Lifting mechanism (1) comprising a shelf (2) for installation in a drawer or in a body of a piece of furniture or domestic appliance, comprising a pair of mechanisms for raising and lowering the shelf (2), wherein one of the mechanisms is arranged in each case on one side of the shelf (2) and wherein the two mechanisms are coupled to one another via a synchronization rod (5), characterized in that the length (LS) of the synchronization rod (5) is variably adjustable, wherein the lifting mechanism comprises a scissor mechanism (3, 4) with two pairs of crossed and mutually rotatably connected scissor levers (31, 32, 41, 42) for raising and lowering the shelf (2), wherein a respective first scissor lever (31, 41) is arranged on the shelf (2) in a stationary and rotatable manner at a first end (311, 411) on the shelf (2) and a respective second scissor lever (32, 42) is arranged on the shelf (2) in a rotatable and displaceable manner at a first end (321, 421), wherein a second end (312, 412) of the first scissor lever (31, 41) can be arranged rotatably and displaceably and a second end (322, 422) of the second scissor lever (32, 42) can be arranged fixedly and rotatably on the drawer or the body of the furniture or domestic appliance, and wherein the second ends (312, 412) of the first scissor lever (31, 41) are coupled to one another via a synchronization rod (5).
  2. Lifting mechanism according to claim 1, characterized in that the synchronization rod (5) is designed as a telescopic rod.
  3. Lifting mechanism according to claim 2, characterized in that the synchronization rod (5) comprises at least one first rod (51) having a plurality of latching element receptacles (53) and at least one second rod (52) having at least one projecting latching element (54).
  4. Lifting mechanism according to claim 3, characterized in that the latching element receptacles (53) form a perforated strip and the at least one latching element (54) is designed as a pin which can be pressed resiliently into the second rod (52).
  5. Lifting mechanism according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a handle (6) is fastened to a free end, pivotable by a user, of at least one pivot lever (33, 43) coupled to a pair of the scissor levers (31, 32, 41, 42).
  6. Lifting mechanism according to claim 5, characterized in that the handle (6) is telescopically constructed in the longitudinal direction so as to connect two pivot levers (33, 43) arranged on opposite sides of the shelf (2) to one another.
  7. Lifting mechanism according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a gearwheel (55) is arranged in each case at the ends of the synchronization rod (5), which gearwheel engages in a rack (82) fixed in the drawer or the body of the furniture or domestic appliance.
  8. Piece of furniture or domestic appliance having a body and a lifting mechanism (1) which is fastened to the body and has a shelf (2), wherein the shelf (2) is liftable and lowerable via the lifting mechanism (1), characterized in that the lifting mechanism (1) is designed in accordance with one of claims 1 to 7.
  9. Piece of furniture or domestic appliance having a body, comprising at least one drawer which can be pulled out of the body, characterized in that at least one lifting mechanism (1) with a shelf (2) according to one of claims 1 to 7 is incorporated in the or at least one drawer.
  10. Piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to claim 9, characterized in that the lifting mechanism (1) is installed in the drawer in such a way that the first guide rail (8) of the lifting mechanism (1) is aligned perpendicularly to the pull-out direction of the drawer.
  11. Piece of furniture or domestic appliance having a body and a lifting mechanism (1) which is fastened to the body and has a shelf (2), wherein the shelf (2) is liftable and lowerable via the lifting mechanism (1), wherein the lifting mechanism comprises a pair of sliding and pivoting mechanisms, one of which is arranged on each side of the shelf (2), having at least two pivot arms (103, 104) rotatably fixed to one of the side walls of the body with a first end parallel to the plane of the side walls and arranged spaced apart parallel to one another, wherein at respective second ends of the pivot arms (103, 104) a guide rail (105) is pivotably fixed in such a way parallel to the plane of the side walls that the guide rail (105) can be pivoted from a lower position within the body into a raised, upper position at least partially outside the body, at least one running rail (106) which can be displaced linearly in the guide rail (105) and to which the shelf (2) is fastened, and wherein the second ends of the pivot arms (103, 104) are coupled to one another via a synchronization rod (116), characterized in that the synchronization rod (116) is variably adjustable in length.
  12. Piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to claim 11, characterized in that the synchronization rod (116) is designed as a telescopic rod.
  13. Piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to claim 12, characterized in that the synchronization rod (116) comprises at least one first rod (164) having a plurality of latching element receptacles (162) and at least one second rod (165) having at least one projecting latching element (163).
  14. Piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to claim 13, characterized in that the latching element receptacles (162) form a perforated strip and the at least one latching element (163) is designed as a pin which can be pressed resiliently into the second rod (165).
  15. Drawer having a front panel, two side frames, a base and a lifting mechanism (1) with a shelf (2), wherein the shelf (2) is liftable and lowerable via the lifting mechanism, characterized by at least one lifting mechanism according to one of claims 1 to 7 which is arranged in a receiving space, in particular on a base of the drawer.
