Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kettenwirkmaschine (1) mit einem Wirkbereich (5), in dem die Kettenwirkmaschine(1) bei einem Wirkprozess eine Wirkware (2) erzeugt, mit einem Fadenzuführungsbereich (3), in dem beim Betrieb der Kettenwirkmaschine (1) Kettfäden (4) verlaufen, bevor sie dem Wirkprozess in dem Wirkbereich (5) unterworfen werden, und mit einem System zur Überwachung einer Warenqualität der erzeugten Wirkware (2), wobei das System zur Überwachung der Warenqualität der erzeugten Wirkware (2) eine optische Abtastvorrichtung (7) und eine Datenverarbeitungseinheit aufweist, und wobei die Datenverarbeitungseinheit dazu eingerichtet ist, ein Bewertungssignal betreffend die Warenqualität der Wirkware (2) zu erzeugen. Erfindungsgemäß ist die optische Abtastvorrichtung (7) so angeordnet, dass sie ein Bewegtbild von mindestens einem Kettfaden (4) in dem Fadenzuführungsbereich (3) erfassen kann, wobei die Datenverarbeitungseinheit dazu eingerichtet ist, aus dem Bewegtbild eine Fadenlaufgeschwindigkeit des mindestens einen Kettfadens (4) zu ermitteln, die Fadenlaufgeschwindigkeit in einem Bewertungsschritt auszuwerten und in Abhängigkeit von einem Auswertungsergebnis des Bewertungsschritts das Bewertungssignal zu erzeugen.
