Definitions
- the present invention relates to a weather protection roof made of several roof trusses in truss construction, each with an upper chord, which span a roof skin between them, and are connected to one another via purlins running transversely to the roof trusses, the weather protection roof having at least one detachably attached web for carrying out assembly or Cleaning work in the roof area is equipped.
- weather protection roofs consist of a truss structure that comprise two or more roof trusses running parallel to one another, which are connected via transverse purlins and diagonal struts to absorb shear forces acting in the longitudinal direction of the roof trusses.
- Each roof truss is usually a lattice girder, which often has a kink in a ridge area and has at least two straps, an upper and a lower chord, with one of the straps, usually the upper chord, having laterally extending welt rails for pulling the welt on the edge between them each has adjacent roof trusses clamped roof skin elements.
- These half-timbered roof constructions are stored at the desired height in the eaves area using scaffolding or another support.
- weather protection roofs with three-belt roof trusses are also known, in which the welt rails are not carried in front of the upper belt, but rather are carried by a central belt running largely parallel between the upper and lower chords, so that the upper straps of the roof trusses finished weather protection roof run above the roof skin and protrude beyond it.
- a problem that arises when such weather protection roofs are used is that they often have to be carried out when working in the roof area. This can be assembly work to assemble or dismantle the roof itself or routine maintenance or cleaning work.
- the EP 2 984 255 B1 proposes, for example, an assembly web which is hung along a roof truss by means of a supporting structure. This creates a work platform that runs at the level of a roof truss or below it along the roof truss.
- This assembly web also necessarily runs below the roof skin and therefore the top of the roof skin is not directly accessible.
- this would be very desirable, for example for cleaning or snow removal work or also for assembly work on the weather protection roof itself with the roof skin clamped.
- the object on which the present invention is based is therefore to create a possibility of making weather protection roofs of the known type described easily accessible from the top, so that cleaning and installation work can also be carried out there with the roof skin clamped in place.
- the support web of the weather protection roof according to the invention is a web with a running area, which is releasably attached to the top of the weather protection roof by means of support and fastening means.
- the running area can have the shape of a rectangular plank defining a longitudinal direction, that is to say a wooden or metal board or lattice which is significantly longer than it is wide, for example a covering used in scaffolding.
- a longitudinal direction that is to say a wooden or metal board or lattice which is significantly longer than it is wide
- the running area it is also conceivable to design the running area as a platform which has no clear preferred direction, that is to say is as wide as it is long.
- the shape of the running area is arbitrary within the scope of the present invention, it could also be polygonal, oval or round, but due to the simplified manufacture and improved modularity, the rectangular shape is appropriate.
- the support web according to the invention can be constructed from several elements, each of which comprises its own running area or a running area segment, for example a plank and its own support and fastening means. Individual elements can then be positioned on the top of the weather protection roof in such a way that they result in a web of the desired size and the desired course.
- a single web element is constructed in such a way that the running area segment rests or is fastened on struts arranged on the underside and running parallel to the roof skin, the struts having the fastening means necessary for a secure hold.
- These can take the form of end regions of the bends which are bent down essentially at right angles Struts or also on the underside, such as screwed or welded holding claws.
- a frequently used, preferred construction of a web element provides a running area in the form of an elongated plank, which is supported on one or two cross strut (s) fastened near the end of the plank.
- the support web of the weather protection roof according to the invention can run, for example, along a roof truss from the eaves to the middle of the roof, or, in the case of a ridge roof, to the ridge.
- a web running from eaves to eaves along a roof truss can also be used, with a ridge roof either using a special element with a bent running area, or two separate webs starting from the eaves and colliding on the ridge.
- a major advantage of the present invention can be seen in the fact that the web is attached above the roof skin, and thus safe access is created for work there, be it cleaning or clearing work on or on the roof skin top, be it assembly work, on the weather protection roof itself or otherwise.
- the support web according to the invention can be installed at any time before or after the roof skin is drawn in, whereas in the prior art a certain sequence must be followed if the web elements are to be brought into position by means of a crane.
- the support web of the weather roof according to the invention is preferably constructed from a plurality of elements which, when positioned accordingly on the top of the roof, result in the web with its desired course.
- a frequently used, preferred construction of a web element provides a running area in the form of an elongated plank, which is supported on one or two cross strut (s) fastened near the end of the plank.
- two equally long, spaced parallel planks can be provided, which are attached to one or more correspondingly elongated cross struts.
- the length of the planks is preferably chosen such that it is an integral fraction of the distance from eaves to eaves or from eaves to ridge of the weather protection roof according to the invention.
- the distance from eaves to ridge or from eaves to eaves can be completely overcome by means of a bridge made of similar elements without significant gaps, for example in the area of the ridge between two partial webs abutting there or on the eaves between an access scaffold and the beginning of the Pads remain.
- the width of the element which is essentially given by the length of the cross struts, preferably corresponds to the distance between two adjacent roof trusses. This enables the web elements to be hung on the top chord of the roof truss at their connection points with the transverse purlins or diagonal struts, so that the fastening elements of the web elements are supported both on the top chord and on the purlins or diagonal struts running transversely thereto. This enables a stable, securely tensioned support of the web elements.
- the fastening means used for hanging are attached or shaped to the struts carrying the running area, in particular the cross struts carrying the longitudinal plank.
- the fastening means can consist in that the end region of the struts is bent essentially at a right angle. This has the advantage of being easy to manufacture, but enables under certain circumstances not an adaptation of the dimensions and relative distances of the fastening means to the conditions of the weather protection roof, in particular the fixed points preferably used for hanging, namely the connection points between the top flange of the roof trusses and purlins or diagonal struts.
- retaining clips can be provided on the underside of the (cross) struts, for example by welding or screwing. These can also be cross-shaped, so that they enclose a suspension point in the form of a connection point between two struts on all sides and thus enable securing or power transmission from the web to the truss structure in all directions of the tangential plane of the roof even with a single fastening element.
- the cross struts of the web elements according to the invention have pipe connectors, preferably those in the form of top-mounted, that is to say pointing away from the roof skin, hollow-cylindrical connecting pieces.
- the support web according to the invention can be arranged such that it runs parallel to one or the roof trusses. Alternatively, it can also be laid across them, for example along an eaves or a ridge. It is also possible to use a plurality of webs according to the invention which run parallel to one another or in different directions. The latter in particular allows a high degree of freedom of movement when working on the top of the weather protection roof according to the invention.
- Figure 1 is a perspective view of a first embodiment of a support web element according to the invention for a weather protection roof, which is shown in FIG in the form of end regions of two cross struts which are bent essentially at right angles.
- Web element 2 consists of the plank 21 which is attached with its ends to the two cross struts 22.
- the cross struts 22 have end regions 220 bent at right angles as means for fastening by hanging on the roof trusses and purlins or diagonal struts of the weather roof according to the invention.
- Figure 2 shows a perspective view of a second embodiment of a support web element for a weather protection roof according to the invention from below, in which the fastening means are holding claws connected to the end regions of the cross struts.
- the web element 2 'according to the second embodiment largely corresponds to the first embodiment in its construction from a plank 21, which is attached and fastened with its two ends to a cross strut 22, but has the cross struts on the underside at the location of bent end regions as fastening means U-shaped retaining claws 225.
- the cross section of the cross struts is shown here as a rectangle, but is largely arbitrary in the context of the present invention as long as the cross strut can provide the necessary load.
- cylindrical pipe connectors 24 are placed or formed, on which the struts of a railing can be inserted.
- the stiffening means 241 are provided. They are arranged in pairs on diametrically opposite sides of the cylindrical pipe connector and, as shown here, are preferably oriented along the longitudinal axis of the cross strut 22, since the largest in this (transverse) direction do not otherwise occur in the web and thus in the weather protection roof derived forces.
- the stiffening means 241 can be designed as stiffening triangles connected to the pipe connector or the cross strut in each case with the cathets. Alternatively, a design as a rod-like struts would also be conceivable.
- FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of a third embodiment of a support web element according to the invention for a weather protection roof which is designed as a double element with extended cross struts and two parallel planks fastened thereon.
- the web element 2 "of the third embodiment differs from that of the second by elongated cross struts 22 and an additional plank 21, which is attached parallel to the first and spaced apart on the cross struts 22.
- lower-side holding claws 229 are used for fastening to the weather protection roof by attaching the retaining claws to suitable fixed points, such as the purlins or the connection points between the purlins and the top chords of the roof trusses.
- the retaining claws here are L-shaped.
- the cross struts 22 of the web element 2 each have pipe connectors 24 at both ends for connecting the posts of a railing 25.
- the connection between the pipe connectors 24 and the cross struts can by stiffening means, such as in Figure 2 Struts 241 shown, are stiffened in order to prepare the railing for the safe connection of personal safety equipment of the persons located on the support web.
- Weather protection roof 1 comprises several, shown here are five parallel, spaced roof trusses 11, which are connected to a truss structure via transverse purlins 13 and diagonal struts 14 that absorb shear forces.
- webs 2, 2 'and 2 are made of web elements of the three embodiments from FIGS Figures 1-3 hung up.
- the elements of the second and third embodiment run along the roof truss.
- the length of the planks corresponds to twice the distance between neighboring purlins.
- the support in the direction of the roof slope or in the direction of the webs takes place on the purlins 13, the connection points of which form the suspension points with the upper straps of the roof trusses 11.
- the web elements according to the first embodiment with bent cross strut end regions as fastening means are perpendicular to the roof trusses 11, ie parallel to the purlins 13 and extending over two Folded roof web extending web 2.
- Their length corresponds to the distance between Adjacent roof trusses, i.e. the length of a roof panel, so that it is also possible to hang them in the connection points between roof trusses 11 and purlins 13.
- the individual web elements are thereby wedged in the directions parallel to the purlins 13 and down the sloping roof. There is no wedging in the upward direction of the roof, but here the dead weight of the web elements represents sufficient security.

Description
The present invention relates to a weather protection roof made of several roof trusses in truss construction, each with an upper chord, which span a roof skin between them, and are connected to one another via purlins running transversely to the roof trusses, the weather protection roof having at least one detachably attached web for carrying out assembly or Cleaning work in the roof area is equipped.
As temporary roofing for construction sites or at events, weather protection roofs are known, which consist of a truss structure that comprise two or more roof trusses running parallel to one another, which are connected via transverse purlins and diagonal struts to absorb shear forces acting in the longitudinal direction of the roof trusses. Each roof truss is usually a lattice girder, which often has a kink in a ridge area and has at least two straps, an upper and a lower chord, with one of the straps, usually the upper chord, having laterally extending welt rails for pulling the welt on the edge between them each has adjacent roof trusses clamped roof skin elements. These half-timbered roof constructions are stored at the desired height in the eaves area using scaffolding or another support.
In addition to the two-belt, however, weather protection roofs with three-belt roof trusses are also known, in which the welt rails are not carried in front of the upper belt, but rather are carried by a central belt running largely parallel between the upper and lower chords, so that the upper straps of the roof trusses finished weather protection roof run above the roof skin and protrude beyond it.
A problem that arises when such weather protection roofs are used is that they often have to be carried out when working in the roof area. This can be assembly work to assemble or dismantle the roof itself or routine maintenance or cleaning work.
The object on which the present invention is based is therefore to create a possibility of making weather protection roofs of the known type described easily accessible from the top, so that cleaning and installation work can also be carried out there with the roof skin clamped in place.
This object is achieved by a weather protection roof according to claim 1, which has an upper support web.
The support web of the weather protection roof according to the invention is a web with a running area, which is releasably attached to the top of the weather protection roof by means of support and fastening means.
The running area can have the shape of a rectangular plank defining a longitudinal direction, that is to say a wooden or metal board or lattice which is significantly longer than it is wide, for example a covering used in scaffolding. However, it is also conceivable to design the running area as a platform which has no clear preferred direction, that is to say is as wide as it is long. The shape of the running area is arbitrary within the scope of the present invention, it could also be polygonal, oval or round, but due to the simplified manufacture and improved modularity, the rectangular shape is appropriate.
The support web according to the invention can be constructed from several elements, each of which comprises its own running area or a running area segment, for example a plank and its own support and fastening means. Individual elements can then be positioned on the top of the weather protection roof in such a way that they result in a web of the desired size and the desired course.
A single web element is constructed in such a way that the running area segment rests or is fastened on struts arranged on the underside and running parallel to the roof skin, the struts having the fastening means necessary for a secure hold. These can take the form of end regions of the bends which are bent down essentially at right angles Struts or also on the underside, such as screwed or welded holding claws.
A frequently used, preferred construction of a web element provides a running area in the form of an elongated plank, which is supported on one or two cross strut (s) fastened near the end of the plank.
The support web of the weather protection roof according to the invention can run, for example, along a roof truss from the eaves to the middle of the roof, or, in the case of a ridge roof, to the ridge. A web running from eaves to eaves along a roof truss can also be used, with a ridge roof either using a special element with a bent running area, or two separate webs starting from the eaves and colliding on the ridge.
Due to the solution according to the invention of placing the web or the web elements on top of the roof, in contrast to the solutions known in the prior art, it is now also possible to use webs which do not run parallel to one of the truss roof trusses, but in at an angle (other than zero). For example, the web elements can be placed running transversely to the roof trusses, for example along the eaves or along a ridge or between them. In principle, diagonal courses are also conceivable. Such courses of the web could not be realized according to the mounting webs attached to the side of the roof trusses by means of a supporting structure, as proposed in the prior art.
A major advantage of the present invention, however, can be seen in the fact that the web is attached above the roof skin, and thus safe access is created for work there, be it cleaning or clearing work on or on the roof skin top, be it assembly work, on the weather protection roof itself or otherwise.
Another advantage over the known solutions is that the support web according to the invention can be installed at any time before or after the roof skin is drawn in, whereas in the prior art a certain sequence must be followed if the web elements are to be brought into position by means of a crane.
Furthermore, further advantageous embodiments of the present invention are presented, which can be combined with one another in a suitable manner, provided that they are not obviously mutually exclusive.
The support web of the weather roof according to the invention is preferably constructed from a plurality of elements which, when positioned accordingly on the top of the roof, result in the web with its desired course.
A frequently used, preferred construction of a web element provides a running area in the form of an elongated plank, which is supported on one or two cross strut (s) fastened near the end of the plank.
Alternatively, two equally long, spaced parallel planks can be provided, which are attached to one or more correspondingly elongated cross struts.
The length of the planks is preferably chosen such that it is an integral fraction of the distance from eaves to eaves or from eaves to ridge of the weather protection roof according to the invention. As a result, the distance from eaves to ridge or from eaves to eaves can be completely overcome by means of a bridge made of similar elements without significant gaps, for example in the area of the ridge between two partial webs abutting there or on the eaves between an access scaffold and the beginning of the Pads remain.
The width of the element, which is essentially given by the length of the cross struts, preferably corresponds to the distance between two adjacent roof trusses.
The fastening means used for hanging are attached or shaped to the struts carrying the running area, in particular the cross struts carrying the longitudinal plank. The fastening means can consist in that the end region of the struts is bent essentially at a right angle.
As an alternative or in addition, retaining clips can be provided on the underside of the (cross) struts, for example by welding or screwing. These can also be cross-shaped, so that they enclose a suspension point in the form of a connection point between two struts on all sides and thus enable securing or power transmission from the web to the truss structure in all directions of the tangential plane of the roof even with a single fastening element.
For safety reasons, a railing on the edge can be provided at least on one side of the running area. Security is improved even further by a railing on both sides or on all sides. For this purpose, the cross struts of the web elements according to the invention have pipe connectors, preferably those in the form of top-mounted, that is to say pointing away from the roof skin, hollow-cylindrical connecting pieces.
The support web according to the invention can be arranged such that it runs parallel to one or the roof trusses. Alternatively, it can also be laid across them, for example along an eaves or a ridge. It is also possible to use a plurality of webs according to the invention which run parallel to one another or in different directions. The latter in particular allows a high degree of freedom of movement when working on the top of the weather protection roof according to the invention.
