Description

The invention relates to bedding made of a cover and a mixed fiber fleece as bedding filling according to the preamble of the first protection claim.

A mixed fiber fleece and a method for its production are known, EP 1 641 972 B1 , which, as bedding filling, consists of a mixture of polyester fibers and kapok fibers, so that this mixed fiber fleece satisfies essential requirements with regard to lasting loft and freedom from house dust mites, which are each provided by one of the mixed fiber fleece components involved.

There are also bedding fillings with the main components cellulose, kapok and virgin wool known, DE 20 2005 019 987.7 , which are also fleece to one another, with the new wool in particular serving to maintain the bulge.

However, people who do not want to know that their bedding contains synthetic fibers or who cannot tolerate pure natural fibers or animal hair such as sheep's wool or camel hair cannot be helped with such well-known bedding fillings made of polyester or polyamide fleeces or fleeces made of sharp or camel wool.

There are textiles with increased capacity for latent heat storage for bedding known, DE 20 2007 001 699 U1 which, however, are combined with unspecific bedding fillings, so that this does not help the aforementioned group of people. Also a well-known mixed fiber fleece or fabric, WO 2005/005703 A1 , consists only of the main components lyocell fibers from cellulose fibers produced using a solvent process and pure natural fibers from kapok, just like another well-known filling consists of a binary mixture of linen and wild side, DE 20 2009 009 277 U1 Both of the aforementioned documents do not have any bed fillings with additional temperature regulating properties to improve a sleeping environment.

The object of the invention is to provide bedding, including duvets, lower beds and pillows, which does not contain any synthetic fibers and which is also free of any type of animal hair and is therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers and which creates a positive sleeping environment.

The solution to this problem results in connection with the features of the preamble of the first protection claim in that the mixed fiber fleece with the exclusion of synthetic fibers and animal hair consists of at least linen fibers and regenerated cellulose fibers equipped with phase change material.

This creates a positive sleeping climate in a bed based on natural plant material and its advantageous properties, as sleeping in natural materials and in a bacteriologically harmless and optimally climate-regulated environment has been shown to have a relaxing effect on a sleeping person.

With the invention, a mixed fiber fleece is made available, which consists primarily of the natural plant fiber linen, which has its origin in the flax plant and a cellulose regenerated fiber, which has its origin in wood, such as that of the eucalyptus tree. The linen fiber is one of the oldest plants cultivated by humans and can absorb up to 35% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp and this moisture is also released back into the surrounding air very quickly, which makes such linen fibers particularly suitable for the Use in a mixed fiber fleece for bedding, especially because they also have bactericidal properties, inhibit itching, burning and inflammatory diseases, are smooth, naturally waxed and therefore lint-free, as well as antistatic and dirt-repellent. Linen fibers offer many other advantages, apart from their warming properties, which otherwise could only be achieved with chemical additives, but which should be avoided if possible with due consideration for allergy-related side effects.

Therefore, according to the invention, regenerated cellulose, which is additionally equipped with a phase change material - PCM material, which is present in a solid state in the cold state and liquefies in a heated state, offers itself as the warming portion of the mixed fiber fleece according to the invention it absorbs heat, which it gives off again when the outside temperature gets cooler and when it changes to the solid state, so that the regenerated cellulose fiber not only provides the required warming properties, but also has an excellent temperature regulation property, which provides an optimal microclimate in one Equipped bedding filling is generated, for example, first of all to absorb the excess heat generated by the body of a sleeper and to store it chemically and to generate this heat again in colder ambient conditions and to return it to the sleeper.

The PCM material consists essentially of paraffin bound in micro-capsules, which is non-migrating, i.e. remains permanently in the regenerated cellulose fiber, so that this heat conversion effect is maintained over the entire life of a bedding.

Further advantageous configurations of the subject matter of the invention emerge with and in combination from the following subclaims.

According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the proportion of linen in the mixed fiber fleece is up to 90%, with its minimum proportion being 20%, in order to achieve the desired effects, such as moisture absorption, in the best possible way.

The proportion of regenerated cellulose in the mixed fiber fleece is up to 80%, but at least up to 10%, with this regenerated cellulose proportion also serving to maintain a bulking power that is essentially lacking in the linen component in the mixed fiber fleece.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the regenerated cellulose fiber consists of a lyocell fiber in which the PCM material is incorporated directly when the fiber is spun. In addition to the excellent heat storage function, the regenerated cellulose fiber for its part also has perfect moisture management, which means that the bedding according to the invention clearly stands out from known bedding fillings.

The homogeneous fleece also leads to an even distribution of heat and thus provides optimal sleeping experiences without containing allergenic substances.

For optimal interlacing of the linen fibers and the regenerated cellulose fibers, these are processed together in a fiber opening system with several fiber opening rollers to form the homogeneous mixed fiber fleece, whereby after opening a layer of the mixed fiber fleece with a weight of only 10 g / m 3 is created so that several can be used as bedding Layers of the mixed fiber fleece are arranged crosswise on top of one another and somewhat compressed, so that the multilayer mixed fiber fleece as bedding filling then has a weight of 100 to 400 g / m 3 , which overall is still very bulky. The air contained in the pad strengthens the advantages of the individual components over the entire mixed fiber fleece and the advantages of the bedding made from it.

In a further particularly preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, the cover is also not made of synthetic fibers or animal hair, but either of pure linen in a very fine quality or it also consists of a mixed fabric with at least 10% linen, with a remainder being cotton whose share is max. 90%.

The bedding according to the invention thus provides a very effective alternative to known bedding in the allergy area, as well as a combination of completely synthetic fiber-free materials in a combination with mutually complementary advantages.
