- the invention relates to a ballast sweeper for picking up and distributing ballast on a track, comprising a sweeping brush rotatable about a rotation axis, a ballast conveyor upstream of a brush rotation direction with a transport direction parallel to the rotation axis, and a sweeper between Ballast conveyor belt positioned gravel baffle for forwarding the ballast on the ballast conveyor belt.
