Un tel tablier comporte une pluralité de portions qui sont articulées deux à deux dont une portion finale. Ces portions sont constituées, chacune, par une section, notamment adoptant la forme d'un panneau, en sorte de définir un tablier de porte de garage sectionnelle. Ce tablier peut être complété par des moyens d'entraînement motorisés qui comportent, d'une part, un moteur usuellement fixé au plafond du garage ou sur une structure fixée au plafond et/ou sur les murs du garage et, d'autre part, un organe de transmission, en prise avec le tablier et avec le moteur, et configuré pour exercer une traction sur ce tablier en vue de le replier ainsi que pour exercer une répulsion sur ce tablier en vue de le déployer. Un tel moteur et un tel organe de transmission représentent un encombrement conséquent dont on ne dispose pas toujours pour leur implantation dans un garage. A contrario, lorsque le tablier est éloigné du plafond du garage, il est nécessaire de recourir à une structure additionnelle, qui est rendue solidaire de ce plafond et/ou des murs du garage, et de laquelle ledit moteur est rendu solidaire. Un tel tablier comporte, là encore, une pluralité de portions qui sont articulées deux à deux dont une portion finale. Ces portions de tablier sont constituées, chacune, par une lame de tablier. Ce tablier peut être complété, d'une part, par un tube d'enroulement sur lequel s'enroulent et à partir duquel se déroulent les lames du tablier et, d'autre part, par des moyens d'entraînement motorisés de ce tube d'enroulement, ces moyens d'entraînement pouvant, avantageusement, être implantés à l'intérieur du tube d'enroulement. En position repliée du tablier, les lames de ce tablier sont enroulées sur le tube d'enroulement et l'ensemble, constitué par ce tube d'enroulement et ces lames, vient se loger à l'intérieur d'un caisson de volet roulant.
