Definitions
- the invention also relates to an arrangement with two hinged furniture parts, in particular door leaves of a folding door, and with a guide system of the type to be described.
- the invention also relates to a piece of furniture with such an arrangement or with such a guide system.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a guidance system of the type mentioned at the beginning with a more convenient operating option.
- the guide system has at least one second drive device, by means of which the guide device can be moved, starting from the first guide rail, into a position in which the first fitting part and the second fitting part are aligned with one another in such a way that the Furniture parts connected to the fitting parts are aligned essentially coplanar with one another.
- the proposed guide system makes it possible to transfer the furniture parts in the assembled state from a first position in which the furniture parts are aligned parallel to one another to a second position in which the furniture parts are aligned essentially coplanar with one another.
- the furniture parts can therefore be moved into a defined end position by the second drive device, namely into that in which the furniture parts are aligned essentially coplanar with one another.
- the drive devices provided for moving the furniture parts function exclusively mechanically, ie without an electrical drive and without further electrical components.
- Fig. 1a shows a possible application of a guide system 2 for guiding a first furniture part 3a, preferably in the form of a first door leaf of a folding door, the first furniture part 3a being articulated in the assembled position via a vertical axis 5a to a second furniture part 3b in the form of a second door leaf.
- at least two further furniture parts 4a, 4b can also be provided, which are also pivotably connected to one another via a vertically extending axis 5b.
- the furniture parts 3a, 3b and 4a, 4b are movably supported by the guide system 2 relative to a furniture body 36 of a piece of furniture 37 which is stationary during operation.
- the guide system 2 can be used, for example, as a room dividing system, so that in a living room a like in Fig. 1a Furniture body 6 shown in the form of a kitchen block, an office niche, a storage room, a shelf, etc. through the furniture parts 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b can be completely covered and thus optically separated from the rest of the living space.
- the Guide system 2 can also be used for cabinet systems such as a walk-in cabinet. The mode of operation is explained below with reference to furniture parts 3a and 3b, the same statements being valid for furniture parts 4a, 4b.
- the furniture parts 3a, 3b are moved by the guide system 2 between a first position in which the furniture parts 3a, 3b are aligned essentially parallel to one another ( Fig. 1a ) and a second position in which the furniture parts 3a, 3b are aligned essentially coplanar to one another, movably supported.

- the energy storage devices 21 are each as shown in the figure
- Tension springs are formed which act on a driver 20 which is pivotably mounted on the column 14 about an axis of rotation 19.
- a pressure roller 22 is rotatably mounted on the driver 20, which can be pressed by the force of the energy accumulator 21 against a concave control cam 23 of the first drive device 12 and which can be moved along this control cam 23 when the column 14 moves in direction (Z).
- the control cam 23 comprises a pull-in section 23a for partially pulling in the carrier 11 in the direction (Z) and a tensioning section 23b adjoining the pull-in section 23a for charging the energy storage devices 21 Figure 5a the energy storage devices 21 are in a tensioned state, so that the column 14 (and thus the carrier 11) after the carrier 11 has been unlocked from the first guide rail 9 by the force of the relaxing energy storage mechanisms 21 along the intake section 23a down to the deepest area of the Control cam 23 is retractable.
- the furniture parts 3a, 3b are also partially drawn into the insertion slot 7a, as a result of which they are favorably pre-positioned for continued movement in the insertion slot 7a in direction (Z).
- a movably mounted switch 25, preferably tiltable about an axis of rotation 25a, is provided with an adjusting contour 25c, the pressure roller 22 being displaceable, starting from the said inserted position, when moving against the direction (Z) along the adjusting contour 25c of the switch 25. It is thereby achieved that the pressure roller 22 pretensioned by the energy storage device 21 does not interfere with a movement against the direction (Z)
- the draw-in section 23a of the control cam 23 must be overcome, so that the draw-in section 23a can be bypassed by the pressure roller 22 and the force of the energy accumulator 21 is maintained over a longer distance.
- Figure 5b shows the in Figure 5a circled area in an enlarged view.
- Figure 6a shows a continued movement of the column 14 (and thus of the carrier 11) in direction (Z). Due to the decreasing distance of the control cam 23 in the intake section 23a ( Fig. 3a ) In relation to the bearing part 24, the energy storage devices 21 are relaxed and pull the column 14 or the carrier 11 in the direction (Z).
- Figure 6b shows the in Figure 6a circled area in an enlarged view.
- the switch 25, which can be tilted about the axis of rotation 25a, is raised by the pressure roller 22 ( Figure 6c ), so that the pressure roller 22 moves unhindered past the switch 25 during a movement in direction (Z) and can be moved further along the tensioning section 23b.
- the eccentric articulation of the switch 25 around the axis of rotation 25a forms a two-armed lever with lever arms of different lengths, so that the switch 25 with the longer lever arm, preferably exclusively loaded by gravity, rests loosely on the clamping section 23b of the control cam 23. If appropriate, the switch 25 can also be pressed against the control cam 23 by a spring element.
- Fig. 6d shows the in Figure 6c circled area in an enlarged view.
- Figure 7a shows the position of the column 14 shortly before reaching the end position completely pushed into the insertion shaft 7a.
- the pressure roller 22 was moved along the tensioning section 23b of the control cam 23 and is located just before the horizontally extending end region 23c of the control cam 23, so that the column 14 is accelerated neither in direction (Z) nor against direction (Z).
- the energy storage devices 21 are complete charged.
- a housing 29 is arranged on the column 14, in which a damping device 27 for damping a closing movement of the column 14 or of the carrier 11 is arranged.
- the damping device 27 comprises two, preferably hydraulic, linear dampers connected in parallel, each with a piston-cylinder unit.
- Figure 7c shows the end position of the column 14, the last closing movement of the column 14 being braked by the damping device 27 and the lockable energy storage devices of the ejecting devices 28 being charged.
- the ejector devices 28 can be moved into an unlocking position, whereupon the column 14 is again opposite to the direction (Z.) by the force of the ejector devices 28 and then by the force of the charged energy storage device 21 ) is drivable.
- Figure 7d shows the in Figure 7c circled area in an enlarged view.
- Figure 8a shows a position of the column 14 after it has been ejected by the ejector devices 28 against the direction (Z).
- the pressure roller 22 is in a position approaching the switch 25, the pressure roller 22 being moved against the direction (Z) no longer along the feed section 23a, but along the adjusting contour 25c arranged or formed on the switch 25.
- a uniform ejection process of the column 14 or of the furniture parts 3a, 3b is brought about without substantial fluctuations in the force of the energy storage device 21, the force of the energy storage device 21 being maintained over a longer distance.
- Figure 8b shows the in Figure 8a circled area in an enlarged view, the pressure roller 22 approaching the adjusting contour 25c of the switch 25 when the column 14 moves counter to the direction (Z) without the pressure roller 22 having to be moved along the wave trough of the feed section 23a.
- Figure 8c shows a continued movement of the column 14 counter to the direction (Z), wherein the pressure roller 22 was moved along the adjusting contour 25c of the switch 25 and the switch 25 was pivoted about the axis of rotation 25a in the counterclockwise direction.
- the pressure roller 22 is returned to the starting area of the clamping section 23a.
- the switch 25 tilts about the axis of rotation 25a back into the starting position, that is, into the position in which the longer lever arm of the switch 25 is again on the control cam 23 due to its higher weight is applied.
- Figures 9a and 9b show a possible embodiment of a locking device 30, by means of which the carrier 11 can be locked in the transfer position or a parking position with the first guide rail 9 and which can be unlocked by moving the guide device 10 into or onto the carrier 11.

- the Coupling lever 35 is rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation 31, a latching element 35c being movable by coupling lever 35 which, in the locking position, engages in a corresponding recess 34 of first guide rail 9 and thereby locks carrier 11 relative to first guide rail 9. It can be provided that the coupling lever 35 is formed in one piece together with the latching element 35c.
- the coupling lever 35 can be pretensioned in the direction of the locking position by a spring (not shown) so that the carrier 11 can be automatically locked again with the guide rail 9 by the force of this spring when it moves against the direction (Z) and the guide device 10 starting from the carrier 11 can be transferred back to the guide rail 9 again.
- Figures 10a and 10b show a continued movement of the sliding piece 33, which is motion-coupled to the guide device 10, in the longitudinal direction (L), the projection 33a of the sliding piece 33 cooperating with the counter-stop 35a of the coupling lever 35 and thus pivoting the coupling lever 35 about the axis of rotation 31, so that the locking element 35c out of the Recess 34 of the guide rail 9 is moved out and thereby the carrier 11 is released relative to the guide rail 9 for a movement in direction (Z).
- the carrier 11 After unlocking - together with the column 14 - the carrier 11 can be drawn in at least in sections in the direction (Z) by the force of the energy accumulator 21 of the first drive device 12 described above, with the spacer roller 32 rotatably mounted on the sliding piece 33 for lateral guidance of the carrier 11 can be rolled off in the direction (Z) on the side wall 8a.
