Abstract

The holder comprises a base section (20) and an upwardly projecting holder section (40), stemming from the base section, around which a band (14) from a watch (12), or similar, can be laid. The holder section comprises of a lower rigid section ring (42) detachably connected to an upper variable section ring (62). Both section rings are connectable to a receiver ring, with variable outer diameter, for a wrist watch or similar with varying band lengths. The ring ends (44,64) have differing positions. There may be a lattice template (46,66) on, at least, one, preferably both, section ring that is insertable in differing relative positions corresponding to differing outer diameter of the holder section.

Holder for wristwatches, jewelry chains and jewelry bands

The invention relates to a holder according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such holders are primarily used for wristwatches, but they are also suitable for other jewelry items such as jewelry chains and jewelry bands. The bands and the like are placed around a ring-shaped holder.

Previous holders have a fixed outer circumference and cannot be adjusted to different band lengths. This means that an optimal holder for different bands is not possible. In addition, previous holders are usually one-piece and therefore relatively bulky.

The invention is based on the problem of designing a holder according to the preamble of claim 1 in such a way that the outer circumference of the holding part is adjustable.

Preferably, the holder should be less bulky for transport and storage than existing holders. Depending on requirements, different combinations of representation should be possible. Nevertheless, a stable holder should be provided

to be possible.

The two partial rings can be locked in any position but are easily removable.

At least one partial ring, but preferably both partial rings, can have a grid pattern that can be adjusted relative to one another and locked into any position. A removable locking device can then easily fix the set locking position.

The partial rings can be rigid bands made of plastic or plexiglass, each consisting of a partially ring-shaped hook part and a straight grid part, each of which can have a grid pattern with uniform, triangular-shaped individual grids in cross-section, thus with a roughly sawtooth-shaped profile. The locking device can grip the two opposing grid parts with enough play that these grid parts can be moved against each other when not fixed. One end piece of a grid part can be thickened over an inclined connecting surface so that the two grid parts are pressed against each other to form a firm locking connection when the locking device is pushed over them, with the sawtooth-shaped transverse grooves of one grid part being pressed into the corresponding transverse grooves of the other grid part.

Each end piece of the grid parts preferably has a stop for the locking device at its end. This prevents the two partial rings from separating completely.

The holding part consisting of the two partial rings can be inclined upwards and backwards in one position, but in another position by turning the base part over it can also protrude essentially vertically upwards in order to achieve an optimal presentation, e.g. in a shop window, especially for wristwatches.

The holding part can be easily detachably attached to the base part. For this purpose, at least one, preferably continuous, longitudinal groove can be provided on the base part, into which a side bar extending downwards from a widening of the lower ring part can snap. For a more stable and height-defined connection, recessed stops can be provided on the side edges of the holding slot, which can engage with correspondingly arranged stop edges of the side bar.

The base plate of the bottom part can be trapezoidal, which means that two transverse edges of different lengths are created on the two transverse sides, one of which points forwards and the other backwards. In this way, for example,

]_5 by turning several holders next to each other by 180°, a combination of holders and the pieces of jewellery held on them, in particular wristwatches, at different angles to each other is possible.

A holding block protruding from the base plate can be provided, preferably in one piece with the base part, which can have two bevelled upper holding surfaces in which the holding slots are provided. The desired angle of the upper holding part is achieved by the bevel.

At the same time, bevelled front surfaces are created for attaching the article name, manufacturer or similar, preferably as an exchangeable sign.

In Figure 1, the holder is generally designated 10, the base part generally 20, and the holding part projecting upwards on it generally 40. A company sign 21 is arranged on a lower front surface, for example. The wider transverse edge of the base part is designated 30, a holding slot 23 is provided on the right rear, while the side strip 47 of the lower part ring 42 of the holding part 40 is inserted into the first holding slot on the left front. The lower part ring 42 consists of a lower widening 45, from which the side strip 47 leads vertically downwards to the holding slot, a rounded hook part 44 with a ring end 48 that follows upwards, and a straight rear

1 top-leading grid part 50 with grid pattern 46. A transverse slot 41 can also be seen on the hook part 44, into which the price label 43 is inserted.

The upper partial ring 62 has a hook part 64 and a straight grid part 66 with grid pattern 70 and ring end 68. A common locking device 80 is pushed over the two straight grid parts 50 ₇ 70 placed one behind the other - in a fixed locking or locking position. In order to prevent the two partial rings 42, 62 from separating completely, an end stop 56, 76 is provided in each case.

Figure 2 essentially shows the representation of Figure 1, with only the upper partial ring 62 being moved further downwards. As a further variant, the base part is turned over by 180° so that the base surface 26 is at the top and the holding block 27 is at the bottom and rests on the base at two edges which are formed by the holding surfaces 29 and front surfaces. This results in the holding part being held in a more upright position.

Figure 3 shows a holder 10 with a wristwatch 12, with the base plate 26 projecting upwards and the wider rear transverse edge of the same being inserted into a horizontal wall slot 90 to hold the entire holder, which is formed by two adjacent horizontal holding strips 92, 94. Using any number of horizontal holding strips, a large number of holders can be attached in a simple and easily detachable manner.

Figure 4 shows the individual parts of the holder, as well as a company plate 21 and a price plate 43, the base part generally designated 20 and the holding part generally designated 40.

In the bottom part 20 the base plate 26 can be seen, with the wider transverse edge 31 and the narrower transverse edge 33, a

first front surface 30 and an opposite second front surface 32, which is formed by the holding block 27 and the two holding surfaces 29 inclined at an obtuse angle to one another. The two diagonally opposite, thus offset, continuous holding slots 22, 23 can also be seen. Two transverse stops 25 and a longitudinal stop 24 are provided on three slot edges, which are lowered within the base plate 26 by the thickness of the matching stop edges 84, 85.

With regard to the upper holding part 40, reference is essentially made to the discussion in connection with Figure 1. The widening 45, the side bar 47 and the two transverse stops 84, 85 formed at their ends are more clearly visible.

Figures 5, 6, 7 show different phases of releasing the lock 80, moving the upper part ring 62 and locking it into a new, more extended position according to Figure 7.

Figure 8 shows an arrangement with three holders lying next to each other. Here, all three wide transverse edges 33 of the three trapezoidal base plates 26 point forward.

Holder for wristwatches, jewelry chains and jewelry bands, with a base part (20) and a holding part (40) projecting upwards from the base part, around which the bands (14) of wristwatches (12) and the like can be placed, characterized, that the holding part consists of a lower stationary partial ring (42) and an upper variable partial ring (62) which can be detachably connected thereto, b) that the two partial rings (42, 62) can be connected to form a receiving ring with a variable outer circumference for wristwatches (12) and the like with different strap lengths,

Holder according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the locking device (80) engages both locking parts (50, 70) in such a way that that both partial rings (42, 62) are displaceable against each other in the non-fixed state, and that the end piece (74) of one of the grid parts (70) is thickened, preferably via an inclined connecting surface (72), that the locking device (80) which can be pushed over the end piece (74) presses the two grid parts (50, 70), in particular the two interlocking grid patterns (46, 66) against each other and thereby locks them in place in an easily releasable but stable manner. 5. Holder according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterized in that both end pieces (54, 74) of the two grid parts (50, 70) each have a stop (56, 76) for the locking device (80), to prevent a complete separation of the two partial rings (42, 62). 6. Holder according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the holding part (40) consisting of the two partial rings (42, 62) is inclined obliquely upwards and backwards. 7. Holder according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that at least one transverse slot (41) is provided in the holding part (40) for inserting a sign (43) for price, company and the like. 8. Holder according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the holding part (40) is easily detachably attached to the base part (20). 9. Holder according to claim 8, characterized in that the holding part (40) has a lower widening (45) from which a side strip (47) extends downwards, which can be easily detachably snapped into continuous holding slots (22, 23) of the base part (20). 10. Holder according to claim 9, characterized in that the holding slot (22, 23) has a preferably recessed stop (24, 25) on at least one slot edge, preferably on three slot edges, which forms a stable stop with a defined height with at least one corresponding stop edge (84, 85) on the side strip (47) of the holding part (40). 11. Holder according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the base plate (26) of the base part (20) is trapezoidal with unequal widths of transverse edges, and that two mutually offset holders such as holding slots (22, 23) are provided on the base part (20) for the holding part (40), so that different combinations of several adjacent holders (10), even rotated by 180° relative to each other, are possible. 12. Holder according to one of claims 6 to 11, characterized by a holding block (27) protruding from the base part (20) for the holding part (40), which is preferably formed in one piece with the base part (20), which has at least one, preferably two upper holding surfaces (29) which are beveled in such a way that they form an angle of approximately 90° with the holding part (40) extending obliquely upwards and backwards, the holding surfaces (29) optionally containing the through-going holding slot or the through-going holding slots (22, 23), the holding block (27) with the holding surfaces (29) being able to be directed upwards for an oblique position of the holding part (40) or downwards for a vertical position of the holding part, and at the same time a front surface (30, 32) is created for attaching the article designation (21), etc. 13. Holder according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that it consists entirely or partially of plastic, preferably of Plexiglas. 14.
