En référence à la figure 1, nous allons décrire un mode de réalisation d'un dispositif applicateur 1. Le dispositif applicateur 1 selon l'invention est, ici, une brosse à mascara. Il comprend, ici, une âme 2 qui s'étend longitudinalement selon un axe longitudinal X. L'âme 2 peut présenter une section transversale constante ou non sur une longueur. Dans des réalisations les plus courantes, soit la section transversale est constante, soit la section transversale diminue depuis une extrémité proximale en prise avec un tube et/ou un manche de préhension jusqu'à une extrémité libre distale. De manière générale, l'âme 2 est de forme globalement cylindrique, de préférence de révolution d'axe l'axe longitudinal X. Ainsi, la section transversale de l'âme 2 peut présenter une forme circulaire, polygonale, ovale ou autre. Elle peut être axisymétrique. L'âme 2 peut être pleine ou creuse. Le picot 110 s'étend donc depuis l'extrémité d'ancrage 11 jusqu'à l'extrémité libre 12, ici globalement dans un plan qui est à la figure 3 la feuille. Depuis l'extrémité d'ancrage 11, le picot 110 selon l'invention comporte un premier tronçon 16 de corps courbé dans un premier sens, puis un deuxième tronçon 18 de corps courbé dans un sens opposé, puis se termine par l'extrémité libre 12. Cela donne une forme en « S » inversé pour le corps du picot 110 selon l'invention tel qu'illustré dans la figure 3. Le premier tronçon 16 de corps est relié au deuxième tronçon 18 de corps au niveau d'une extrémité 20 commune aux deux tronçons de corps. Claims (9)

  1. An applicator device (1; 3; 4; 5; 6) for applying a fluid or pasty product to keratin fibres or to the skin (epidermis), comprising an elongate core (2) extending along a longitudinal axis X and having a longitudinal cylindrical shape, a plurality of spurs (10; 110; 210; 310; 410; 510; 610; 710) distributed on said core, each spur extending from an anchoring end (11) in the core to a free end (12) and being as a single piece with said core, each spur including, at the free end, means (14) for capturing and retaining a quantity of fluid or pasty product, characterised in that, from the anchoring end (11), each spur includes a first body segment (16;216) curved in a first direction, and then a second body segment (18;218;518) curved in an opposite direction, and then terminates at the free end (12), so as to give each spur an inverted "S" shape.
  2. The applicator device according to claim 1, characterised in that the capture and retaining means comprise the second segment (18;218;518) forming a first loop located at the free end of the spur.
  3. The applicator device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that each spur includes a secondary extension (17;717) projectingly extending from the spur, remote from the free end.
  4. The applicator device according to claim 3, characterised in that the capture and retaining means comprise a second loop formed by the secondary extension (17;717).
  5. The applicator device according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the capture and retaining means further include a side lug (19;419;519;619) projectingly extending from said each spur.
  6. The applicator device according to claim 5, characterised in that the side lug is located at one end (20) of the first loop.
  7. The device according to claim 5 or 6, characterised in that the side lug is located between and remote from the ends (12,20) of the first loop.
  8. The applicator device of one of claims 2 to 7, characterised in that the capture and retaining means partly delimit a reservoir (14) for receiving the quantity of fluid or pasty product.
  9. The applicator device according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that each spur includes, at the anchoring end, remote therefrom, second means (13) for capturing and retaining a quantity of fluid or pasty product.
