Das Rastmittel 5 umfasst dabei einen Grundkörper 6, welcher bevorzugt lösbar an dem ersten Schienenelement 2 befestigt ist, und zwei an den Grundkörper 6 angrenzende federelastische Fortsätze 7 und 8. Die, z.B. aus Metall oder Kunststoff bestehenden, federelastischen Fortsätze 7 und 8 sind dabei gemäß der dargestellten Ausführungsvariante einstückig mit dem Grundkörper 6 ausgeführt und bandförmig ausgestaltet. An den, dem Grundkörper 6 abgewandten Endbereichen der federelastischen Fortsätze 7 und 8 sind jeweils Federaugen 9 bzw. 10 ausgebildet, welche durch entsprechendes Aufrollen der bandförmigen Fortsätze 7 bzw. 8 erzeugbar sind. Die Federaugen 9 und 10 bilden dabei Rastbereiche 11 bzw. 12 des Rastmittels 5 in Form von Rastvorsprüngen 13 bzw. 14. Bei der dargestellten Ausführungsvariante sind die Rastvorsprünge 13 und 14. jeweils einstückig mit den Fortsätzen 7 bzw. 8 ausgebildet.
