible combination. The invention also relates to a railway vehicle according to claim 9.

  • la figure 2 est une vue en perspective de dessus du bogie de la figure 1 ;
Other characteristics and advantages will appear on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of example and made with reference to the appended drawings, in which:
  • the figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of a railway vehicle comprising a bogie according to a first embodiment of the invention,
  • the figure 2 is a perspective view from above of the bogie of the figure 1 ;
  • the picture 3 is a schematic representation in plan view of the bogie of the figure 1 and some picture 2 ; and
  • the figure 4 is a view similar to the picture 3 for a second embodiment of the invention.

In the following description, the terms orientation are to be understood with reference to the usual orientation marker of railway vehicles, represented in the Figures, and in which one distinguishes:
  • a longitudinal axis X, oriented from the back to the front,
  • a transverse axis Y, oriented from right to left and defining with the longitudinal axis a horizontal plane, and
  • a vertical axis Z, oriented from bottom to top.

The X, Y and Z axes together forming a direct orthogonal frame of reference, the front and rear being understood relative to the normal direction of movement of the railway vehicle. The term “above” is understood relative to the benchmark defined above.

In the remainder of the application, the expression “to the outside” is understood to mean the outside of the bogie in relation to a plane.

The railway vehicle 1 comprises a body 2 and at least one bogie 4.

La caisse 2 est allongée suivant une direction principale A. La direction principale A s'étend selon la direction longitudinale X.The body 2 is elongated in a main direction A. The main direction A extends in the longitudinal direction X.

The body 2 is provided with a body frame 6. The body frame 6 is arranged above the bogie 4 and is articulated with respect to the bogie 4. In the rest position of the bogie 4, as represented on the figure 1 , the bogie 4 is centered with respect to the body frame 6, that is to say that the median plane P'm of the body frame 6 and the median plane Pm of the bogie 4 coincide.

The body frame 6 comprises a first raised part 8 located on a first side 10 of the median plane P'm of the body frame 6, a second raised part 12 located on a second side 14 of the median plane P'm of the body frame body 6, and a lower part 16 located between the first raised part 8 and the second raised part 12.

La première partie surélevée 8 est plus large que la deuxième partie surélevée 12.The first raised part 8 is wider than the second raised part 12.

La partie basse 16 forme un couloir de circulation 18 parallèle à la direction principale A. Le couloir de circulation 18 est décalé transversalement vers le deuxième côté 14 par rapport au plan longitudinal médian P'm du châssis de caisse 6.The lower part 16 forms a circulation corridor 18 parallel to the main direction A. The circulation corridor 18 is offset transversely towards the second side 14 with respect to the median longitudinal plane P'm of the body frame 6.

La caisse 2 définit un espace intérieur 20 d'accueil des passagers délimité vers le bas par le châssis de caisse 6.The body 2 defines an interior space 20 for receiving passengers delimited at the bottom by the body frame 6.

In addition, the body 2 comprises in the interior space 20 a plurality of seats 22 fixed to the body frame 6.

A.The seats 22 are, for example, arranged in several rows 24. Each row 24 extends in a transverse direction B extending perpendicularly to the main direction A. For example, the seats 22 are oriented such that the seated passengers on seats 22 look in the main direction A.

As shown on the figure 1 , a row 24 comprises two seats 22 above the first raised part 8 and a seat 22 above the second raised part 12. Advantageously, the row 24 does not include a seat 22 at the level of the lower part 16 of so as to leave the traffic lane 18 unobstructed.

Dans un exemple, la largeur de la caisse 2 est, par exemple, supérieure ou égale à 2400 mm et inférieur à 2650 mm et la largeur du couloir de circulation 18 est d'environ 720 mm.In one example, the width of the box 2 is, for example, greater than or equal to 2400 mm and less than 2650 mm and the width of the passageway 18 is approximately 720 mm.

The bogie 4 is linked to the body 2 and is arranged under the body frame 6. The bogie 4 is able to support the body 2 and to guide the railway vehicle 1 during the movement of the railway vehicle 1 along a rail.

With reference to figure 2 and 3 , the bogie 4 comprises a frame 24, a first front wheel 26, a first rear wheel 28, a second front wheel 30, a second rear wheel 32, a motor 34, a front axle 36 secured to the front wheels 26, 30, a rear axle 38 integral with rear wheels 28, 32 and, for each axle 36, 38, a first primary suspension member 40, 42 and a second primary suspension member 44, 46.

Le bogie 4 comprend, en outre, au moins deux dispositif de suspension secondaire 52, 53 dudit bogie 4 par rapport à la caisse 2.The bogie 4 further comprises a front reducer 48 coupling the front axle 36 to the motor 34 and a rear reducer 50 coupling the rear axle 38 to the motor 34. The bogie 4 further comprises, at least two secondary suspension device 52, 53 of said bogie 4 relative to body 2.

The frame 24 has a first side 54 and a second side 56 opposite the first side 54, the first side 54 and the second side 56 being separated from each other by the median longitudinal plane Pm of the frame 24. The longitudinal plane median Pm is equidistant from the two front wheels 26, 30 and equidistant from the two rear wheels 28, 32.

The frame 24 comprises, for example, two longitudinal beams 58 extending substantially parallel to each other on each side 54, 56 and a transverse crossmember 60. The transverse crossmember 60 connects the two longitudinal members 58 to each other. 'other.

La traverse transversale 60 est surbaissée de façon à permettre le passage du couloir central 18.In the example shown on the figure 2 and 3 , the transverse crosspiece 60 is located halfway between the front wheels 26, 30 and the rear wheels 28, 32 of the bogie 4. This cross beam 60 is a central cross beam. The transverse crosspiece 60 is lowered so as to allow the passage of the central corridor 18.

The first front wheel 26 and the first rear wheel 28 are located on the first side 54 of the bogie 4. The first front wheel 26 and the first rear wheel 28 extend substantially in a common first longitudinal plane P1.

Here and in the following, when reference is made to elements "extending in a plane", it is understood that said plane constitutes a median plane of said elements. When elements extend "substantially" in a plane, it is understood that these elements comprise a median plane substantially parallel to said plane, the distance from the center of the element to the plane being less than approximately 5 mm.

The second front wheel 30 and the second rear wheel 32 are located on the second side 56 of the bogie 4. The second front wheel 30 and the second rear wheel 32 extend substantially in a common second longitudinal plane P2.

The first front wheel 26 and the second front wheel 30 are coaxial, spaced transversely from each other. Similarly the rear wheels 28, 32 are coaxial, spaced transversely from each other. The front wheels 26, 30 are longitudinally spaced from the rear wheels 28, 32.

The frame 24 has a substantially horizontal longitudinal median plane and parallel to the rolling plane Pr for example.

The motor 34 is arranged on the first side 54 of the bogie 4 and is fixed to the frame 24. The motor 34 is integral with the spar 58 located on the first side 54. In addition, the motor 34 is advantageously housed in a shell 61 serving as a structural part to frame 24.

Le moteur 34 s'étend suivant un axe longitudinal C entre la première roue avant 26 et la première roue arrière 28.Motor 34 extends along a longitudinal axis C between first front wheel 26 and first rear wheel 28.

Le moteur 34 est équidistant de l'essieu avant 36 et de l'essieu arrière 38.Motor 34 is equidistant from front axle 36 and rear axle 38.

Par exemple, l'axe longitudinal C du moteur 34 est plus proche du premier plan longitudinal P1 que du plan médian Pm.For example, the longitudinal axis C of the motor 34 is closer to the first longitudinal plane P1 than to the median plane Pm.

Each axle 36, 38 comprises an axle bar 62. This axle bar 62 connects between them the two wheels 26, 28, 30, 32 associated with the axle 36, 38.

Each axle bar 62 extends transversely relative to the frame 24. Advantageously, the front and rear axle bars 62 extend in a plane substantially parallel to a median transverse plane (not shown) of the central crossmember 60.

Each of the front 36 and rear 38 axles is rotatably mounted relative to the frame 24 via at least one axle box 64, 66. In the example shown, these axle boxes 64, 66 are numbered two per axle 36, 38 and comprise, for each axle 36, 38, a first axle box 64 on the first side 54 and a second axle box 66 on the second side 56.

Each first axle box 64 further comprises a casing 65 in which is housed the or each bearing 63.

Chaque essieu 36, 38 traverse la première et la deuxième boîtes d'essieu 64, 66 associées et est guidé en rotation à l'intérieur de celles-ci par leurs paliers 63.Each axle 36, 38 passes through the associated first and second axle boxes 64, 66 and is guided in rotation inside them by their bearings 63.

In the example shown on the figure 2 and 3 , the box 65 of the first axle box 64 before is located on the first side, longitudinally in the continuity of the motor 34 and along the first front wheel 26.

In the example shown on the figure 2 and 3 , the box 65 of the first rear axle box 64 is located on the first side, longitudinally in the continuity of the motor 34 and along the first rear wheel 28.

With reference to the Figure 3 , the front 48 and rear 50 reducers are mounted on the frame 24 of the bogie 4 and are independent of the body 2. In the example shown, the front reducer 48 and the rear reducer 50 are aligned longitudinally, the motor 34 being placed longitudinally between the front reducer 48 and the rear reducer 50. The front reducer 48 is in particular located on the first side 54 in the continuity of the motor 34, and the rear reducer 50 is located on the first side 54 in the continuity of the motor 34.

The front reducer 48 transmits the torque from the motor 34 to the front axle 36, this driving the first front wheel 26 and the second front wheel 28. Similarly, the rear reducer 50 transmits the torque from the motor 34 to the rear axle 38 this driving the two rear wheels 28, 32.

The front reducer 48 and the rear reducer 50 are chosen so as to drive the front 26, 28 and rear 30, 32 wheels in the same direction of rotation.

The front reducer 48 is housed in the housing 65 of the first axle box 64 before and the rear reducer 50 is housed in the housing 65 of the first axle box 64 rear.

The front reducer 48 extends in a front reducer plane P3 and the rear reducer 50 extends in a rear reducer plane P4. Advantageously, the front reducer plane P3 and the rear reducer plane P4 are substantially coincident.

En variante encore, l'axe longitudinal C du moteur 34 s'étend à l'extérieur des plans P3 et P4.In the example shown, the longitudinal axis C of motor 34 extends substantially in said planes P3 and P4. Alternatively, said longitudinal axis C extends only substantially in the plane P3 of the front reducer 48, the axis C then being typically outside the plane P4 of the rear reducer 50, or only substantially in the plane P4 of the rear reducer 50, the axis C outside the plane P3 of the front reducer 48. As a further variant, the longitudinal axis C of the motor 34 extends outside the planes P3 and P4.

Il est, en outre, sensiblement confondu avec le plan transversal médian de la traverse centrale 60.The front 48 and rear 50 reducers are advantageously symmetrical with respect to each other with respect to a median transverse plane P5 of the front wheels 26, 28 and rear wheels 30, 32. This median transverse plane P5 is equidistant from the axes of respective rotation of the first front wheel 26 and of the first rear wheel 28. It is also equidistant from the respective axes of rotation of the second front wheel 30 and of the second rear wheel 32. It is, moreover, substantially coincident with the plane median transverse of the central crosspiece 60.

Chaque organe de suspension primaire 40, 42, 44, 46 est propre à suspendre l'essieu 36, 38 associé par rapport au châssis 24.Each primary suspension member 40, 42, 44, 46 connects an axle 36, 38 to the frame 24. Each primary suspension member 40, 42, 44, 46 is suitable for suspending the associated axle 36, 38 with respect to the frame 24 .

Le deuxième organe de suspension primaire 46 de l'essieu arrière 38 est situé du deuxième côté 56 et associé à la deuxième roue arrière 32.The first primary suspension member 40 of the front axle 36 is located on the first side 54 and associated with the first front wheel 26. The first primary suspension member 42 of the rear axle 38 is located on the first side 54 and associated with the first rear wheel 28. The second primary suspension member 44 of the front axle 36 is located on the second side 56 and associated with the second front wheel 30. The second primary suspension member 46 of the rear axle 38 is located on the second side 56 and associated with the second rear wheel 32.

Each primary suspension member 40, 42, 44, 46 allows a vertical movement of the associated wheel 26, 28, 30, 32 to move the wheel 26, 28, 30, 32 beyond the rolling plane Pr defined by the three other wheels 26, 28, 30, 32. Such primary suspension members 40, 42, 44, 46 thus allow the railway vehicle 1 to overcome cants provided on the outer rail at a bend in the track.

Un tel organe de suspension primaire est dit du type « boîte à bras ».According to the invention, each primary suspension member 40, 42, 44, 46 comprises an arm 70 articulated to the frame 24 and to the axle 36, 38, and an elastic member 72 interposed between the arm 70 and the frame 24. A such a primary suspension member is said to be of the “arm box” type.

Ce premier axe transversal A1 est avantageusement parallèle à la traverse 60.The articulation to the frame 24 is in particular a pivot connection around a first transverse axis A1; thus, the articulated arm 70 is pivotally mounted around the frame 24 with respect to the first transverse axis A1. This first transverse axis A1 is advantageously parallel to the crosspiece 60.

The connection to the axle 36, 38 is itself formed by the bearing 63 of one of the axle boxes 64, 66 and adapted to leave a degree of freedom in rotation around a second transverse axis A2; thus, the articulated arm 70 is pivotally mounted with respect to the axle 36, 38 associated around the second transverse axis A2. This second transverse axis A2 is advantageously parallel to the axis of the axle bar 62 associated.

La deuxième branche 76 s'étend en particulier sensiblement dans le prolongement du pied 71, et la deuxième branche 76 s'étend sensiblement perpendiculairement audit pied 71.Back to the Figure 2 , the articulated arm 70 here has the shape of a Y comprising a foot 71, a first branch 74 and a second branch 76. The second branch 76 extends in particular substantially in the extension of the foot 71, and the second branch 76 extends substantially perpendicular to said foot 71.

Le deuxième axe transversal A2 traverse le pied 71.The first transverse axis A1 passes through the first branch 74. The second transverse axis A2 passes through the foot 71.

The first branch 74 comprises, for example, a stirrup, the stirrup framing the end of a spar 58 of the frame 24. The first transverse axis A1 passes through this stirrup.

The arm 70 of the first primary suspension member 40 of the front axle 36 comprises the box 65 of the first axle box 64 before, said box 65 forming the foot 71 and the second branch 76 of said arm 70.

Le bras 70 du premier organe de suspension primaire 42 de l'essieu arrière 38 comprend le boitier 65 de la première boite d'essieu 64 arrière, ledit boîtier 65 formant le pied 71 et la deuxième branche 76 dudit bras 70.The arm 70 of the first primary suspension member 42 of the rear axle 38 comprises the casing 65 of the first rear axle casing 64, the said casing 65 forming the foot 71 and the second branch 76 of the said arm 70.

L'organe élastique 72 est disposé à distance du premier axe transversal A1 et du deuxième axe transversal A2.The elastic member 72 is arranged at a distance from the first transverse axis A1 and from the second transverse axis A2.

The elastic member 72 is, for example, a sandwich comprising a plurality of layers of an elastic material and a plurality of metal plates interposed between the layers of elastic material and adherent to the elastic layers, said layers being arranged successively to each other. along the longitudinal direction X.

Il se situe au-dessus du plan de roulement Pr.The elastic member 72 is arranged on the second branch 76 of the arm 70. It is located above the running surface Pr.

Avantageusement, la hauteur de chaque organe élastique 72, c'est-à-dire sa distance au plan de roulement Pr, est sensiblement la même pour tous les organes élastiques 72.Advantageously, the height of each elastic member 72, that is to say its distance from the rolling plane Pr, is substantially the same for all the elastic members 72.

As shown on the figure 2 , for the first primary suspension members 40, 42, located on the first side 54, the height of the elastic member 72 is adapted to be substantially at the height of the engine 34.

Il est en particulier pris en sandwich entre la coque 61 et le bras 70 dudit premier organe de suspension primaire 40, 42 en étant en appui contre ladite coque 61 et ledit bras 70.The elastic member 72 of each first primary suspension member 40, 42 is located between the motor 34 and the arm 70 of said first primary suspension member 40, 42. It is in particular sandwiched between the shell 61 and the arm 70 of said first primary suspension member 40, 42 bearing against said shell 61 and said arm 70.

Du premier côté 54, cette pièce d'appui est formée par la coque 61.On each side of the median plane Pm, the frame 24 comprises a support piece 80 for the elastic members 72. This support piece 80 is integral with the frame 24 and extends above the plane of the central crosspiece 60. It has two longitudinal ends, each being linked to the elastic member 72 of a primary suspension member 40, 42, 44, 46 respectively. On the first side 54, this support piece is formed by the shell 61.

The first secondary suspension device 52 is positioned outside the first longitudinal plane P1 and the second secondary suspension device 53 is positioned outside the second longitudinal plane P2.

In addition, the bogie 4 includes a brake 82 for each axle 36, 38. Advantageously, the brakes 82 are arranged on opposite sides 54, 56 of the bogie 4. As shown in the figure 2 and 3 , a brake 82 is located along the first rear wheel 28 outside the first longitudinal plane P1 and a brake 82 is located along the second front wheel 32 outside the second longitudinal plane P2.

In a variant shown in the figure 4 , the bogie 100 comprises two motors 102, 104 extending longitudinally in continuity with one another. Each motor 102, 104 is arranged on the first side 54 and is fixed to the frame 24. Each motor 102, 104 extends along a longitudinal axis C between the first front wheel 26 and the first rear wheel 28.

Each axle 36, 38 is coupled to a respective motor 102, 104. The front motor 102 is associated with the front axle 36 by means of the front reducer 48 and the rear motor is associated with the rear axle 38 by means of the rear reducer 50.

Thanks to this invention, the bogie 4, 100 is more compact compared to bogies with central transverse motors. In addition, the asymmetrical configuration of the bogie 4, 100 allows good integration of the offset corridor 18 in the body 2. In addition, the use of primary suspensions 40, 42, 44, 46 of the same type on each side 54, 56 allows to facilitate the maintenance of the bogie 4, 100 and the balancing of the loads at the level of the wheels 26, 28, 30, 32. In addition, such primary suspensions 40, 42, 44, 46 of the asymmetrical bogie 4 allow it to cross the cant causing a left track while maintaining good balance, which improves rolling safety.
