Entsprechende Auftraggeräte werden auch "Ventilmarker" genannt. Sie beinhalten üblicherweise flüssiges Auftragsmedium mit vergleichsweise hohem Anteil an Pigmenten, d.h. stark pigmentierte Tinten. Aus diesem Grund befinden sich innerhalb des Reservoirs lose darin enthaltene Mischkörper (z.B. Kugeln), die eine durch Schütteln des Auftraggeräts erfolgende Durchmischung des flüssigen Auftragsmediums im Reservoir bewirken. Um flüssiges Auftragsmedium vom Reservoir zum Auftragelement zu befördern, wird bei derartigen Auftraggeräten die Ventileinrichtung vom Nutzer üblicherweise mehrfach betätigt. Durch dieses "Pumpen" kann flüssiges Auftragsmedium vom Reservoir zum Auftragelement nachgeführt werden. Derartige Auftraggeräte werden vor allem zum Aufbringen von Lacken auf Oberflächen zu Dekorationszwecken, Markierungszwecken und/oder Ausbesserungszwecken verwendet. Derartige Auftraggeräte können ebenso gut auch im Bereich der Kosmetik oder Medizin eingesetzt werden. Im kapillaren Auftragelement sollte bei der Nutzung idealerweise nur so viel flüssiges Auftragsmedium vorhanden sein, dass ein kontinuierlicher gleichmäßiger Auftrag gewährleistet ist. Claims (18)
einem Reservoir (2) zur Bevorratung des Auftragmediums in dem Auftraggerät (1),
einem Mundstück (4) am vorderen Bereich des Auftraggeräts (1),
einem Auftragelement (6) zur Bereitstellung des Auftragmediums zum Auftrag auf die Oberfläche durch Kontaktierung letzterer, wobei das Auftragelement (6) mit dem Auftragmedium aus dem Reservoir (2) versorgt ist und vorderseitig aus dem Mundstück (4) herausragt,
einer Ventileinrichtung (5) zur Steuerung des Zuflusses des Auftragmediums hin zum Auftragelement (6),
einem beweglichen, im Inneren der Ventileinrichtung (5) befindlichen Funktionselement (7), sowie
einer außen am Auftraggerät (1) befindlichen, manuell betätigbaren Handhabe zur Betätigung des Funktionselements (7), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Handhabe und das Funktionselement (7) miteinander über eine mechanische kraftschlüssige Verbindung in Verbindung stehen und
durch Betätigung der Handhabe das Funktionselement (7) in Längsrichtung des Auftraggeräts (1) verschiebbar ist.Applicator (1) for applying a medium of liquid or pasty consistency to a surface

a mouthpiece (4) at the front of the applicator (1),
an applicator element (6) for providing the application medium for application to the surface by contacting the latter, wherein the applicator element (6) is supplied with the application medium from the reservoir (2) and protrudes from the front side of the mouthpiece (4),
a valve device (5) for controlling the inflow of the application medium towards the applicator element (6),
a movable, in the interior of the valve means (5) located functional element (7), and
an externally on the applicator (1) located, manually operable handle for actuating the functional element (7), characterized in that
the handle and the functional element (7) communicate with each other via a mechanical frictional connection and
by operation of the handle, the functional element (7) in the longitudinal direction of the applicator (1) is displaceable.
