An dem freien Ende 18 der Kragarme 16 sind dabei Halteelemente 4 angeordnet. Diese sind in diesem Fall nicht als durchgängiges Halteprofil ausgebildet, sondern als punktuelle Halter, beispielsweise mit einer Länge zwischen jeweils 10 cm und 25 cm. Die Halteelement 4 tragen dabei die zweiten Paneele 12, die dabei ausschließlich durch die Haltelemente 4 gehalten werden. Insbesondere können an den Halteelementen 4 Fixiermittel 23 angeordnet sein, um die zweiten Paneele 12 sicher an dem Balustradenprofil 1 zu halten. - Balustrade profile (1) comprising a handrail guide (2) and at least one arrangement means (3) for arranging the balustrade profile (1) at the upper end (112) of balustrade panels (11),wherein the balustrade profile comprises at least one holding element (4) spaced from the handrail guide (2) and configured to hold at least one further panel (12) at its lower end (121) parallel to the handrail guide (2) in such a way that the further panel (12) projects beyond the handrail guide (2),characterized in thatthe balustrade profile (1) has a framework structure transverse to the direction of its longitudinal extension.
- Balustrade profile (1) according to claim 1, characterized by a receptacle (31) as said at least one arrangement means (3), wherein the receptacle (31) is configured in such a way that the balustrade profile (1) can be applied to the upper end (112) of balustrade panels (11) by means of the receptacle (31).

- Balustrade profile (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one holding element (4) is configured as a holding profile (10) extending parallel to the balustrade profile (1).
- Balustrade profile (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one holding element (4) and the balustrade profile (1) are together formed in one piece.
- Balustrade profile (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the handrail guide (2) and the balustrade profile (1) are formed together in one piece.
- Balustrade profile (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the balustrade profile (1) comprises a framework structure orthogonally to the direction of its longitudinal extension,
wherein the balustrade profile (1) is formed together with the at least one holding element (4) and/or with the handrail guide (2) in one piece. - Balustrade profile (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the balustrade profile (1) comprises a continuous profile surface (7) between the handrail guide and the at least one holding element (4).
- Balustrade profile (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the balustrade profile (1) is produced at least partially as a continuously cast profile.
- Balustrade (22) comprising a plurality of first panels (11), a plurality of second panels (12) and at least one balustrade profile (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the balustrade profile (1) is arranged with its at least one arrangement means (3) at the upper end (112) of the first panels (11), and wherein the second panels (12) are held by the at least one holding element (4) of the balustrade profile (1) at the lower end (121) thereof in such a way that the second panels (12) are arranged laterally offset with respect to the first panels (11) and project beyond the handrail guide (2) of the balustrade profile (1).

- Passenger conveyor device (30), in particular escalator or moving walkway, comprising an endless conveyor belt, characterized by at least one balustrade profile (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 9 or at least one balustrade (22) according to any one of claims 10 to 12.
- Method for retrofitting a passenger conveyor device (30), characterized in that a passenger conveyor device (30) is equipped with a balustrade (22) according to any one of claims 10 to 12.
- Method according to claim 14, wherein the passenger conveyor device (30) comprises an inventory balustrade (22'), wherein the inventory balustrade (22') comprises a plurality of the first panels (11), and wherein the inventory balustrade (22') comprises a profile (2') disposed at the first panels (11) and comprising a handrail guide, characterized in that the profile (2') with the handrail guide is removed and replaced by a balustrade profile (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 9.
