Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of vacuum cleaners equipped with a vacuum cleaner nozzle, also called a suction head, making it possible to suck up dust and small-particle waste present on a surface.
  • Vacuum cleaners equipped with a vacuum cleaner nozzle are well known on the market, these making it possible to clean surfaces by suction for the evacuation of dust and waste of small particle size resting thereon.
  • the surface to be vacuumed can for example be tiles, parquet, laminate, carpet or carpet.
  • a vacuum cleaner nozzle traditionally comprises a connecting sleeve and a sole provided with a lower face and a suction channel communicating with the connecting sleeve and opening onto the lower face of the sole.
  • the underside of the sole is intended to be positioned adjacent to the surface to be vacuumed during use of the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
  • the sole of the vacuum cleaner nozzle can for example be provided with a suction channel extending transversely to a direction of movement of the vacuum cleaner nozzle, and with a front sliding surface and a rear sliding surface located on either side of the suction channel.
  • Such a configuration of the vacuum cleaner nozzle induces a greater suction pressure in the central part of the suction channel than in the side portions of the suction channel, and this because the suction channel is connected to the sleeve connecting via a connecting conduit opening into the central part of the suction channel.
  • This difference suction between the central part of the sole and the lateral edges of the latter can be a source of dissatisfaction for a user.
  • EP 2 989 954 A1 discloses a vacuum cleaner nozzle comprising a sole which has a rear sliding surface and a rear part separated by a convex connecting surface.
  • WO 2016 / 141 959 A1 discloses a vacuum cleaner nozzle comprising a sole which has a rear sliding surface with a straight front edge substantially parallel to the direction of extension of the suction channel.
  • the present invention aims to remedy all or part of these drawbacks.
  • the technical problem underlying the invention consists in particular in providing a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a reliable and economical structure, while guaranteeing improved suction performance.
  • the present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle comprising a sole provided with a lower face and a suction channel opening onto the lower face and extending in a direction of extension which is substantially transverse to a direction of movement of the vacuum cleaner nozzle, the suction channel comprising a front edge and a rear edge, the underside comprising a rear sliding surface and a front sliding surface situated on opposite sides of the suction channel suction, characterized in that the underside of the sole comprises a rear part, preferably planar, set back from the rear sliding surface and a connecting surface connecting the rear sliding surface to the rear part, and in that the bonding surface is convex, a convexity of the bonding surface being oriented away from the suction channel.
  • the vacuum cleaner nozzle may further have one or more of the following features, taken alone or in combination.
  • the connecting surface connects the rear sliding surface to the rear part so as to form a clearance at the rear of the rear sliding surface.
  • the connecting surface is curved.
  • the connecting surface is convex, and for example curved, seen in a plane passing through the front and rear edges of the suction channel.
  • the connecting surface is convex, and for example curved, from a first side part of the sole to a second side part of the sole which is opposite the first side part.
  • the rear sliding surface has a rear edge which is curvilinear, and preferably rounded.
  • the rear sliding surface has a front edge substantially parallel to the direction of extension of the suction channel.
  • the front edge of the rear sliding surface is substantially rectilinear.
  • the connecting surface extends over substantially the entire length of the sole.
  • the connecting surface extends from a first side edge of the sole to a second side edge of the sole.
  • the connecting surface is convex, and for example curved, from the first side edge of the sole to the second side edge of the sole.
  • the rear sliding surface comprises a central portion and two lateral portions arranged on either side of the central portion, the two lateral portions of the rear sliding surface being adjacent respectively to two opposite end portions of the suction channel, the rear sliding surface having a width which decreases from the central portion of the rear sliding surface toward each of the ends of the side portions of the rear sliding surface.
  • the rear edge of the suction channel is substantially parallel to the front edge of the suction channel.
  • the rear sliding surface is inclined with respect to the horizontal by an angle of inclination comprised between 2 and 5°, and for example between 2.5 and 3°, when the front and rear edges of the suction channel are arranged in a substantially horizontal plane.
  • the rear sliding surface is substantially planar.
  • the front sliding surface is inclined with respect to the horizontal by an angle of inclination comprised between 2 and 5°, and for example between 2 and 3°, when the front edges and rear of the suction channel are arranged in a substantially horizontal plane.
  • the front sliding surface is substantially planar.
  • the sole comprises a rear scraping rib protruding from the rear sliding surface and intended to scrape a floor to be cleaned, the rear scraping rib extending near and along the edge back of the suction channel.
  • the sole comprises support surfaces arranged to be in contact with the ground to be cleaned, the rear scraping rib being positioned set back from the support surfaces so as to be located at a distance of the floor to be cleaned when the support surfaces are in contact with the floor to be cleaned and the floor to be cleaned is smooth.
  • Such a configuration of the rear scraping rib and the support surfaces makes it possible to avoid contact between the rear scraping rib and the floor to be cleaned when using the vacuum cleaner nozzle on a smooth floor, in particular when the brushes of the vacuum cleaner nozzle are not taken out if the latter is provided with them, and therefore to preserve the integrity of the rear scraper rib.
  • the vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the present invention therefore makes it possible to ensure, over time, optimized scraping of the soft floors to be cleaned.
  • the support surfaces are arranged on the sole so as to guarantee a positive predetermined distance between the floor to be cleaned and the rear scraping rib, at least when the floor to be cleaned is smooth.
  • the rear scraper rib is arranged at a predetermined distance from a bearing plane defined in part by the bearing surfaces.
  • the predetermined distance is between 0.5 and 2 mm, and for example between 0.5 and 1 mm.
  • the support surfaces are formed by support rollers.
  • the bearing surfaces are arranged at the rear of the suction channel.
  • the rear scraping rib is located at the intersection of the underside of the sole and a rear side wall of the suction channel.
  • the rear scraping rib extends in continuity with the rear side wall of the suction channel.
  • the support surfaces are arranged at the level of the rear sliding surface.
  • the rear scraper rib has a height of between 0.3 and 0.9 mm.
  • the rear scraping rib has a thickness between 0.4 and 0.6 mm.
  • the sole further comprises a connection sleeve configured to communicate with the suction channel, and a fork arranged between the sole and the connection sleeve, the connection sleeve being pivotally mounted on the fork around a first transverse pivot axis and the fork being pivotally mounted on the sole around a second transverse pivot axis.
  • the vacuum cleaner nozzle further comprises at least one brush movable between a lowered position in which the at least one brush is positioned projecting from the underside of the sole, and a position raised in which the at least one brush is positioned set back from the underside of the sole.
  • the vacuum cleaner nozzle comprises displacement wheels which can for example be mounted on the fork, and advantageously on each side of the fork.
  • the transport wheels and the support surfaces define the support plane.
  • the sole comprises a front scraping edge intended to scrape the ground to be cleaned, the rear scraping rib and the front scraping edge being arranged on either side of the channel of suction.
  • the front scraping edge is located at the intersection of the underside of the sole and a front side wall of the suction channel.
  • the rear scraper rib extends over at least half the length of the suction channel, and for example over substantially the entire length of the suction channel.
  • the suction channel has a height which decreases from a central portion of the suction channel and towards each of the opposite end portions of the suction channel.
  • the rear sliding surface extends from the rear edge of the suction channel, and the sliding surface front extends from the front edge of the suction channel.
