- the DE 10 2016 117 537 discloses such an air cleaning device.
- Air cleaning devices for cooking vapors that is to say for vapors and vapors that arise during a cooking process, are widely known from the prior art.
- the air intake device disclosed there has a motor with a motor shaft which is connected to a fan wheel in a latching manner. The motor is arranged above the fan wheel as seen in the suction direction.
- the air intake device disclosed also has a rotary driving device with a driving projection which is arranged either on the motor shaft or in a receiving recess of the fan wheel and has a free-wheeling path for the driving projection running along a partial circle line.
- the freewheeling path is formed either in the recess of the fan wheel or on the motor shaft.
- the entrainment projection can be moved along the freewheeling path when the fan wheel is pushed onto the motor shaft and when the motor shaft and fan wheel move relative to each other.
- the freewheeling path has a movement-limiting surface for contact by the entrainment projection and thus for entrainment of the fan wheel by the rotatable motor shaft.
- DE 10 2009 003 142 A1 discloses a fan-rotor connection for a cooling fan of a motor vehicle with a rotor of an electric motor and a fan attached to the rotor, the fan being fixed to the rotor without screws.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to provide an air cleaning device which does not have the disadvantages known from the prior art.
- an air cleaning device as defined at the outset, in which the fan wheel has a receiving recess with an inner circumferential surface and a base surface, and wherein the motor shaft has an axial end face and an outer circumferential surface, wherein the motor shaft can be arranged in the receiving recess of the fan wheel, and wherein furthermore, at least near or adjacent to the base surface of the receiving recess, an inner circumferential area of the inner circumferential surface is conical and correspondingly near or adjacent to the axial end face of the motor shaft at least one outer circumferential area of the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft is conical, so that the inner circumferential surface of the fan wheel and the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft abut one another at least in the inner circumferential area and the corresponding outer circumferential area, the receiving recess being cylindrical in a central area adjoining the inner circumferential area of the inner circumferential surface, the fan wheel and the motor shaft being connected to one another via a latching connection device, with
- near or adjacent or the terms “near” or “adjacent” within the meaning of the present invention encompasses configurations in which the base surface and the conical inner peripheral area of the inner peripheral surface of the receiving recess directly or indirectly adjoin one another, in particular such configurations , in which there is a transition area, in particular a radial transition area, between the base and the conical inner circumferential area of the receiving recess, which is generally also present in the fan wheel in particular due to the manufacturing process of the receiving recess.
- the term “near” or “adjacent” or the terms “near” or “adjacent” in the sense of the present invention includes embodiments in which, optionally also following a particularly radially formed transition area, between the base area and the conical inner circumference area of the receiving recess short, non-conical intermediate wall area is present, where short denotes a length in the sense of an extension along an axial main axis of the fan wheel or the air cleaning device.
- the term “near or adjacent” or the terms “near” or “adjacent” in the sense of the present invention can be transferred to the design of the axial end face and the at least one outer peripheral region of the motor shaft.
- a transition area in particular designed radially, can be arranged between the axial end face and the outer circumferential area of the motor shaft, as well as, optionally also only or additionally, a short partition area that is not conical.
- a transition area in particular designed radially, can be arranged between the axial end face and the outer circumferential area of the motor shaft, as well as, optionally also only or additionally, a short partition area that is not conical.
- an embodiment is preferred in which there is no partition area either in relation to the receiving recess or in relation to the motor shaft.
- a radial transition area can always be formed on the receiving recess and the motor shaft.
- the term “conical” in the sense of the present invention is understood to mean that in the axial direction the inner circumferential area of the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess and the outer circumferential area of the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft are designed with a decreasing inner diameter or outer diameter, the reduction taking place continuously .
- the term “conical” is therefore understood in the sense of a circular conical design of the inner circumferential area of the receiving recess as well as of the outer circumferential area of the motor shaft. The reduction of the inside diameter and the outside diameter takes place in a removal direction of the fan wheel, e.g. for the purpose of cleaning the same.
- the air cleaning device according to the invention is characterized by a very compact design and can therefore be arranged in particular beneath cooktops in built-in kitchens such as pull-outs from base units or the like. Retrofitting is also easy. Cooking vapors or air are sucked in in the axial direction, they are released in the radial direction via at least one housing outflow opening preferably in at least one side part, preferably in at least two side parts, more preferably in two transverse side parts. This housing outflow opening can be provided with an additional filter, in particular an odor filter. Essentially, the cooking vapors and the oils and water they contain, and thus also the fragrances emanating from them, are collected in the drip tray.
- the at least one additional filter in at least one side part of the housing of the air cleaning device according to the invention serves to absorb residual amounts of fragrances or the like that may be carried away with the air flowing out.
- at least one filter cassette preferably two or more filter cassettes, more preferably three or more filter cassettes in a receptacle for the same are preferred Slide-in side panels.
- the at least one further filter preferably has activated carbon.
- the collecting pan of the air cleaning device according to the invention is designed to be removable from the interior of the housing together with the fan wheel, so that the collecting pan and the fan wheel can simply be placed in a dishwasher and cleaned together or as separate components. Of course, cleaning by hand is also possible.
- the air cleaning device according to the invention has a cover element for covering the collecting trough. This cover element can preferably be removed together with the drip pan and the at least one fan wheel from the interior of the housing for the purpose of cleaning and can also be cleaned in a dishwasher or by hand.
- the cover element with an outer edge area of the same and the drip pan with its upper edge area form a grip element, by means of which a user can remove the fan wheel and the drip pan as well as the cover element together from the interior of the housing.
- the air cleaning device according to the invention is designed to be extremely user-friendly for the purpose of cleaning. It should be noted at this point that the design of the removability of fan wheel, drip pan and cover element described above and below, and their design in detail and arrangement in the housing of the air cleaning device, is an independent invention regardless of the partially conical design of the motor shaft and the The receiving device is in the fan wheel and can therefore be claimed as a separate invention.
- Air or cooking vapors flowing axially into the housing via the suction opening are deflected radially by the fan wheel and its air blades and hit a side wall of the collecting pan.
- This side wall can be referred to as a baffle wall.
- a passage into an outer part of the interior of the housing of the air cleaning device according to the invention is formed, in particular above an upper edge region of the drip pan, more preferably within the cover element already mentioned above.
- the air is then passed to the outside via at least one side part of the housing of the air cleaning device according to the invention with at least one housing outlet opening, preferably via at least one additional filter, as described above.
- the air is particularly preferably guided to the outside through two opposite side parts, preferably transverse side parts of the housing of the air cleaning device according to the invention.
- At least one side part of the housing preferably has at least one housing outflow opening.
- the fan wheel and motor shaft components are preferably balanced along at least one axis, more preferably at least along two axes, even more preferably along at least three axes.

- the inner part is preferably formed from a metallic material and is preferably formed from cast aluminum.
- the outer part is preferably formed from a plastic material. The inner part of the fan wheel ultimately forms the receiving recess for receiving the motor shaft of the motor.
- the contact between the two cone-shaped surfaces, namely the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft in its outer circumferential area and the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess of the fan wheel in its inner circumferential area also ensures that when the air cleaning device is in operation, there is a slip between the motor shaft and the fan wheel when it rotates, in particular at the start of a rotational movement of the motor shaft, is reduced or completely avoided.
- the receiving recess is cylindrical in a central region adjoining the inner circumferential region of the inner circumferential surface. While the inner circumferential area is conical, as described above, the central area directly or indirectly adjoining it is cylindrical.
- the motor shaft is designed to be cylindrical in an area adjoining the outer circumferential area of the outer circumferential surface. - the at least one latching receptacle of the latching connection device is preferably designed in the form of a groove, the groove having a first, front flank, seen in the insertion direction of the fan wheel, and a second flank opposite this.
- the at least one first flank is preferably designed as a rear engagement projection for the at least one latching projection of the opposite component, that is to say either of the motor shaft or of the fan wheel.
- the engagement behind projection is particularly preferably formed in a groove, preferably an annular groove, more preferably a circumferential annular groove, provided on the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess of the fan wheel.
- the first flank which forms the protrusion from behind, is preferably a wall which is essentially perpendicular to a central axis of the air cleaning device or the fan wheel or the motor shaft.
- an axial locking or bracing of the fan wheel on the motor shaft can advantageously be achieved.
- the locking projections regardless of the component in which they are arranged, slide along the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess of the fan wheel or the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft until they reach a locking receptacle, preferably designed in the form of a groove, with a protrusion from behind.
- the first flank of the latching receptacle or the at least one latching groove comes into contact with the at least one latching projection in such a way that the latching projection dips into the latching recess .
- the component group of fan wheel and motor shaft is preferably designed in such a way that in this position the axial end face of the motor shaft is in contact with the base surface of the recess in the fan wheel.
- the locking projections are designed to be resilient, they apply an axial force to the fan wheel in the direction approximately of the central axis of the air cleaning device according to the invention due to their spring force.
- the fan wheel is thereby advantageously braced with the motor shaft. This stabilizes the connection between the fan wheel and the motor shaft.
- the groove preferably the partially encircling annular groove, more preferably the completely encircling annular groove, is formed radially on its second flank opposite the rear engagement projection.
- “Radially formed” in the context of the present invention means that the second flank, viewed in cross section, has an arcuate, in particular rounded, design. This specific configuration of the at least one locking recess ensures that there is sufficient axial bracing of the fan wheel and motor shaft. This is due to the fact that in the area of the second, radially formed flank, which is formed opposite the first flank in the insertion direction and closer to the motor of the motor shaft, an immersion depth of the detent recess for the detent projection is reduced.
- the locking projections are configured with a resilient mounting, in particular in the form of pressure balls, such a configuration is advantageous.
- an axial bracing of the fan wheel and the motor shaft is advantageously generated by the rear engagement projection, which is arranged on a front, first flank of the locking connection device, in particular the at least one first locking recess, viewed in the insertion direction of the fan wheel, which is preferably achieved by a radial design of the second Edge of the locking receptacle is supported.
- the present invention further relates to the use of an air cleaning device according to the invention, as described above, for sucking off cooking vapors when arranged below a hob with at least one, preferably central, opening located on or adjacent to it and assigned to the suction opening of the housing of the air cleaning device.

- a latching connection device 70 is formed between the receiving recess 36 of the fan wheel and the motor shaft 64.
- This consists, for example, of several resiliently mounted balls, so-called pressure balls, which are arranged on the motor shaft 64. Two, three, four or more such pressure balls can preferably be arranged there. These engage in grooves, not designated in any more detail here, on an inner circumferential surface 38 of the receiving recess 36.
- the grooves are preferably designed as a single circumferential annular groove.
- the annular groove preferably has differently designed flanks, as in FIG Fig. 6 shown. In particular, the second flank of the groove, which is designed closer to the motor 62, is designed radially or arcuately.
- the fan wheel 32 has an inner part 33 which is formed, for example, from cast aluminum.
- the fan wheel 32 has an outer part 34 which is formed from plastic.
- the collecting trough 56 has a base 60 on which in particular water and oil collect when the air cleaning device 10 is in operation, and a side wall 58 which also serves as a rebound wall for an air flow generated radially by the fan wheel 32.
- the radial air flow preferably essentially parallel to a central axis 11 of the air cleaning device 10
- Inflowing and sucked air is diverted in order to then flow via the flow straightener 80 into an outer area of the housing 22 that is to be addressed as a ring shape as a directed transport flow and via a housing outlet opening 27, which is provided by the transverse side parts 29.1 and 29.2, the housing 22 of the Leave air purification device 10.
- Supplementary filters in particular in the form of filter cassettes, can also be provided in the transverse side parts 29.1 and 29.2, in particular they can be inserted into corresponding, unspecified receptacles.
- These filter cassettes which are not shown here, can contain activated carbon, for example, and are used essentially to completely reduce odors, insofar as these have not already been eliminated by the air cleaning device 10 without the use of such filter cassettes.
- the fan wheel 32 has several air blades 35 which radially deflect the air drawn in axially through the suction opening 26, in particular in the form of cooking vapors, in the direction of the side wall 58 of the collecting pan 56.
- the suction opening accommodates the adapter 18 and thus also the connecting element 14.
- the collecting trough 56 has an upper edge area 57 which works together with an outer edge area 81 of the rectifier receiving element 83 and forms a grip element 78 for a user so that after removing the cover part 24 and the cover plate 25, which is also provided as an alternative here, the cover trough 26 together with the fan wheel 32 and the flow straightener 80 together with the rectifier receiving element 83 can be taken from the housing 22 of the air cleaning device 10.
- the interaction of the safety switch 20 with an outer surface 112 of the connecting element 14 can be seen via a button on the safety switch. If the air cleaning device 10, which is arranged in a pull-out drawer underneath a hob 12 in a kitchen piece of furniture, is to be cleaned for the purpose of cleaning, the air cleaning device 10 in FIG Figs. 1 and 2 Through opening 13 shown, the connecting element 14 is removed upward by means of the gripping element 110 there. In this case, the button 21 of the safety switch loses 20 makes contact with the outer surface 112 of the connecting element 14 and safely switches off the air cleaning device 10.
- the button 21 interacts with an upper side of the housing 22, for example the alternative cover plate 25 provided here, or only a cover part 24, in which case the safety switch 20 is not on the upper side of the housing 22 of the air cleaning device 10 or else on adapter 18, as in Fig. 4 shown, is arranged, but rather on the hob 12, for example on the connector 15 according to Fig. 3 .
- the safety switch 20 is arranged on a carrier 126 of the adapter 18. This carrier 126 can be designed as a lateral extension of a flange of the adapter 18. The fan wheel 32 can then be removed together with the collecting trough 56 and the cover element 80 designed as a flow straightener.
- Inserting the fan wheel 32 and arranging it on the motor shaft 64 is facilitated by a bevel 55 formed on an opening edge region 54 of the receiving recess 36.
- the positioning of the collecting trough 56 can be facilitated by unspecified positioning means on the base part 30.
- the connecting element 14 is slidably mounted in the adapter 18 via its outer surface 112, so that a height compensation can take place as a result. Because depending on the installation situation and dimensions of the kitchen furniture, which is usually designed as built-in cupboards, in which the hob arrangement 100 or air cleaning device 10 according to the invention are arranged, the distance between the cooking surface 130 of the hob 12 and an upper side of the housing 22 of the air cleaning device 10 is different. For example, a height compensation of approximately 40 mm can take place through the connecting element 14, which is defined approximately in an area between the flange of the adapter 18 and a lower edge, facing the fan wheel 32, of the connecting element 14.
- the connecting element 14 itself is held firmly but mechanically detachable on the hob 12 of the hob arrangement 100, for example by means of a latching connection which is made available by the adapter 15 in cooperation with the connecting element 14.
- the connecting element 14 is arranged in a sliding manner in the adapter 18.
- the connecting element 14 or the adapter 15 can provide a receptacle for the attachment element 16 in their end region facing the hob 12. This can therefore easily be done from User are removed so that pots and other cookware can be easily moved on the cooking surface 130.
- the attachment element 16 is used to suck in air, in particular in the form of cooking vapors, at the level of pots and near the opening edge of the same.
- Attachment elements 16 of different heights can also be made available to the user for this purpose.
- the connecting element 14 closes with its upper end area flush with the cooking surface 130 of the hob 12 in order not to hinder a displacement of cooking utensils.
- the connecting element 14 has a handle element 110 according to FIG Fig. 2 on.
- This grip element 110 can also be designed in such a way that it prevents particles or dirt or cooking residues from falling into the air cleaning device 10, for which purpose it can also be designed, for example, like a network. Incidentally, it can also serve as an advertising medium and also have means which reduce the suction noise when the hob arrangement 100 or the air cleaning device 10 is in operation, which can be done by specifically designing the edges and arranging webs in the grip element 110 of the connecting element 14.
- Fig. 5 shows a similar sectional view to FIG Fig. 4 , but now with the flow straightener 80 inserted.
- This comprises the straightener receiving element 83, the outer edge region 81 of which interacts with the upper edge region 57 of the collecting trough 56.
- the rectifier 80 has flow ribs 82 in an outer region 86 thereof.
- Associated with fan wheel 32 is an inner region 84 of flow straightener 80, which has reinforcing ribs arranged vertically and at right angles on its underside in inner region 84.
- the interaction between motor shaft 64 and fan wheel 32 is shown in detail A of Fig. 5 in Fig. 6 shown.
- the inner part 33 of the fan wheel which is preferably made of cast aluminum or a similar material, is arranged between the motor shaft 64 and the outer part 34 of the fan wheel 32.
- This has an inner circumferential surface 38 which is conical in an inner circumferential area 50 and cylindrical in a central area 52 directly adjoining this.
- the receiving recess 36 has a base area 40 which, in the assembled state, as in FIG Fig. 6 shown, comes to rest with an axial end face 68 of the motor shaft 64.
- the motor shaft 64 has an outer peripheral portion 74, the outer circumferential surface 66 of which is likewise conical in such a way that the outer circumferential surface 66 in the outer circumferential area 74 of the motor shaft 64 at least partially, preferably completely, comes into contact with the conical inner circumferential area 50 of the inner circumferential surface 38 of the receiving recess 36.
- a cone angle ⁇ of 6 ° can be determined between the inner peripheral surface 38 in the conical inner peripheral area 50 of the receiving recess 36 and the outer peripheral surface 66 in the likewise conical outer peripheral area 74 of the motor shaft 64.
- the base area 40 is connected to the inner circumferential area 50 via a radially formed transition area, and is to be addressed in the sense of the present application as being adjacent to the inner circumferential area 50.
- the axial end face 68 of the motor shaft is in turn formed in this sense adjacent to the outer circumferential area 74, likewise with a radial transition area.
- the surfaces of the radial transition areas of the motor shaft 64 and the receiving recess 36 essentially do not touch one another.
- a cylindrical area 76 of the motor shaft 64 is arranged opposite the cylindrical central area 52 of the receiving recess 36, which area is formed directly adjoining the conical outer circumferential area 74.
- Both the fan wheel 32 and the motor shaft 64 are balanced, preferably in at least two, more preferably in at least three axes. Due to the symmetrical design of the motor shaft 64 and the fan wheel 32, in contrast to the prior art, no mass arrangement or mass removal, e.g. by means of counterweights, is necessary on the respective components. Very smooth running with correspondingly low wear of the impeller 32 can be achieved, combined with reduced usage noise.
- the latching connection device 70 can also be seen with, on the one hand, an annular groove 44 formed and arranged around the inner circumferential surface 38 of the receiving recess 36 as a latching receptacle of the latching connection device 70 according to Fig. 4 the air cleaning device 10 is formed.
- a second flank 48 is formed radially opposite this wall 46.
- the pressure balls engage in the circumferential annular groove 44. At least three, four or more pressure balls are preferably arranged symmetrically on the motor shaft 64.
- corresponding latching means on the motor shaft 64 are always arranged symmetrically on the motor shaft 64.
- the engagement of the spring-loaded balls, not shown in detail, of the pressure balls in the circumferential annular groove 44 takes place in such a way that an axial pretensioning of the fan wheel 32 can be achieved.
- the latching projections, for example in the form of spring-loaded balls, of the latching connection device 70 advantageously rest on the engaging behind projection 42 formed by the wall 46 of the annular groove 44.
- the dimensions of the motor shaft 64 and the receiving recess 36 are coordinated in such a way that the spring-loaded locking projections in the form of spring-loaded balls of the locking connection device 70 on the wall 46 when the axial end face 68 of the motor shaft 64 makes contact with the base surface 40 of the receiving recess 36.
- an improved air cleaning device and hob arrangement is made available, which is mechanically simpler and thus also more cost-effective to manufacture than those known from the prior art, in particular since the motor shaft of the motor as well as the receiving recess of the fan wheel and the fan wheel itself as symmetrical parts can be formed, so that when they are balanced alone or together, as a rule, mass displacements or mass withdrawals can be dispensed with.
- a smooth running of the fan wheel is achieved, as a result of which this and thus the air cleaning device as a whole are designed to be durable.
- operating noises of the air cleaning device are reduced by the smooth running.
- the reinsertion of the fan wheel, possibly together with the drip pan and the cover element designed as a flow straightener, after removal for cleaning is also facilitated, since the motor shaft and fan wheel can be rotated in any relative position.

The object of the present invention is therefore to provide an air cleaning device which does not have the disadvantages known from the prior art.
This object is achieved by an air cleaning device as defined at the outset, in which the fan wheel has a receiving recess with an inner circumferential surface and a base surface, and wherein the motor shaft has an axial end face and an outer circumferential surface, wherein the motor shaft can be arranged in the receiving recess of the fan wheel, and wherein furthermore, at least near or adjacent to the base surface of the receiving recess, an inner circumferential area of the inner circumferential surface is conical and correspondingly near or adjacent to the axial end face of the motor shaft at least one outer circumferential area of the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft is conical, so that the inner circumferential surface of the fan wheel and the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft abut one another at least in the inner circumferential area and the corresponding outer circumferential area, the receiving recess being cylindrical in a central area adjoining the inner circumferential area of the inner circumferential surface, the fan wheel and the motor shaft being connected to one another via a latching connection device, with at least one engagement protrusion being formed in the cylindrical central area of the receiving recess and wherein the inner circumferential surface in the conically shaped inner circumferential area of the fan wheel forms a cone angle α with the cylindrically shaped central area of the inner circumferential surface of the fan wheel in a range from 3 ° to about 15 °.
The term “near or adjacent” or the terms “near” or “adjacent” within the meaning of the present invention encompasses configurations in which the base surface and the conical inner peripheral area of the inner peripheral surface of the receiving recess directly or indirectly adjoin one another, in particular such configurations , in which there is a transition area, in particular a radial transition area, between the base and the conical inner circumferential area of the receiving recess, which is generally also present in the fan wheel in particular due to the manufacturing process of the receiving recess. Furthermore, the term “near” or “adjacent” or the terms “near” or “adjacent” in the sense of the present invention includes embodiments in which, optionally also following a particularly radially formed transition area, between the base area and the conical inner circumference area of the receiving recess short, non-conical intermediate wall area is present, where short denotes a length in the sense of an extension along an axial main axis of the fan wheel or the air cleaning device. Correspondingly, the term “near or adjacent” or the terms “near” or “adjacent” in the sense of the present invention can be transferred to the design of the axial end face and the at least one outer peripheral region of the motor shaft. Here, too, a transition area, in particular designed radially, can be arranged between the axial end face and the outer circumferential area of the motor shaft, as well as, optionally also only or additionally, a short partition area that is not conical. In the context of the present embodiment, an embodiment is preferred in which there is no partition area either in relation to the receiving recess or in relation to the motor shaft. A radial transition area can always be formed on the receiving recess and the motor shaft.
Furthermore, the term "conical" in the sense of the present invention is understood to mean that in the axial direction the inner circumferential area of the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess and the outer circumferential area of the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft are designed with a decreasing inner diameter or outer diameter, the reduction taking place continuously . The term “conical” is therefore understood in the sense of a circular conical design of the inner circumferential area of the receiving recess as well as of the outer circumferential area of the motor shaft. The reduction of the inside diameter and the outside diameter takes place in a removal direction of the fan wheel, e.g. for the purpose of cleaning the same.
The air cleaning device according to the invention is characterized by a very compact design and can therefore be arranged in particular beneath cooktops in built-in kitchens such as pull-outs from base units or the like. The at least one additional filter in at least one side part of the housing of the air cleaning device according to the invention serves to absorb residual amounts of fragrances or the like that may be carried away with the air flowing out. In at least one side part, more preferably in at least two opposite side parts, in particular two transverse side parts of the housing of the air cleaning device according to the invention, at least one filter cassette, preferably two or more filter cassettes, more preferably three or more filter cassettes in a receptacle for the same are preferred Slide-in side panels. The at least one further filter preferably has activated carbon.
The collecting pan of the air cleaning device according to the invention is designed to be removable from the interior of the housing together with the fan wheel, so that the collecting pan and the fan wheel can simply be placed in a dishwasher and cleaned together or as separate components. Of course, cleaning by hand is also possible. In a preferred embodiment, the air cleaning device according to the invention has a cover element for covering the collecting trough. This cover element can preferably be removed together with the drip pan and the at least one fan wheel from the interior of the housing for the purpose of cleaning and can also be cleaned in a dishwasher or by hand. In a particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention, the cover element with an outer edge area of the same and the drip pan with its upper edge area form a grip element, by means of which a user can remove the fan wheel and the drip pan as well as the cover element together from the interior of the housing. As a result of this configuration, the air cleaning device according to the invention is designed to be extremely user-friendly for the purpose of cleaning.
Air or cooking vapors flowing axially into the housing via the suction opening are deflected radially by the fan wheel and its air blades and hit a side wall of the collecting pan. This side wall can be referred to as a baffle wall. Above the drip pan, a passage into an outer part of the interior of the housing of the air cleaning device according to the invention is formed, in particular above an upper edge region of the drip pan, more preferably within the cover element already mentioned above. Via this at least one passage, usually a plurality of passages, the air is then passed to the outside via at least one side part of the housing of the air cleaning device according to the invention with at least one housing outlet opening, preferably via at least one additional filter, as described above. The air is particularly preferably guided to the outside through two opposite side parts, preferably transverse side parts of the housing of the air cleaning device according to the invention. At least one side part of the housing preferably has at least one housing outflow opening.
Due to the conical design of the inner circumferential area of the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess and the corresponding conical design of the outer circumferential area of the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft in such a way that the inner circumferential surface of the fan wheel and the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft rest against one another at least in the inner circumferential area and the corresponding outer circumferential area, easy centering is achieved Insertion of a removed fan wheel on the motor shaft, usually together with the also removed drip pan and, if necessary, the cover element, enables. This symmetrical design also advantageously facilitates balancing of the components of the motor shaft and fan wheel, alone or together, so that, as a rule, there is no need for mass withdrawals or mass accumulations, for example in the form of counterweights. The fan wheel and motor shaft components are preferably balanced along at least one axis, more preferably at least along two axes, even more preferably along at least three axes. The fan wheel is preferably designed in such a way that it has an inner part and an outer part. The inner part is preferably formed from a metallic material and is preferably formed from cast aluminum. The outer part is preferably formed from a plastic material. The inner part of the fan wheel ultimately forms the receiving recess for receiving the motor shaft of the motor. The contact between the two cone-shaped surfaces, namely the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft in its outer circumferential area and the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess of the fan wheel in its inner circumferential area also ensures that when the air cleaning device is in operation, there is a slip between the motor shaft and the fan wheel when it rotates, in particular at the start of a rotational movement of the motor shaft, is reduced or completely avoided.
According to the invention, the receiving recess is cylindrical in a central region adjoining the inner circumferential region of the inner circumferential surface. While the inner circumferential area is conical, as described above, the central area directly or indirectly adjoining it is cylindrical. Correspondingly, in a preferred embodiment, the motor shaft is designed to be cylindrical in an area adjoining the outer circumferential area of the outer circumferential surface. In this cylindrical, adjoining area of the motor shaft and the central area of the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess of the fan wheel, the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess and the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft preferably rest against one another. The cylindrical central area is preferably formed directly adjacent to the conical inner circumferential area of the inner circumferential surface of the fan wheel. In a further preferred embodiment, there is no contact between the respective surfaces of the motor shaft and the receiving recess of the fan wheel between the axial end face and the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft and the inner circumferential surface and the base of the receiving recess in transition areas, which can in particular be radial. Electronics, in particular a controller, of the motor are preferably outsourced from the housing of the air cleaning device. Preferably arranged in the electronics of the motor in a housing separated from the housing of the air cleaning device.
Der Winkel der Fase liegt üblicherweise in einem Bereich von etwa 20° bis etwa 50°.In a further preferred embodiment, a bevel is formed in an opening edge region of the receiving recess of the fan wheel. When the fan wheel is inserted, especially after it has been cleaned, usually together with the drip pan and the cover element, this facilitates a centered placement of the fan wheel alone or the combination of drip pan, fan wheel and cover element on the motor shaft. The angle of the bevel is usually in a range from about 20 ° to about 50 °.
Insofar as "approximately" or "essentially" are used in relation to values, value ranges or value specifications, such as perpendicular, such as the cone angle or the bevel angle, this is to be understood as what the person skilled in the art considers to be expert in the given context is common. In particular, deviations from the specified values, value ranges or values of +/- 10%, preferably +/- 15%, more preferably +/- 2%, are encompassed by the term “approximately” or “substantially”.
According to the invention, the inner circumferential surface in the conically shaped inner circumferential area of the fan wheel forms a cone angle α with the cylindrically shaped central area of the inner circumferential surface of the fan wheel in a range from 3 ° to about 15 °, more preferably in a range from about 4 ° to about 12 °, more preferably in a range from about 4.5 ° to about 9 °. In the ranges specified above for the cone angle α, a slip between the fan wheel and the motor shaft when the same rotates, in particular when the air cleaning device according to the invention is started, can preferably be at least reduced, if not avoided at all.
According to the invention, the fan wheel and the motor shaft are connected to one another via a latching connection device, at least one engagement projection being formed in the cylindrical central region of the receiving recess. The locking connection device preferably comprises at least one, more preferably at least two, at least three, at least four, at least five, at least six or more locking projections, which are arranged on the inner circumferential surface of the fan wheel or on the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft. The locking projections are preferably arranged symmetrically on the inner circumferential surface of the fan wheel or the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft. In a further preferred embodiment, pairs of locking projections are arranged opposite one another on the inner circumferential surface of the fan wheel or the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft. The locking projections can in particular be designed in the form of so-called pressure balls, ie spring-loaded balls. However, any other type of design of locking projections that are familiar to the person skilled in the art would also be possible.
Opposite the locking projections, i.e. either on the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess of the fan wheel or on the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft, preferably at least one, more preferably at least two, at least three, at least four, at least five, at least six or more locking receptacles are formed. These can be arranged, for example, in the form of recesses on the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess of the fan wheel or the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft. The latching receptacles are preferably designed as grooves, more preferably as at least partial annular grooves. A single circumferential annular groove is preferably provided as a latching receptacle. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess of the fan wheel has a circumferential annular groove for receiving latching projections arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft.
The at least one latching receptacle of the latching connection device is preferably designed in the form of a groove, the groove having a first, front flank, seen in the insertion direction of the fan wheel, and a second flank opposite this. The at least one first flank is preferably designed as a rear engagement projection for the at least one latching projection of the opposite component, that is to say either of the motor shaft or of the fan wheel. The engagement behind projection is particularly preferably formed in a groove, preferably an annular groove, more preferably a circumferential annular groove, provided on the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess of the fan wheel. The first flank, which forms the protrusion from behind, is preferably a wall which is essentially perpendicular to a central axis of the air cleaning device or the fan wheel or the motor shaft. In this way, an axial locking or bracing of the fan wheel on the motor shaft can advantageously be achieved. This is because the locking projections, regardless of the component in which they are arranged, slide along the inner circumferential surface of the receiving recess of the fan wheel or the outer circumferential surface of the motor shaft until they reach a locking receptacle, preferably designed in the form of a groove, with a protrusion from behind. In the insertion direction when the fan wheel is inserted on the motor shaft, the first flank of the latching receptacle or the at least one latching groove, more preferably the circumferential annular groove that forms the engagement projection, comes into contact with the at least one latching projection in such a way that the latching projection dips into the latching recess .
The component group of fan wheel and motor shaft is preferably designed in such a way that in this position the axial end face of the motor shaft is in contact with the base surface of the recess in the fan wheel. If the locking projections are designed to be resilient, they apply an axial force to the fan wheel in the direction approximately of the central axis of the air cleaning device according to the invention due to their spring force. The fan wheel is thereby advantageously braced with the motor shaft. This stabilizes the connection between the fan wheel and the motor shaft.
In a further preferred embodiment, the groove, preferably the partially encircling annular groove, more preferably the completely encircling annular groove, is formed radially on its second flank opposite the rear engagement projection. “Radially formed” in the context of the present invention means that the second flank, viewed in cross section, has an arcuate, in particular rounded, design. In particular, when the locking projections are configured with a resilient mounting, in particular in the form of pressure balls, such a configuration is advantageous. Ultimately, an axial bracing of the fan wheel and the motor shaft is advantageously generated by the rear engagement projection, which is arranged on a front, first flank of the locking connection device, in particular the at least one first locking recess, viewed in the insertion direction of the fan wheel, which is preferably achieved by a radial design of the second Edge of the locking receptacle is supported.
The present invention further relates to the use of an air cleaning device according to the invention, as described above, for sucking off cooking vapors when arranged below a hob with at least one, preferably central, opening located on or adjacent to it and assigned to the suction opening of the housing of the air cleaning device. The opening in the hob or is preferred directly adjacent to the hob, axially assigned to the suction opening of the housing of the air cleaning device. The opening is preferably designed as a through opening. This is preferably a hole in a hob or in a plate of kitchen furniture in which the hob is also arranged.
The present invention further preferably relates to a hob arrangement, comprising a hob, preferably a hob with at least one opening, preferably at least one central opening and an air cleaning device according to the invention arranged below the hob, with a connection element via a connecting element via the opening, which is designed as a through opening Connection with the air cleaning device according to the invention takes place. If the hob has the at least one passage opening, preferably exactly one passage opening, more preferably a passage opening arranged centrally on the hob, this is preferably axially aligned and assigned to the connecting element of the air cleaning device. It can also be provided that the at least one opening is provided in the form of a through opening adjacent to the hob. In such an embodiment, too, the opening, in particular designed as a through opening, is preferably assigned axially to the connecting element of the air cleaning device. The connecting element, in turn, is preferably axially aligned with a suction opening of the air cleaning device according to the invention. In a particularly preferred embodiment of the hob arrangement according to the invention, the air cleaning device according to the invention is arranged below a hob with a central passage opening and the passage opening of the hob is connected to the air cleaning device according to the invention via a connecting element, the passage opening, the connecting element and a suction opening of the air cleaning device being axially aligned and arranged with one another are. The connecting element can in particular have height compensation, which facilitates the assembly of the hotplate arrangement according to the invention in a kitchen. Particularly preferably, the at least one connecting element is slidably mounted in the air cleaning device and more preferably held firmly by the hob or the through opening when the opening is arranged adjacent and next to the hob. Particularly preferably, the sliding mounting in the air cleaning device takes place via one in the suction opening the same adapter provided for the connecting element. It is particularly preferred in the hotplate arrangement according to the invention that all connections can be configured as plug connections, so that simple assembly of the hotplate arrangement according to the invention is possible. The at least one connecting element, which can also be referred to as a suction pipe, can be plugged into an adapter, arranged in the hob and below a cooking surface of the same or on a plate of kitchen furniture. Through the connecting element and / or the adapter, an attachment element can also be provided above the cooking surface of a hob, which can have different heights so that it can suck off the cooking vapors emanating from this near the opening edge of a cooking utensil. The attachment element is also connected by a plug connection to the adapter below the cooking surface of the hob and / or to the connecting element. The connecting element or the adapter can have a safety switch so that the air cleaning device according to the invention is safely switched off when the connecting element is removed. The safety switch is particularly preferably arranged on an adapter for the connecting element and is in contact with an outer surface of the connecting element via a preferably mechanical button. However, any other, in particular sensory option for determining the presence or removal of the connecting element is possible, for example an infrared measurement by means of a corresponding sensor or the like and either with the connecting element or with an upper side, in particular a cover part, of the housing of the air cleaning device according to the invention is in contact. The connecting element is preferably tubular, with the tube being round or also angular when viewed in cross section, for example triangular, square or otherwise having a polygonal or oval cross section, etc. For cleaning the air cleaning device according to the invention, the connecting element is preferably removed upwards from the hotplate arrangement according to the invention in the direction of a central axis of the air cleaning device when the various components are axially arranged by the user from above the cooking surface, for example by means of a handle element formed there. When placing one on the outer surface of the safety switch acting on the connecting element, the air cleaning device is then safely switched off and can be opened, for example when installing in a pull-out drawer below the hob, and the collecting pan with fan wheel and cover element, or the respective components individually, can be removed from this and cleaned.

Both the
With the present invention, an improved air cleaning device and hob arrangement is made available, which is mechanically simpler and thus also more cost-effective to manufacture than those known from the prior art, in particular since the motor shaft of the motor as well as the receiving recess of the fan wheel and the fan wheel itself as symmetrical parts can be formed, so that when they are balanced alone or together, as a rule, mass displacements or mass withdrawals can be dispensed with. A smooth running of the fan wheel is achieved, as a result of which this and thus the air cleaning device as a whole are designed to be durable. In addition, operating noises of the air cleaning device are reduced by the smooth running. The reinsertion of the fan wheel, possibly together with the drip pan and the cover element designed as a flow straightener, after removal for cleaning is also facilitated, since the motor shaft and fan wheel can be rotated in any relative position.
