Claims (8)

  1. Protective device for a casting stream issuing from a casting device, having a casting stream protective pipe (3) and having a bearing ring (1), which engages around the casting stream protective pipe (3) at an upper inlet end, wherein a collar of the casting stream protective pipe (3) rests on the bearing ring (1), as well as having a fastener (20) for the bearing ring (1), which fastener (20) is attached to the casting device, wherein a spring element (6) presses the bearing ring (1) against the casting cone (28), characterized in that the spring element (6) is attached to the bearing ring (1) in an articulated manner and so as to be displaceable in a longitudinal direction (7) such that it is attached to the fastener (20) and presses the bearing ring (1) against the casting cone (28).
  2. Protective device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the fastener (20) is attached to a ladle gate beneath the casting cone (28).
  3. Protective device according to the preceding claim, characterized by an adapter (8) on a handling device, which adapter receives the bearing ring (1).
  4. Protective device according to the preceding claim, characterized by a conical receiving element (13) on the adapter (8), on which the bearing ring (1) is centred by its own weight.
  5. Protective device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by a drive, by means of which the spring element (6) can be attached to the casting device.
  6. Protective device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by a releasable lock (19) which prevents the bearing ring (1) from coming loose from the handling device.
  7. Method for holding a casting stream protective pipe (3) on a casting device having a protective device according to one of Claims 1 to 6, wherein the bearing ring (1) with the casting stream protective pipe (3) is attached to the fastener (20) by means of a handling device in such a manner that the spring element (6) presses the bearing ring (1) against the casting cone (28), characterized in that the spring element (6) is moved in the longitudinal direction (7) and attached to the fastener in such a manner that it presses the bearing ring (1) against the casting cone (28) .
