Definitions
- the present invention relates to a pivoting door.
- Known pivoting doors in fact, substantially have all the characteristics of a common swing door, but unlike the latter, they are generally hinged at the bottom and at the top to the floor and to the ceiling respectively, in order to create a swing leaf of the vertical balance swinging type.
- the leaves of this type do not have any opening/closing constraints, i.e. they can be opened both inwards and outwards and do not require frames and jambs generally used to hinge common swing doors laterally.
- the hinges generally used to install known types of pivoting doors comprise a fixed body rigidly associated with the swing leaf and a movable body secured in a swivel way to the fixed body around a hinging axis of the leaf itself and fittable inside the ceiling or the floor, in order to achieve hinging.
- swing leaves and the corresponding hinges of the type described above make it possible to manufacture a door with significantly different technical characteristics compared to common swing doors and with particularly attractive aesthetic and design characteristics.
- pivoting doors of known type are susceptible to improvements tied to the installation of the door itself.
- the hinges generally used once installed, cannot be repositioned intuitively and quickly compared to the corresponding swing leaf on which they are mounted.
- the floors and ceilings of rooms furnished with this type of door have imperfections and/or irregularities, such as, e.g., slopes and/or slight projections and depressions, which adversely affect the squaring up of the swing leaves, or the arrangement of the latter in a substantially equal distance from the floor and ceiling and so that the door can be opened and closed easily.
- the main aim of the present invention is to devise a pivoting door which allows being installed easily and quickly.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a pivoting door which allows adjusting the mutual position of the hinge with respect to the swing leaf in a simple and intuitive manner without the need to remove the hinges from the leaf itself.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a pivoting door which allows overcoming the mentioned drawbacks of the prior art in a simple, rational, easy, effective to use and cost effective solution.
- Figure 1 is a schematic axonometric view of the pivoting door according to the invention.
- Figure 2 is a schematic axonometric view of an element of the pivoting door according to the invention
- Figure 3 is a broken view of a detail of the element shown in Figure 2;
