Claims (12)

  1. A shower enclosure (1) with at least one shower door (2) including a planar or bent pane (3), which door is pivotable so as to close or release an entrance opening at least in part, and which is supported by a first holding rod (4) equipped at one end with a floor attachment (5) suitable to rest upon a floor (7), upon the edge of a shower tray or similar, and at the other end with a wall holding device (6) or a ceiling holding device, wherein
    the holding rod (4) includes at least two cross beams (9, 9') spaced apart from one another, which each are supported by means of an articulation (10) on this holding rod (4) so as to be pivotable around the longitudinal axis (13) of the holding rod (4), and are attached by means of a suspension (11) to the pane (3) of the shower door (2) at a distance from the side edge (12) of the pane (3),
    characterized in that the first holding rod (4) is arranged in the interior of the shower and is connected to a rail rod (56) extending perpendicular thereto,
    the rail rod (56) is connected to the holding rod (4) at one end and includes a wall support at the other end.
