Abstract

Background of the invention

The preservation and transport of timepieces or jewelery require adapted packaging, for the protection of these objects often very expensive. These packages are likely to undergo strong dynamic constraints, especially during travel or shipments, with changes in position in space and strong gradients of speeds and accelerations.

Padded cases, adapted to the precise dimensions of the objects, can allow, when they are new, a correct protection. However cellulite, especially plastic foams, age poorly and degrade over time, thus no longer ensuring optimal stabilization. Moreover these boxes are dedicated to a particular shape and object dimensions, and are therefore not versatile, which is not practical when it comes to go on a trip and take away several watches or jewelry, and that the user does not want to occupy all the space of his luggage with several unitary boxes, which, moreover, often have a large external dimensions.

The invention relates to a pocket watch 1 for a timepiece or jewelery piece 10. By "pocket box", it is meant that this case 1 is arranged to be handled with one hand, to be carried easily on a trip, on self or in luggage. This box 2 is arranged to enclose at least one support 3 for receiving at least one timepiece or jewelery piece 10, between at least one plate 4 and a lid 5 of the box 2.

The box 2 comprises a bottom 6, with which the lid 5 cooperates for the closure of the box 1.

According to the invention, at least one plate 4 and at least one support 3 are arranged for maintaining one on the other by magnetic attraction. More particularly, each plate 4 and each support 3 are arranged to hold one on the other by magnetic attraction.
