Description
The invention relates to a vehicle for loosening and sucking off impurities from sewers and sludge pits. Such vehicles are generally referred to as sewer cleaning vehicles. To clean a canal, a high-pressure hose and a suction hose are inserted into the canal. Water is pumped into the canal through the high-pressure hose; this water is also used to propel the high-pressure hose into the canal. By pulling the high-pressure hose backwards through the channel, the water escaping backwards through a nozzle of the high-pressure hose can clean dirt adhering to the channel wall. The accumulated sludge components are then sucked through the suction hose into a storage tank of the sewer cleaning vehicle.

Proceeding from this prior art, the invention is based on the object of specifying an improved sewer cleaning vehicle that allows a cassette compartment as a storage device for the suction hose and still covers the largest possible work area.
The sewer cleaning vehicle according to the invention is given by the features of main claim 1 . Meaningful developments of the invention are the subject matter of further claims that follow this claim.
The vehicle according to the invention for loosening and sucking up contaminants from sewers and sludge pits has a pivoting telescopic boom which can be positioned over the opening of the sewer or sludge pit. A high-pressure hose can be wound and unwound on a hose reel. The high-pressure hose can be guided out of the vehicle approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and into the telescopic boom. A suction hose is stored in a storage device on the vehicle so that it can be transported in and out. The high-pressure hose and the suction hose are routed together in the telescopic boom. Within the telescopic boom, the high-pressure hose and the suction hose are guided, at least in certain areas, on roller bodies, at least some of which can be motor-driven. According to the invention, the suction hose is guided into the telescopic boom via a pair of rollers fixed to the vehicle. A first guide rail is pivotably mounted on the pair of rollers fixed to the vehicle, and a second guide rail is pivotably mounted on the telescopic boom. The two guide rails are connected to each other via a sliding block.
If the telescopic boom is in its parking position, the slidably mounted slot nut is present at the end of the guide rails. The two guide rails therefore overlap only minimally, so that the pair of rollers fixed to the vehicle is at a maximum distance from the pivotable mounting of the telescopic boom. In its parking position, the telescopic boom is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and is directed to the rear. When the telescopic boom is pivoted to the left or to the right, the two guide rails overlap more and more as the pivoting angle increases, so that the distance between the pair of rollers fixed to the vehicle and the pivotable mounting of the telescopic boom becomes increasingly shorter.
In this way, a working range of around 270 degrees can be covered by the telescopic boom. The working area can cover both the area immediately behind and the area to the side of the vehicle. Only immediately in front of and next to the vehicle cabin is there an area that cannot be covered by the telescopic boom. In order to be able to clean sewers and sludge pits in this area as well, the sewer cleaning vehicle would only have to be moved forward a little. A cumbersome maneuvering of the sewer cleaning vehicle is not necessary.
A first pair of rollers for the suction hose is fixed in place on the first guide rail. In addition to this, a second pair of rollers for the suction hose is fixed in place on the second guide rail. The first or the second pair of rollers can be fastened in particular to the end region of the respective guide rail remote from the slot nut in order to allow maximum mobility for the suction hose and at the same time ensure safe guidance within the permissible bending radius of the suction hose.
For the operation of the telescopic boom, several hydraulic hoses are regularly required, which must be guided in the telescopic boom together with the suction hose and the high-pressure hose. In order to guide the hydraulic hoses safely into the telescopic boom and to prevent the hydraulic hoses from bending too much, at least one vertically aligned pair of rollers for the hydraulic hoses can be arranged on the first and/or the second pair of rollers for the suction hose. In this case, a plurality of hydraulic hoses can be arranged one above the other and each have a certain mutual distance from one another. This can be made possible by appropriate hose routing. In the pivoting range of the telescopic boom, the hydraulic hoses can then be guided by means of the vertical pairs of rollers, with several hydraulic hoses being able to be guided one above the other through the same pair of rollers. A vertical pair of rollers for the hydraulic hoses can preferably be arranged on both sides of the first and/or the second pair of rollers for the suction hose. This allows the hydraulic hoses to be routed on both sides of the suction hose.
In an embodiment that is particularly simple in terms of construction, the first and/or the second pair of rollers for the suction hose can be rotatably fastened to an upper rail. This upper rail can have an extension on both sides, on each of which a vertically aligned pair of rollers for the hydraulic hoses is rotatably mounted. Preferably, the first and/or the second pair of rollers can be rotatably mounted between an upper and a lower rail in order to optimize the stability of the pairs of rollers for the suction hose.
As an alternative or in addition to the vertically aligned pair of rollers for the hydraulic hoses, the first and/or the second pair of rollers for the suction hose at least one horizontally aligned guide roller for the hydraulic hoses can be arranged. Depending on its position, the horizontally aligned guide roller prevents the hydraulic hoses from moving upwards or downwards. This could lead to the hydraulic hoses snagging on the telescopic boom and thus to malfunctions in the sewer cleaning vehicle. The at least one horizontally aligned guide roller for the hydraulic hoses can in particular be directed towards the telescopic boom and can therefore preferably be arranged on the second pair of rollers for the suction hose.
The hose reel for the high-pressure hose can preferably be arranged in the area immediately behind the driver's cab of the vehicle.
The storage device for the suction hose can basically be designed as a hose reel or as a cassette compartment. When the storage device is designed as a cassette compartment, there can preferably be a substantially flat support for the suction hose, on which the suction hose can be supported with a variable length in the area between the telescopic boom and its end attachment to the tank of the vehicle.
In an advantageous embodiment, the high-pressure hose and the suction hose can be routed one above the other or side by side in the profile of the telescopic boom. By routing both hoses within the profile of the telescopic boom, the vehicle is protected from adhering and entrained dirt from the sewer. If the high-pressure hose and suction hose are arranged one above the other, the profile of the telescopic boom can be kept as small as possible, so that a compact design can be achieved. As an alternative to this, the high-pressure hose and the suction hose can also be guided partially or completely outside the profile of the telescopic boom.
Further advantages and features of the invention can be found in the features also specified in the claims and in the exemplary embodiment below.
