Claims (13)

  1. Household appliance (1) with a housing (2) and a machine compartment (6) which is embodied in a bottom (5) and a rear (7) region of the housing (2), wherein the machine compartment (6) is delimited by at least one side wall (8) of the housing (2), and with an electronic module (9), which is arranged on the side wall (8) in the machine compartment (6), wherein an earthing contact (24) is arranged on a housing (10) of the electronic module (9), which is connected to an electrically conductive sub-element (17a) of the side wall (8) in a manner in which it is electrically conductive and mechanically clamped, characterised in that the housing (10) of the electronic module (9), in particular a rear wall (25) of the housing (10), is connected to a rear part (17) of the side wall (8) with a screw connection.
  2. Household appliance (1) according to claim 1, characterised in that the earthing contact (24) is embodied as a contact tongue oriented in a width direction (x) of the household appliance (1).
  3. Household appliance (1) according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the sub-element (17a) of the side wall (8) is oriented in the width direction (x) of the household appliance (1) in a self-supporting manner.

Household appliance (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that, in the clamped state, the sub-element (17a) is pressed into a gap (3) of a rear coupling facility (16) of the housing (10) and is held therein by way of clamping, wherein the coupling facility (16) has the earthing contact (24).

Method for the mounting an electronic module (9) on a side wall (8), which delimits a machine compartment (6) of a household appliance (1), in which the electronic module (9) is positioned in the machine compartment (6) and a housing (10) of the electronic module (9) is coupled to the side wall (8), such that thereby an interim mounting position is generated, wherein the electronic module (9) is brought on a mounting path from the interim mounting position into an end position, wherein, on this mounting path, an earthing contact (24) of the electronic module (9) is connected to an electrically conductive sub-element (17a) of the side wall (8) in a manner in which it is electrically conductive and mechanically clamped, wherein a self-supporting prefixing position of the electronic module (9) on the side wall (8) is generated by way of the clamping connection, prior to final mounting of the electronic module (9) on this side wall (8), wherein, thereafter, for setting the prefixing position, an additional screw connection is generated between the housing (10) and the side wall (8), in particular in the region of the clamping connection.
  13. Method according to claim 12, characterised in that the housing (10) of the electronic module (9) is pivoted on the mounting path, which pivoting automatically generates the clamping connection.
