Description

Domaine technique de l'inventionTechnical field of the invention

The invention relates to a mechanism for a receptacle for applying a cosmetic product, in particular a lipstick stick, and a receptacle comprising such a mechanism.

L'invention concerne également un procédé d'obtention d'un tel mécanisme. The invention also relates to a method for obtaining such a mechanism.

Arrière-plan techniqueTechnical background

Un tel réceptacle est connu du document JP H08 19422 A .Conventionally, the receptacles for applying a cosmetic product, in particular a stick of lipstick, comprise a mechanism making it possible to move the cosmetic product between a retracted position and an application position in which the cosmetic product is capable of be applied by rubbing. Such a receptacle is known from the document JP H08 19422 A .

The actuation of the mechanism is generally controlled manually by applying a rotational movement to the base of the receptacle, which rotational movement is transmitted to the mechanism to cause the axial displacement of a cup comprising the cosmetic product.

This type of mechanism generally comprises at least one envelope, also called a sleeve, fitted onto a sheath participating in the movement of the cosmetic product. The envelope is a visible aesthetic part, since it extends out of the base of the receptacle inside which the rest of the mechanism is housed.

Conventionally, the casing and the sheath are made in the form of two separate parts for which it is possible to freely choose the material. In such a design, the two parts must be integrally connected to each other.

Typically a metallic material, such as anodized aluminum, is chosen for the casing and a plastic material is chosen for the sheath of the mechanism.

The metallic material of the casing makes it possible to mount it on the sheath by crimping, punching or gluing, which are techniques with the advantage to simultaneously ensure an axial connection and a connection in rotation between the casing and the sheath.

On the other hand, the presence of two different materials, metallic and plastic, has drawbacks, in particular during recycling where the two parts must be separated.

It is also possible to make the casing and the sheath of the mechanism both of plastic material.

The assembly of the two parts can then be done by tightening but very often this is not sufficient, in particular at the level of the axial connection.

Another solution to assemble the two pieces is the technique of gluing. However, the use of glue induces risks of pollution of the cosmetic product by the glue, the quantity and distribution of which it is difficult to control with great precision during assembly.

The object of the invention is in particular to propose a new mechanism design making it possible to solve at least some of the drawbacks of the state of the art while having a connection between the casing and the sheath which is advantageously simple, reliable and economic.

Résumé de l'inventionSummary of the invention

  • au moins une gaine en matière plastique comprenant intérieurement au moins une rainure hélicoïdale ;
  • un guide comprenant une molette destinée à permettre la mise en rotation du guide, la molette étant destinée à être liée en rotation à la base ;
Thus, the invention relates to a mechanism intended to be mounted on an actuation base of a receptacle for applying a cosmetic product, the mechanism being designed to cause the cosmetic product to come out by at least one rotational movement, characterized in that said mechanism comprises:

  • a guide comprising a wheel intended to allow the rotation of the guide, the wheel being intended to be connected in rotation to the base;
  • a plastic casing outside the sheath, the casing and the sheath being fused at at least one point, called assembly point, so as to be integral in rotation and in translation. In other words, the casing and the sheath, hitherto two distinct parts, no longer form a single single part and are connected, united in a definitive manner at the level of at least one assembly point. This is in particular permitted by a mixture of the plastic materials of the casing and of the sheath at the level of the assembly point.

Description détaillée de l'inventionDetailed description of the invention

By convention, the "axial" direction corresponds to that of main extension of the receptacle, illustrated by the axis A in the figures, and the "radial" direction is orthogonal to the axial direction.

In the detailed description of the figures which follows, the terms “upper” and “lower” or even “top” and “bottom” will be used in a non-limiting manner with reference to the axial direction.

Similarly, the terms “outer or outer” and “inner or inner” are used with reference to the radial direction, an outer member being radially farther from axis A than an inner member.

In the remainder of the description, elements having an identical structure or analogous functions will be designated by the same references.

In the exemplary embodiment, the cosmetic product is a stick 12 of cosmetic product and more particularly, the stick 12 of cosmetic product is a stick of lipstick intended to be applied by rubbing, as a variant a lip care balm.

The receptacle 10 comprises at least one cover 14 which is associated with an actuation base 16 having a complementary shape, the base 16 and the cover 14 together defining an external contour of the receptacle 10.

The receptacle 10 further comprises a mechanism 20 for dispensing the stick 12 of cosmetic product.

In a non-limiting way, the cover 14, the base 16 of the receptacle 10 and the mechanism 20 have a cylindrical shape of circular section.

The cover 14 is capable of occupying at least one open position in which the cover 14 is separated from the base 16 with a view in particular to allowing the application of the cosmetic product and a closed position in which the cover 14 is secured to base 16 ( figure 1 ).

The lower part of the cover 14 comprises inside at least one annular bead 18 which is intended to cooperate with an outer cylindrical surface of the mechanism 20.

Avantageusement, le bourrelet 18 annulaire assure le maintien du capot 14 en position de fermeture et participe à l'obtention d'une fermeture étanche à l'air afin de garantir une bonne conservation du bâton 12 de produit cosmétique, en cours d'utilisation du mécanisme 20.Advantageously, the annular bead 18 keeps the cover 14 in the closed position and contributes to obtaining an airtight closure in order to guarantee good preservation of the stick 12 of cosmetic product, during use of the mechanism 20.

The cover 14 comprises a lower edge 19 which is capable of coming into abutment against an upper edge 17 of the base 16 for actuation in the closed position.

In one embodiment, not shown, the base 16 may comprise a shoulder which extends radially at the level of the connection of the upper part of the base 16 with a lower part of larger diameter. The lower edge of the cover 14 is then capable of coming into abutment against said shoulder in the closed position.

Un exemple de réalisation du mécanisme 20 est illustré à la figure 2.An example embodiment of the mechanism 20 is illustrated in picture 2 .

The mechanism 20 has a main axis which extends in the axial direction, coinciding with the main axis A of the receptacle 10.

The mechanism 20 is intended to be mounted, removably or not, on an actuation base 16, for example the actuation base 16 of the receptacle 10 for cosmetic product described above.

In the case of a removable mechanism 20, it is intended to be able to be changed, in particular but not exclusively after the complete use of the stick 12 of cosmetic product.

The mechanism 20 and its entry and/or exit mechanism for the stick 12 of cosmetic product described below are given by way of non-limiting example only.

In the exemplary embodiment, the mechanism 20 comprises an internal guide 22 whose rotation relative to an external sheath 24 causes an axial movement of a cup 26 carrying the stick 12 of cosmetic product allowing entry and/or release of the stick 12 of cosmetic product.

The cup 26 comprises at least one lug (not visible), preferably two diametrically opposed lugs.

The lugs cooperate respectively with slideways 25 of guide 22, said slideways 25 extending axially in a rectilinear manner. Each slide 25 advantageously comprises, at each of its upper and lower ends, an angular notch 25a forming an end stop for the lugs of the cup 26.

The sheath 24 surrounds the guide 22. The sheath 24 internally comprises two helical grooves 27 with which the free end of the lugs respectively cooperate, each lug radially passing through the associated slideway 25 of the guide 22 to engage in a groove 27.

Plus particulièrement, l'enveloppe 28 recouvre presque totalement la gaine 24, à l'exception d'un tronçon inférieur de la gaine 24.The mechanism 20 again comprises here an envelope 28, also called a sleeve or even a sleeve. As depicted at picture 2 , the casing 28 surrounds the sheath 24 on the outside. More particularly, the casing 28 almost completely covers the sheath 24, with the exception of a lower section of the sheath 24.

According to the invention, the envelope 28 and the sheath 24 are made of plastic material.

The plastic material of the casing 28 and the plastic material of the sheath 24 can be chosen from polypropylene and/or polyethylene terephthalate.

The envelope 28 and the sheath 24 can be in the same plastic material or in two different plastic materials. Preferably, the envelope 28 and the sheath 24 are made of the same plastic material.

Advantageously, cup 26 and/or guide 22 are also provided in plastic chosen from polypropylene and/or polyethylene terephthalate.

Thus, advantageously, all the parts of the mechanism 20 are made of plastic chosen from polypropylene and/or polyethylene terephthalate.

The plastic parts can be easily obtained by injection and lead to a light mechanism.

In addition, the plastic materials can be tinted thus guaranteeing the aesthetic quality.

Furthermore, the use of plastic materials, in particular similar plastic materials for the whole of the mechanism 20 makes it possible to facilitate recycling. In particular, polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate are two plastic materials whose recycling cycle is well known.

Advantageously, the cover 14 and/or the base 16 are also made of plastic chosen from polypropylene and/or polyethylene terephthalate. The cover 14 and the base 16 can be in the same plastic material or in two different plastic materials. Preferably, the cover 14 and the base 16 are made of the same plastic material.

Advantageously, the entire receptacle 10, that is to say the entire mechanism 20, as well as the cover 14 and the base 16 are made of plastic chosen from polypropylene and/or polyethylene terephthalate, in particular in the same plastic material.

Here again, the use of plastic materials, in particular similar plastic materials for the assembly of the receptacle 10 makes it easier to obtain parts which can be easily obtained by injection and lead to a light receptacle 10 .

In addition, the plastics can be tinted and thus guarantee an aesthetic quality.

Furthermore, the use of plastic materials, in particular similar plastic materials for the whole of the mechanism 20 makes it possible to facilitate recycling. In particular, polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate are two plastic materials whose recycling cycle is well known.

The wheel 30 is located axially at the lower end of the guide 22.

En variante, la molette 30 est réalisée venue de matière, en une seule pièce, avec le guide 22 du mécanisme 20The wheel 30 is intended to allow the rotation of the guide 22 causing, depending on the direction of rotation, an axial upward or downward movement of the cup 26 and in doing so of the stick 12 of cosmetic product. In this embodiment, the knurl 30 is a separate piece attached to the guide 22. Alternatively, the knurl 30 is made in one piece, with the guide 22 of the mechanism 20

In a variant embodiment, the casing 28 and/or the sheath 24 are extended axially beyond the wheel, in order to prevent or at the very least make it difficult to access said wheel 30. Such a configuration makes it possible to limit the actuation of the mechanism 20 by a user even before said mechanism 20 has been associated with the corresponding base 16.

La molette 30 est ainsi destinée à être liée en rotation avec la base 16 lorsque le mécanisme 20 est monté sur la base 16.Consequently, the knob 30 and the base 16 must on the one hand be connected axially together and, on the other hand, be connected in rotation to ensure the transmission to the knob 30 of the mechanism 20 of any rotational movement applied to the base. 16. The wheel 30 is thus intended to be connected in rotation with the base 16 when the mechanism 20 is mounted on the base 16.

For this, the actuating base 16 comprises fastening means for axially connecting the actuating base 16 with the wheel 30 of the mechanism 20.

The fixing means comprise four lugs 32 which extend axially upwards from a lower part of the base 16 for actuation.

The four legs 32 of the actuating base 16 are angularly distributed in a regular manner, ie at 90°. The lugs 32 are inserted into a complementary orifice which is formed centrally in the knob 30 of the mechanism 20. Advantageously the lugs 32 are flexible.

The free end of each lug 32 is configured to form a hook 34 which cooperates with an upper edge 36 of the orifice of the knob 30 in order to axially block the base 16 for actuation.

Les pattes 32 de fixation permettent de lier axialement la base 16 d'actionnement à la molette 30 du mécanisme 20.The fixing lugs 32 make it possible to axially link the actuating base 16 to the wheel 30 of the mechanism 20.

The locking in rotation of the wheel 30 and the base is achieved by a complementary notching of the wheel 30 and the lugs 32, that is to say a set of grooves 38 which extend axially, parallel to each other. on an inner surface of the wheel 30 and on the outer surface of the legs 32 of the base 16.

In such a mechanism 20, the casing 28 and the sheath 24 are integral in rotation and in translation.

For this, according to the invention, the casing 28 and the sheath 24 being both made of plastic material, they are fused at at least one point, called assembly point 40.

Advantageously, in the embodiment represented here, the mechanism 20 comprises two assembly points 40 diametrically opposed.

The two assembly points 40 are arranged on a lower portion of the envelope 28 and of the sheath 24 opposite an upper portion comprising an opening 42 through which the cosmetic product can come out.

Thus, the two assembly points 40 are visible on an outer surface 44 of the envelope 28.

In particular, in the embodiment shown here, each of the assembly points 40 is arranged both on the outer surface 44 of the casing 28 and on an outer surface 46 of the sheath 24.

The assembly point 40 is in the form of a hollow triangle having an upper apex 48 (that is to say an apex directed towards the upper portion comprising the opening) rounded.

Advantageously, the at least one assembly point 40 is obtained by a method for obtaining it comprising a step in which the at least one assembly point 40 is obtained by welding, such as for example thermal punching.

The thermal punching can be obtained by the application, the striking of at least one thermally regulated punch on the external and/or internal surfaces of the casing 28 and/or of the sheath 24. The application time of the punch(es) is defined according to the size of the mechanism 20, the type of plastic material, the thickness of the casing 28 and/or the sheath 24, the final level of fusion between the casing 28 and the sheath 24 desired.

To obtain the embodiment represented, two diametrically opposed punches in the shape of a triangle were struck on the external surfaces 44, 46 of the casing 28 and of the sheath 24.

Thus, the envelope 28 and the sheath 24 are fused by heating and pressure of a zone forming the assembly point 40. In other words, in this zone, the plastic materials of the envelope 28 and of the sheath 24 melt under heat and combine to form the assemblage point 40, particularly once the area has cooled. The pressure exerted during the punching makes it possible to create a mark forming the assembly point 40.

La fusion de l'enveloppe 28 et de la gaine 24 peut être détectée par un mélange des matières de la gaine 24 et de l'enveloppe 28.The fusion of the envelope 28 and the sheath 24 can be detected by a mixture of the materials of the sheath 24 and the envelope 28.

In the case of an envelope 28 and a sheath 24 of different colors, the assembly point 40 may have a difference in color compared to the rest of the envelope 28 and the sheath 24 due to the mixture of the two materials. plastics. The assembly point 40 is thus viewable. This change of color is particularly visible when the assembly point 40 is located on the outer surfaces 44, 46 of the envelope 28 and of the sheath 24. This difference in hue is particularly visible in the zone of the envelope 28 adjacent to the sheath 24 and in the area of sheath 24 adjacent to casing 28.

The assembly point 40 can also be viewed by a mark in the form of a hollow left by the punching on the external surface 44 of the envelope 28 and/or on the external surface 46 of the sheath 24.

In the case of a plurality of assembly points 40, these can be distributed around the periphery of the envelope 28, as shown here with two assembly points 40.

Les points d'assemblage 40 peuvent aussi être répartis sur toute la hauteur de l'enveloppe 28 (non représenté).The assembly points 40 can also be distributed over the entire height of the envelope 28 (not shown).

La répartition peut être régulière ou aléatoire. The distribution can be regular or random.

In another embodiment not shown, the mechanism 20 may also include a single assembly point 40.

In the embodiment represented here, the casing 28 is also held on the sheath 24 by means of at least one extra thickness 50 of material located between the sheath 24 and the casing 28 so that the sheath 24 and the casing 28 are integral at least in translation. The casing 28 and the sheath 24 are then force-fitted one on the other, making it possible to improve their retention, in particular against tearing and rotation relative to each other. Furthermore, the use of an extra thickness 50 of material between the casing 28 and the sheath 24, in other words in an internal zone of the mechanism 20 makes it possible to maintain a good visual aesthetic of the mechanism 20.

Thus, the extra thickness 50 of material can be located on an internal surface 52 of the casing 28 (embodiment shown here) or on the external surface 46 of the sheath 24 (not shown) or even on the internal surface 52 of the envelope 28 and on the outer surface 46 of the sheath 24 (not shown). It may be, for example, a single extra thickness 50 . Advantageously, in this case it is, for example, an extra thickness 50 which extends over the entire periphery of the internal surface 52 of the casing 28 and/or of the external surface 46 of the sheath 24, such as a bead.

The mechanism 20 can also comprise a plurality of extra thicknesses 50 of material distributed over the inner surface 52 of the casing 28 and/or over the outer surface 46 of the sheath 24.

Les surépaisseurs 50 de matières peuvent être des points discrets répartis sur toute la surface interne 52 de l'enveloppe 28 et/ou de la surface externe 46 de la gaine 24.The extra thicknesses 50 of materials can be discrete points distributed over the entire internal surface 52 of the casing 28 and/or of the external surface 46 of the sheath 24.

The extra thicknesses 50 of material can also be discrete points distributed over the entire periphery of the internal surface 52 of the casing 28 and/or of the external surface 46 of the sheath 24, so as to form, for example, a discontinuous bead.

They may also be extra thicknesses 50 extending over the entire periphery of the internal surface 52 of the casing 28 and/or of the external surface 46 of the sheath 24, such as beads.

In the embodiment represented here, the at least one extra thickness 50 of material is two beads 50 of material arranged on the periphery of the internal surface 52 of the casing 28 at the level of the lower portion of the casing 28 and of the sheath 24 where the two assembly points 40 mentioned above are located.

Unlike known techniques, such as clamping or gluing, the presence of an extra thickness between the casing and the sheath and/or the fusion between these two parts allows a connection between the casing and the sheath which is advantageously simple, reliable and economical.

Indeed, the assembly of the two parts can be done by tightening but very often this is not sufficient, in particular at the level of the axial connection.

Another solution to assemble the two pieces is the technique of gluing. However, the use of glue when the two parts are assembled by gluing, induces risks of pollution of the cosmetic product by the glue, the quantity and distribution of which it is difficult to control with great precision during assembly.
