Definitions
- the present invention relates to a processing machine for flat material parts comprising a machine frame, a lower beam, an upper beam, at least one processing tool assigned to the lower beam or upper beam and held on the machine frame, a control unit for controlling a processing sequence with the processing tools, a feed table on which the Flat material part can be placed on for positioning in the processing machine, and a placement unit for the predetermined positioning of the flat material part on the infeed table, wherein the infeed table can be moved back and forth from a parking position in an extension direction into a loading and unloading position, and the placing unit has a plurality of Has suction cup units with which the flat material part can be picked up and positioned by the feed table, and it relates to a method for this.
- a processing machine for flat material parts with a placement unit is from the EP 3 208 008 A1 known to the applicant.
- This placement unit makes it possible to improve the drawing-in process of the flat material part placed on it, in particular to accelerate it.
- the loading unit here is a turning unit in which a group of suction cups are arranged between individual sections of the subdivided feed table and rotate the workpiece about an axis parallel to the bending axis, which bending axis is swiveled out from below the feed table above the feed table, with the suction cups facing transversely are attached to the bending axis arranged arms.
- the arms have a predetermined length so that they can be gripped from behind the flat material part and turned around.
- the cheeks of the processing machine have to be moved far apart in order to achieve a to achieve sufficient height of the open cheeks so that flat material parts of a certain width can also be turned over. Turning in the machine also speeds up the pull-in or feed process, as the next bending step can be tackled more quickly.
- this object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
- the fact that the placement unit is mounted on the axis of movement assigned to the machining tool or tools outside the assigned cheek for a similar pivoting movement results in several advantages.
- an existing movement axis is used for this placement unit, which works as a turning unit, so that no further elements are necessary.
- the feature "outside" of an associated cheek also means that the mechanism, for example a parallelogram mechanism for moving the processing cheek, is arranged on the side of the cheeks opposite the pivot axis of the upper part and lower part, so that this mechanism does not open the upper part too much for the turning process requires.
- the suction cups of the application unit are advantageously connected in a direct manner to the movement control, for example a parallelogram mechanism Processing tools connected, so that only a corresponding drive must be provided over the sections of the processing machine.
- the suction cups can be mounted in a row on a frame. It is also possible to have two rows of suction cups.
- the plane of the suction cups forms an acute angle with the horizontal plane of the feed table, in particular an angle between 70 and 85 degrees.
- the draw-in table can advantageously be moved out between the lower cheek and upper cheek in order to pick up a flat component that has been turned after the suction cups have been released.
- the flat component which has been turned over 95 to 110 degrees, can also slide down onto a shelf provided below by loosening the suction cups.
- a further feed can be implemented by the placement unit on the upper or lower processing tool if the flat component is placed in the park position of the upper beam or the lower beam on the suction cups that are then activated and the flat component placed in this way is placed on the moving infeed table by pivoting downwards or upwards is deposited, so that processing by the bending tools then begins, in particular after the feed table has moved back and the flat component has been aligned.
- a loading movement can be brought about via a rail that is pivotably connected to the upper part, thereby lifting the flat component is made possible by a loading table.
- the loading or transfer table is advantageously arranged in a parallel plane and higher than the plane predetermined by the draw-in table, so that the transfer of the flat component is possible without an additional pivoting movement of the placement unit.
- a free space is advantageously provided between the transfer table and the infeed table as a parking space for the placement unit so that the processing machine can perform the clamping movement of the cheeks necessary for the folding movement of a flat component without this placement unit spatially obstructing such a movement.
- both placement units are used in combination, so that one person feeds flat components to the machine and, after machining, can either turn them over or not remove them from the machine.
- the Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a processing machine 1 according to embodiments of the invention. More precisely, of two sections of a processing machine 1 with their upper parts 3 and lower parts 2, which are arranged on a transverse frame 4. Processing machines 1 with four, six or 8 sections, in which a feed and turning unit 50 is particularly advantageous due to the length and weight of the flat component 5 to be turned, are common.
- the frame 4 runs in a direction of the double arrow 7, which direction is also the direction of the bending edges that can be produced with the processing machine 1. This direction runs transversely to the feed direction 17.
- a placement unit 70 is shown in the form of a side insertion unit, which in connection with FIGS. 13 to 22 is explained. This placement unit 70 is used together with a transfer table 80 with stops 12.
- the upper part 3 is also referred to as the upper machine part and the lower part 2 as the lower machine part of such a sheet metal bending machine. These are arranged perpendicular to a feed direction 17 of a workpiece 5 to be bent so that they can move relative to one another.
- a lower holding cheek 21 and a lower bending cheek are assigned to the lower machine part
- an upper holding cheek 23 and an upper bending cheek also known as an upper machining tool 24
- the four cheeks transversely are aligned to said feed direction and between the said four cheeks between the machine parts the flat component 5 to be bent can be inserted
- the upper holding cheek in a clamping position opposite the lower holding cheek clamps the workpiece to be bent
- the lower bending cheek being set up in said clamping position, in order to bend the flat component 5 to be bent upwards around the front edge of the upper holding cheek, with a further clamping position being set up in a double bender so that the upper bending cheek 24 can bend the flat component 5 to be bent downwards around the front edge of the lower holding cheek 21.
- the upper parts 3 and lower parts 2 can be driven and articulated in many ways, in particular also according to the EP 3 403 738 A1 of the applicant.
- the processing machine 1 also does not have to be a double bending unit, which has a lower processing tool 22 and an upper processing tool 24, as here in FIG Fig. 1 shown, has. It can also be a single processing tool, this being assigned to the feed and turning unit 50 as a placement unit.
- the Figures 2 to 12 show here a double bender with two placement units 50 and 60, which are assigned to the two processing tools 22 and 24.
- the feed unit 50 comprises a series of suction cups 51 connected to a pneumatically operated vacuum source, this connection being controlled, for example, via hydraulically activated valves.
- the feed unit 50 or the suction cups 51 thereof are attached to a frame component 53, to which the machining tool 24 is attached directly or indirectly.
- the machining tool 24 is via an in Fig. 4
- the movable parallelogram mechanism 52 shown is articulated on the upper part 3 and the upper beam 23.
- the machining tool 24 is already arranged in relation to the upper part 3 and the upper beam 23 that the machining tip of the machining tool 24 extends in the direction of extension of the Feed table 10 is arranged, which corresponds to the direction of the predetermined by the surface of the bottom of the suction cups 51 plane, which direction in the side view of the Fig. 6 is predetermined by the sheet 5.
- the Fig. 6 shows the feed unit 50 after the flat component 5 has been put on, before it after Fig. 7 is placed on the infeed table 10 and then introduced into the machine 1 as a feed step by retracting the infeed table 10 so that, after the stop at the depth stops between sections of the infeed table, it is advanced in the direction 17 for processing.
- FIGS. 2 to 8 show in a sequence the sequence of movements when using this placement unit 50 with its further function as an upper turning unit. It shows Fig. 2 a schematic side view of here essential parts of a processing machine 1 with a feed table 10 and the placement unit 50 in a rest position. The upper part 3 is slightly open with respect to the lower part 2.
- the Fig. 3 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 1 with a pushed-out feed table 10 on which the sheet 5 to be processed or already processed lies.
- the application unit 50 is in a rest position.
- the Fig. 4 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 1 with a pushed-out draw-in table 10 and the placement unit 50 on the flat material part 5 in a receiving position.
- the upper processing tool 24 is pivoted as if for a hemming process, only that the upper part 3 of the processing machine 1 is slightly open with respect to the lower part. This opening only needs to be opened slightly so that the machining tip of the upper machining tool 24 remains securely above the infeed table 10.
- the machining tool 24 with the parallelogram mechanism 52 is pivoted on the holder 53 outside the upper part 3, so that the illustrated suction cup 51 (from a row of suction cups 51 arranged parallel to the machining tool 24 in direction 7) extends onto the flat material part 5 lowers and is supported on this, so that the flat material part 5 adheres to the suction cups 51 by a subsequent suction of air located inside the suction cup 51.
- a negative pressure is generated pneumatically and applied to the suction cups 51 via hydraulically operated valves, which negative pressure is then constantly maintained.
- the Fig. 5 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 1 with a pushed-out draw-in table 10 and the placement unit 50 with the flat material part 5 picked up, the placement unit 50 returning to the rest position.
- This position of the Fig. 5 is released from the Fig. 4 achieved by returning the machining tool 24 to its starting position.
- the Fig. 6 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine according to FIG Fig. 1 with a pushed-out draw-in table 10 and the lay-up unit 50 with the flat material part 5 lowered onto the draw-in table 10.
- a negative pressure / vacuum to represent the Fig. 6 was reduced via a valve control (lower negative pressure) in such a way that the weight of the flat material part 5 allowed it to be lowered onto the infeed table 10.
- the flat material part 5 forms in the side view of Fig. 6 with the inwardly directed part of the feed table 10 an acute angle in the range between 70 and 85 degrees.
- the reference numeral 54 shows a reinforcement profile which, depending on the force required, is arranged in the direction 7 on the machining tool.
- the Fig. 7 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 1 with a pushed-out draw-in table 10 and the placement unit 50 with the flat material part 5 released and sliding onto the draw-in table 10; shortly before the flat material part 5 comes to rest fully on the infeed table 10.
- the Fig. 8 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 1 with a partially retracted feed table 10 and now opposite Fig. 2 turned flat material part 5.
- Fig. 2 to Fig. 8 a complete turn has been achieved.
- the flat material part 5 can alternatively also be lowered directly to the ground or a carriage arranged in front of the processing machine 1.
- FIGS. 9 to 12 show in a sequence the sequence of movements when using the placement unit 60, which is designed here as a lower turning unit.
- Fig. 9 a schematic side view of here essential parts of a processing machine 1 with a feed table 10 and the placement units 50 and 60 in a rest position.
- the upper part 3 is slightly open with respect to the lower part 2.
- the flat component 5 has already been machined on the two side ends and has an "S" shape in each case in the cross section shown.
- An upper lay-on unit 50 and a lower lay-on unit 60 are shown, with only the lower lay-on unit 60 going into action here as a result.
- This is also provided with corresponding suction cups 51 which are mounted on a frame part 53 which is firmly connected to the lower machining tool 22.
- the Fig. 10 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 9 with a pushed-out feed table 10 on which the sheet 5 already processed here lies.
- the upper placement unit 50 is in a rest position and will remain so even after the sheet metal 5 is turned over.
- the turning process is carried out here by a lower placement unit 60 which is attached to the lower machining tool 22.
- the lower processing tool 22 is pivoted as if for a hemming process, only that the upper part 3 of the processing machine 1 is slightly open with respect to the lower part 2. This opening only needs to be opened slightly so that the machined flat component 5 can be pushed safely through between the cheeks 21 and 23 on the infeed table 10.
- the lower machining tool 22 with the parallelogram mechanism 52 is pivoted on the holder 53 outside the lower part 2, so that the illustrated suction cup 51 (from a row of suction cups 51 arranged in direction 7 parallel to the machining tool 22) attaches from below the flat material part 5 is applied, so that the flat material part 5 adheres to the suction cups 51 due to a downstream suction of air located inside the suction cup 51.
- the part of the suction cup 51 resting on the flat material part 5 is shown in the side view of FIG Fig. 10 covered by the feed table 10.
- the infeed table 10 is at least not a continuous surface here but has slots in the direction of the double arrow 17 at least at the locations of the suction cups 51, through which it extends from below lets create the flat material part 5 and through which the feed table 10 can be retracted and extended in the direction of this double arrow 17.
- the Fig. 11 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 9 with a draw-in table 10 pulled back again and the placement unit 60 with the flat material part 5 picked up and carried by it, before the placement unit 60 returns to the rest position.
- the ones in the Fig. 11 The illustrated end position of the parallelogram mechanism 52 goes beyond the folding position of the lower processing tool 22 and also extends beyond the horizontal as the alignment of the front end surface of the suction cups 51. Therefore, the free edge of the flat component 5 pointing away from the processing machine 1 (as far as the main orientation of the flat component 5 is concerned) is arranged higher than the end of the flat component 5 near the suction cup here.
- the Fig. 12 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 9 with the lower lay-up unit 60 swung out beforehand in the rest position but with activated suction cups 51 with the flat material part 5 still held therewith over a shelf 11. From the Fig. 11 Starting from this, the lower placement unit 60 is pivoted back so that the lower holding cheek 21 forms the lower edge opposite the upper holding cheek 23 and the flat material part 5 held on the suction cups 51 is pivoted downward.
- the lower placement unit 60 acts as a turning unit and turns the flat material part 5 with respect to its position in, for example Fig. 9 and then places it on tray 11.
- the lower placement unit can also be designed as a feed unit if in the position of the Fig. 12 the (then still unprocessed) flat component 5 is pressed against the row of suction cups and then the suction cups 51 with their parallelogram mechanism, so to speak, backwards Fig. 11 are moved in order to then first correctly position the flat component for the above-described folding operations after the feed table 12 has been pushed under.
- the arrangement of the lower and upper lay-up units 50 and 60 fixed to the associated bending tools 24 or 22 or to an axis parallel to their pivot axis, which also has an axis parallel to the axis of movement of the upper part 3 (and if the lower part 2 is pivotable) or parallel to the axis of movement of the lower part 3 allows faster and more reliable turning of the flat component or faster conveyance of the same out of the bending machine. Because these units act outside the upper part 3 and lower part 2, this does not need to be opened so wide, which saves further time.
- the angular relationships for the turning units 50 and 60 are easy to achieve an angle of over 90 degrees for effective turning is easier and can be achieved through the use of the parallelogram mechanism 52 already present for bending, which means one less axis of movement.
- the Fig. 13 shows a perspective view with essential parts of a processing machine 1 according to an embodiment of the invention.
- the feed table 10 is in the retracted position between the upper part 3 and the lower part 2, of which only one section is shown here.
- This section shown is the foremost section in front of a setup area 20 which has a transfer table 80 (not shown here).
- a placement unit runs transversely between the upper part 3 and the lower part 2 as a side insertion unit 70, which has a side insertion rail 72 under which a frame component 73 is arranged to be movable in the direction 7.
- a plurality of suction cups 51 are arranged on the frame component 73, with which a flat component 5 can be picked up laterally outside the processing machine 1 by the aforementioned set-up table 80. That has already happened here.
- the suction cups 51 correspond to the suction cups of the other embodiment with a corresponding, advantageously hydraulic control of valves and a continuously operated vacuum source.
- a stationary transfer table 80 is provided with stops 12. These stops are in the Fig. 1 , 19th and 21st shown arranged only to the front. Lateral stops are not necessary, since the position of the flat component 5 in the direction of the arrow 7 is not critical because the cutting length of the bending machine 1 always extends far beyond the length of the flat component 5.
- the Fig. 14 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 13 with the application unit 70 in the receiving position with activated nine suction cups 51 with the flat component 5 received.
- Fig. 15 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 13 with the placement unit in the insertion movement of the flat component 5 that has been picked up, the upper part 3 being slightly open, so that the flat component 5 is slightly inclined with respect to the placement table 10.
- the Fig. 15 shows the insertion movement so that it has a state in time after the Fig. 14 shows. She's also with her Fig. 16 to recognize the a perspective view of the situation of the Fig. 15 with the moving-in placement unit 70, the sucked flat component 5 having been moved by the suction cups 51 in the direction of the double arrow 7 (here to the right) and continues to be moved.
- FIG. 17 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 13 with the application unit 70 after the suction cups 51 have been released, with the flat component 5 lowered, this protruding from the machine 1 at the front.
- Fig. 18 a perspective view of the situation of the processing machine 1 chronologically behind Fig. 17 , whereby the frame component 73 on the side slide-in rail 72 of the lay-up unit 70 has been pulled back laterally, while the sheet metal between the cheeks 22, 24 protrudes from the machine 1 at the front.
- Fig. 20 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine 1 according to FIG Fig. 19 .
- FIGs. 17-20 show that after letting go of the flat component 5, the flat component 5 is precisely advanced without the use of the draw-in table 10 through depth stops, not shown here, which are located between segments of the feed table 10 divided in the direction of the double arrow, in order to then fold the flat component 5 allow.
- the frame component 73 is moved out laterally, as it is Fig. 18 shows.
- the Fig. 19 shows the position of the frame component 73 laterally next to the foremost section of the processing machine 1, but in the direction of the double arrow 7 behind the transfer table 80, i.e.
- Fig. 21 shows a perspective view of the machine 1 during a folding process of a first flat component 5, the side insertion unit being in the parking position as a placement unit 70 and a second flat component having been placed on the transfer table 80 and pushed against the stops 12; and Fig. 22 shows a schematic side view of the processing machine according to FIG Fig. 21 with the placement unit 70 in the parking position, with the two flat components 5, one that is bent over in its front section and the other that lies on the transfer table 80.

From https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eg3Ovmc wZQ , a processing machine for flat material parts from ASCO with a lay-up unit is known (dated February 2, 2015). The loading unit here is a turning unit in which a group of suction cups are arranged between individual sections of the subdivided feed table and rotate the workpiece about an axis parallel to the bending axis, which bending axis is swiveled out from below the feed table above the feed table, with the suction cups facing transversely are attached to the bending axis arranged arms. The arms have a predetermined length so that they can be gripped from behind the flat material part and turned around. The cheeks of the processing machine have to be moved far apart in order to achieve a to achieve sufficient height of the open cheeks so that flat material parts of a certain width can also be turned over. Turning in the machine also speeds up the pull-in or feed process, as the next bending step can be tackled more quickly.
Based on this prior art, it is an object of the present invention to provide a processing machine in which the feeding process or unloading process can be accelerated, it being possible for this to include a machine-internal feeding process as a turning process. The functions are advantageously integrated and also allow a directly turned machined flat material part to be output.
In a processing machine of the type mentioned at the outset, this object is achieved by the features of
This makes it possible to turn even wide sheets, since the width of the flat component or sheet may occupy the free space between the plane of the feed table and the frame of the processing machine on the one hand downwards or the height of the room from the plane of the feed table upwards. At the same time, this procedure accelerates the manipulation of the sheets, since the clamping cheeks only need to be opened a little, namely only to the extent that the folded ends of the sheet rise above the middle level, so no more than to push out such a machined sheet through the Infeed table itself. Is required.
The suction cups of the application unit are advantageously connected in a direct manner to the movement control, for example a parallelogram mechanism Processing tools connected, so that only a corresponding drive must be provided over the sections of the processing machine. The suction cups can be mounted in a row on a frame. It is also possible to have two rows of suction cups.
In the parking position of the suction cups, the plane of the suction cups forms an acute angle with the horizontal plane of the feed table, in particular an angle between 70 and 85 degrees. In addition, the draw-in table can advantageously be moved out between the lower cheek and upper cheek in order to pick up a flat component that has been turned after the suction cups have been released.
This makes it possible for a placement unit belonging to the upper beam to slide the flat component turned over 95 to 110 degrees either onto the infeed table or onto a shelf provided underneath by releasing the suction cups.
For a placement unit belonging to the lower cheek, the flat component, which has been turned over 95 to 110 degrees, can also slide down onto a shelf provided below by loosening the suction cups.
A further feed can be implemented by the placement unit on the upper or lower processing tool if the flat component is placed in the park position of the upper beam or the lower beam on the suction cups that are then activated and the flat component placed in this way is placed on the moving infeed table by pivoting downwards or upwards is deposited, so that processing by the bending tools then begins, in particular after the feed table has moved back and the flat component has been aligned.
In the case of a processing machine of the type mentioned at the outset, the object is also achieved by the features of
Because the placement unit is connected transversely to the machining tool or tools laterally within the associated cheek for a feed movement of the flat component in the direction of the machining edge of the flat component, a loading movement can be brought about via a rail that is pivotably connected to the upper part, thereby lifting the flat component is made possible by a loading table.
The loading or transfer table is advantageously arranged in a parallel plane and higher than the plane predetermined by the draw-in table, so that the transfer of the flat component is possible without an additional pivoting movement of the placement unit.
A free space is advantageously provided between the transfer table and the infeed table as a parking space for the placement unit so that the processing machine can perform the clamping movement of the cheeks necessary for the folding movement of a flat component without this placement unit spatially obstructing such a movement.
Advantageously, both placement units are used in combination, so that one person feeds flat components to the machine and, after machining, can either turn them over or not remove them from the machine.
What is technically common to the placement units according to
