Genauso ist es möglich, etwa eine Förderein- richtung als Ablagevorrichtung zu verwenden, welche etwa die Werkstücke 7 in der Richtung X und/oder Y oder auch im Kreis fördert. Zwischen Puffer 1 und Ablagevorrichtung 4 ist erfindungsgemaß der Roboter 2 angeordnet, welcher über einen Roboterarm 3 verfügt, mit dessen Hilfe man ein Werkstück 7 greifen kann. Im gezeigten Beispiel ist der Roboter 2 auf einer Führungseinrichtung 6 gelagert, bei der es sich beispielsweise um Schienen handeln kann. Auf der Führungseinrichtung 6 ist der Roboter in Richtung X parallel zur Ablagevorrichtung 4 verschieblich. Auf diese Weise kann der Roboter 2 die Ablagen 41 bis 44 der Ablagevorrichtung 4 anfahren und Werkstücke 7 darauf ablegen und/oder von diesen Ablagen aufnehmen. Der Aktionsbereich des Roboters 2 ist durch die Linie 5 angedeutet. Der Roboter 2 ist daher in der Lage, jeden Punkt inner- halb der Linie 5 anzufahren. Die über die Zuführeinrichtung 8 in den Puffer 1 gelangenden Werkstücke werden mittels des Roboters 2 aus dem Puffer 1 entnommen und entweder an einer anderen Stelle im Puffer 1 wieder abgelegt oder vom Roboter 2 zu einer Ablage 41 bis 44 der Ablagevorrichtung 4 transportiert und dort abgelegt. Ebenso können auf eine der Ablagen 41 bis 44 abgelegte Werkstücke 7 vom Roboter 2 von der Ablage entnommen und beispielsweise zurück in den Puffer 1 verbracht werden. Möglich ist auch, dass der Roboter 2 ein Schutzmaterial aus einem (nicht gezeigten) SchutzmaterialVorrat entnimmt und auf einem auf der Ablage 41 bis 44 liegenden Werkstück 7 ablegt.
