Description
The present invention relates to a sliding wall arrangement with at least one wing, which is slidably mounted in a guide channel of a running rail that can be retracted into a building floor.
Sliding wall arrangements with at least one wing, which is mounted in a running rail that can be retracted into the building floor and can be moved along it, are well known. They allow a wide view and can be manufactured without thresholds and with a comparatively small frame portion. Because the lower running rail is sunk into the ground, a profile-free transition from the sash to the ground is possible. This allows for maximum light opening. The wings are usually multi-glazed and usually have a circumferential profile.
Good heat insulation and sound insulation are essential for such sliding walls. The running rails of such sliding walls therefore generally consist of at least two profiles, for example aluminum profiles, which are firmly connected to one another via heat-insulating connecting elements. The separation by such connecting elements, which are usually made of plastic, enables an effective thermal separation of the two profiles, in each of which a wing is slidably guided. Effective drainage is also essential for recessed running rails.
Such sliding walls are increasingly being created with thicker wings, which are intended to provide even better heat and sound insulation. Accordingly, the guide channels must be made wider so that these wider sliding walls can be installed can be sunk. However, such wide guide channels are rather undesirable, especially from an aesthetic point of view. In principle, it is also possible that such wide guide channels are unfavorable when using shoes with narrow heels. Depending on the country, there are also standards for disabled-accessible construction that limit the dimensions of thresholds and floor openings.

The options for such systems with retightened cover tape are limited. For example, such a solution cannot be used in sliding wall arrangements in which more than one displaceable wing is provided per guide channel. In sliding wall arrangements in which the guide channel is particularly long in relation to the movable wing, it can be difficult to provide enough storage space for the cover strip. In addition, the long masking tape can be moved and redirected Especially when dirt particles penetrate, the smooth movement of the sliding wing is impaired due to frictional forces.

The invention is based on the object of creating a sliding wall arrangement of the type mentioned, which avoids the disadvantages mentioned. The sliding wall should therefore also be able to be implemented with very wide guide channels, for example with a width of 50 mm and more, without causing aesthetic or other problems.
To solve this problem, a sliding wall arrangement is proposed, as specified in
- at least one wing with a lower edge,
- a running rail which can be retracted into a building floor and has at least one guide channel in which the at least one wing is slidably mounted at the lower edge, and
- at least one cover element, which is used to cover the at least one Guide channel is used when the guide channel is released by the at least one displaceable wing.
The at least one cover element has a raised state, in which the cover element covers the guide channel released by the wing, and a lowered state, in which the at least one cover element is lowered into the at least one guide channel, so that the at least one wing over the at least a cover element can be moved away.
The at least one wing has on its underside the at least one running surface, which is moved over the rollers when the wing is moved, so that they roll on the running surface or the rollers are attached to the underside of the at least one wing, so that it rolls on the one or more tread(s) provided in the guide channel when the sash is moved.
The at least one cover element can thus be lowered into the guide channel in order to enable the wing or wings to be moved over the cover element. To support the cover element in the lowered state, the guide channel, in which the at least one displaceable wing is mounted, is used.
The raised or lowered state usually refers to the entire cover element, which is raised or lowered along its entire longitudinal extent and as a whole, that is, moved up or down. The raising and lowering movement therefore in particular has a component that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cover element. It is possible for the lowering element to be moved a certain distance along its longitudinal direction. However, the travel of the lowering element along its longitudinal direction is preferably at most five times as large as the movement of the lowering element perpendicular to its longitudinal direction, more preferably at most twice as large as the movement perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and most preferably approximately in the order of magnitude of the movement perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The longitudinal direction or the direction of the longitudinal extent of the cover element usually corresponds to the longitudinal direction or direction of the longitudinal extent of the running rail.
In comparison to the raised state, the position of the cover element in the lowered state preferably differs only by a parallel displacement. Preferably, the entire movement sequence of the cover element from the raised to the lowered state, and advantageously also the movement sequence from the lowered to the raised state, represents a pure parallel displacement.
Preferably, the cover element has the same overall shape in the raised state as in the lowered state, that is, it is neither bent, compressed, reduced in size, enlarged or otherwise reshaped. The cover element is advantageously designed in one piece as a whole.
The displaceable wing can be, for example, the wing of a sliding door or a sliding window, which is displaceable along the longitudinal extent of the running rail. The movable wing usually has at least one glass pane. The guide channel is advantageously covered by the wing in the area of the wing and by the at least one cover element in the areas outside the wing.
Preferably, the sliding wall arrangement has a closed position with respect to the at least one wing, in which the at least one wing closes a passage that can be closed by the sliding wall arrangement. In this closed position, the at least one guide channel is advantageously covered by at least one wing in the area of the at least one wing and by at least one cover element in all areas outside the at least one wing.
Lowering the cover element can be achieved in various ways. However, a spring mechanism is preferably arranged in the at least one guide channel, which applies a spring force directed towards the raised state to the at least one cover element. The lowering is then preferably effected with the aid of the weight of the wing acting on the cover element when it is displaced over the at least one cover element. The spring mechanism advantageously has one or more leg springs.
A guide means is provided, which is arranged in at least one guide channel and serves to support the at least one wing. The guide means can in particular be one or more rollers. The rollers are advantageously arranged in sequence and at regular intervals along the longitudinal extent of the guide channel. The at least one wing then generally has at least one running surface on its underside, which is moved over the rollers when the wing is moved, so that they roll on the running surface. Of course, in an alternative embodiment, the rollers can also be attached to the underside of the at least one wing, and one or more running surfaces can be provided in the at least one guide channel, on which the rollers can roll when the wing is moved. The running surface(s) arranged in the guide channel can also be viewed as a guide means in such an alternative embodiment.
In the raised state, the cover element is arranged above the guide means and advantageously covers it upwards. In the lowered state, the cover element is preferably projected upwards by the guide means. In the lowered state, the cover element is preferably lowered into the guide channel at least to such an extent that the top point of the guide means projects beyond it. The at least one wing can thereby be moved over the at least one cover element and at the same time be supported by the guide means.
The cover element advantageously has at least one recess in order to enable the guide means to protrude through the cover element in the lowered state. The recess can be designed to be open at the side or completely enclosed at the side by the material of the cover element. Providing at least one recess in the cover element enables greater coverage of the guide channel when the cover element is raised.
Preferably, a first and a second guide means are arranged in the guide channel, both of which serve to support the at least one wing and are advantageously spaced apart and extend parallel to one another along the direction of displacement of the wing. Both the first and the second means of guidance can be each act one or more rollers. Two parallel rows of rollers arranged one behind the other and running in the longitudinal direction of the running rail are advantageously provided, over which the at least one wing can be moved in such a way that the underside of the wing can roll over the rollers in turn. Even in such an embodiment, the rollers can of course also be attached to the underside of the wing, and one or more running surfaces for the rollers can be provided in the guide channel.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the at least one cover element is connected to the running rail in such a way that the at least one cover element can be moved in a guided movement, in particular a parallel displacement, relative to the running rail from the raised to the lowered state and from the lowered to the raised state. In this way it can be ensured that the cover element is always arranged parallel to the running rail, which brings obvious aesthetic and functional advantages.
A guided parallel displacement of the cover element relative to the running rail can be achieved in a variety of ways, such as by means of a link guide. In a preferred embodiment, however, at least one support block is movably arranged in the at least one guide channel. This at least one support block is preferably movably connected to the running rail and the cover element in such a way that the guided movement, in particular parallel displacement, of the cover element is predetermined by the at least one support block. The at least one support block advantageously also serves to absorb weight forces which act on the at least one cover element in the raised state, and preferably also in the lowered state. In this way, significantly higher weight forces can be absorbed by the lowering element.
The at least one support block advantageously has a rounded rolling surface in order to enable the support block to roll evenly when the at least one cover element is brought from the lowered to the raised state or from the raised to the lowered state. In addition, the at least one support block preferably has a substantially flat standing surface.
By means of the flat base, the weight forces can be easily dissipated and undesirable further movement of the support block is prevented.
Preferably, the at least one cover element is designed as a profile rail with a substantially U-shaped cross section. Parts arranged in the guide channel can therefore be well protected from external influences and, in particular, penetrating dirt particles.
In order to move the at least one cover element when moving the wing in a substantially continuously uniform movement from the raised to the lowered state and from the lowered to the raised state, a wedge-shaped stop element is advantageously attached to the wing.
Optimal ease of movement of the at least one wing can be achieved if rollers are attached to its lower edge, which roll on an upper side of the at least one cover element when the wing is moved and thereby keep it in its lowered state.
Preferably, several cover elements are provided in order to advantageously completely cover a single guide channel in segments. The plurality of cover elements are preferably arranged one behind the other. The running
The two
The lower part of the
The underside of the
The
In the
The radial outer surfaces of the
The base rails 3 can be firmly connected to the running

The
In the
Between the two
Due to the spring force of the at least one
In the area between the
