This allows the recoil of the weapon despite the presence of rigid corridors.
- the decline is of the order of 10 to 30mm for medium-caliber automatic weapons.
- the mouth 17a or 17b also has a transverse clearance J relative to the first rigid passage 8a or 8b.
- a global game is of the order of 10 mm. It is distributed on either side of the rigid corridor 8a or 8b and allows the interference-free tilting of the second rigid corridor 16a, 16b with respect to the first rigid corridor 8a, 8b.
- the rigid corridors 8a, 8b, 16a and 16b are connected to the oscillating support of the weapon 1 by means not shown and they therefore pivot with this support during pointing in site.
- FIGS. 4a and 4b show the upper part of the right supply path 7a, showing the second rigid passage 16a and its cooperation with the first rigid passage 8a. It is clear that the figure would be similar for the left feed channel 7b, which is symmetrical with the right lane relative to the vertical plane passing through the axis 3 of the barrel of the weapon. As seen more particularly in Figures 4a and 4b, the mouth 17a (or 17b) can cap the outlet opening 15a (or 15b) of the first rigid passage 8a (or 8b) both in the position in the arm tilting ( Figure 4b) only in the unobstructed position of the tilting arm ( Figure 4a). Such an arrangement ensures that the ammunition 4 of the band is always positioned within a rigid corridor.
- the depth P of the flared portion 19a (or 19b) will be sufficient to provide such a function. It is also noted in Figures 4a and 4b that the mouth 17a (or 17b) has a clearance 20a (or 20b) at its upper face. Such an arrangement, associated with the presence of the flared portion 19a (or 19b), allows tilting of the arm without interference with the first rigid passage 8a (or 8b).
- the clearance 20a or 20b also allows access to the ammunition strip to be able to push manually during the initial loading.
