Description

DEHUMIDIFYING APPARATUS FOR STORATE CABINET AND DAMP PROOFING STORAGE CABINET THEREWITH FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention pertains to a household necessity, and more specifically, the present invention relates to a dehumidifying apparatus for storage cabinet and a damp proofing storage cabinet therewith.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Some regions of the world, such as Hong Kong, South China, Southeast Asia and many coastal countries, all have a hot and humid climate throughout the year, where relative humidity often exceed 75% and sometimes can even reach 95%. In this humid and hot climate, the stored clothes, documents, antiques, watches, clocks and wooden musical instruments are liable to dampness, resulting in mildew formation, rusting and deformation of the articles. Moreover, mould will do harm to human health. Therefore, there is a demand for storage cabinets with efficient automatic dehumidifying function. In real life, in order to guard against dampness, people usually put various kinds of desiccants in storage cabinets to reduce humidity. But apparently only finite dehumidification effect can be attained with desiccants. Moreover, the desiccants need to be changed frequently so the cost is relatively high.
In the prior art, there are also wardrobes with damp proofing function. For example, Chinese patent CN205321724 U discloses an intelligent damp proofing wardrobe comprising a cabinet body, which adopts a square box-type structure. A cabinet door is disposed on a side of the said cabinet body, a control box and an exhaust fan are disposed at the external upper end of the cabinet body, an antenna is disposed on the said control box, a humidity sensor is disposed at an internal corner of the said cabinet body, a drying box is disposed at the internal upper end of the said cabinet body, an incense box is disposed at the internal lower end of the said cabinet body, a central processor is disposed in the said control box, a signal converter is disposed on the left of the said central processor, and a wireless communicator is disposed over the said central processor. Humidity information in the said cabinet is transmitted to the central processor from the humidity sensor and the humidity information is compared with the humidity standard set in advance. If the humidity is too high, the drying box will be heated and the said exhaust fan will remove excessive moisture to keep the inside of the cabinet body in a dry state all the time, thus intelligent dehumidification and deodorization can be done. Apparently this technology removes moisture by using a heater inside the wardrobe, wherein the disadvantage is that when the drying box is overheated or out of control, the clothes in the said cabinet could be too hot thus there is a risk of fire. Moreover, the dehumidifying efficiency is rather low for the said damp proofing wardrobe with a drying box dehumidifier built in cabinet.
Therefore, there is a demand for a safe and efficient dehumidifying storage cabinet, which should not only be convenient for installation, operation and maintenance but also be able to lower the humidity in the storage cabinet in short time and maintain the required humidity in the range set by the user all the time.

In some cases, the air inlet 214 and the air outlet 212 on the storage cabinet body 210 could be obstructed by the stored articles, thus the circulation and dehumidification of the air inside the cabinet body 210 could be hindered. Also, the compartments or interlayers built inside the said cabinet body 210 could also hinder air circulation. To address this problem, as shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 10, in an embodiment of the present invention, the first extension air pipeline 230 is disposed transversely alongside the back wall in the upper part inside the cabinet body 210 and this first extension air pipeline 230 is communicated with the air inlet 214 on the cabinet body 210, and the second extension air pipeline 240 is disposed transversely alongside the back wall in the lower part inside the cabinet body 210 and this second extension air pipeline 240 is communicated with the air outlet 212 on the cabinet body 210, meanwhile a plurality of ventilation openings 231 and 241 are disposed on the first extension air pipeline 230 and the second extension air pipeline 240 respectively thus the dried air coming in through the air inlet 214 can be spread in a wider range inside the cabinet body 210, and the humid air to be discharged through the air outlet 212 on the cabinet body can also be collected in a wider range inside the cabinet body 210. The cross-sectional shape of the said first extension air pipeline and the said second extension air pipeline can either be circular shape or rectangular shape or of other suitable shapes. Preferably, in an embodiment of the damp proofing storage cabinet 20 of the present invention, a plurality of mini electric fans 250 may be disposed inside the cabinet body 210 to enhance air flow inside the cabinet body 210.
As shown in FIG. 6, in order to adapt to rooms of different shapes and settings and make for placement, the air inlets 214 and the air outlets 212 are disposed on both two opposite side walls of the cabinet body 210 thus it is possible to install the said dehumidifying apparatus 10 by either side wall of the cabinet body 210.
