- Assembly as claimed in Claim 2, characterized in that the pivot link (17) is positioned in contact with the flared end (3), and in that the two parts (15, 16), which are initially positioned on either side of the hose (2), are swung over the latter in order to enclose the flared end (3), provided with the hose clamp (4), and said hose (2).

- Assembly as claimed in Claim 4, characterized in that the centering peg (18) is elongate and has a collar (22), the plane of which is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of said peg (18), and in that said collar (22) serves as a support element for the two hinged parts (15, 16) that have been swung together.
- Assembly as claimed in any one of Claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the two hinged parts (15, 16) each have fastening means (28, 29) that are able to cooperate with one another, in order to make it possible to secure said parts (15, 16) together when they envelop the hose (2), the flared end (3) and the clamp (4).
- Assembly as claimed in Claim 6, characterized in that the fastening means are plastics clips (28, 29) .
- Assembly as claimed in any one of Claims 2 to 7, characterized in that the hollow enlarged head (20) is dimensioned with respect to the hose clamp (4) so as to leave a clearance between said head (20) and said clamp (4).
- Assembly as claimed in any one of Claims 2 to 8, characterized in that the hose (2) has an end collar (40), and in that the two hinged parts (15, 16) come to bear against the collar (40) when they enclose the hose (2), the flared end (3) and the clamp (4), in order to prevent any sliding of the protective device (5) along the hose (2).
- Protective device for producing an assembly as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that it comprises a casing provided with two parts (15, 16) that are hinged about a pivot link (17), and in that it comprises a centering peg (18) to which the pivot link (17) is secured.
