Claims (14)

  1. A support structure for seating and reclining furniture comprising a plurality of spring elements (1) arranged distributed over a support surface and a plurality of cover plates (2) which are connected to the spring elements (1) and whose sides facing away from the spring elements (1) together form a support surface, wherein the spring elements (1) each have at least three spring arms (6) facing in different directions in a star shape and the cover plates each have at least three cover plate sections (3) connected to one another, wherein the cover plate sections (3) are each connected to a spring arm (6) of a spring element (1), characterized in that the cover plates each have at least three cover plate sections (3) elastically connected to one another and the cover plate sections (3) of a cover plate (2) are connected to spring arms (6) of at least two adjacent spring elements (1).
