In particular, the invention relates to packaging of the type comprising a bottle which is at least partially transparent, and a lighting system placed on the bottle so as to emit a light beam in a direction of lighting parallel to a central axis. of the bottle.

Known packages of this type are used to highlight a bottle filled with a transparent liquid due to a visual effect produced by the propagation of the light beam in the transparent liquid. The documents US2008034628A1 , US2004004829A1 , US2014138274A1 and US6020823A disclose the packaging of the state of the art.

However, the known packagings do not make it possible to modulate the visual effect produced.

L'invention vise à pallier ce problème.The invention aims to overcome this problem.

To this end, the invention which is defined in claim 1, proposes packaging of the aforementioned type further comprising a coating film covering at least part of an outer surface of a side wall of the bottle, the coating comprising at least locally a decoration adapted to be backlit by the light beam propagating in the liquid, the decoration comprising a plurality of decoration zones, each decoration zone having an illumination rate defined by a ratio of a quantity of light measured at a measurement distance from the lighting system through the scenery zone over a quantity of light measured directly at the measurement distance from the lighting system, the plurality of scenery zones comprising at least a first contrast and at least one second contrast zone, the first contrast zone having an illumination rate of at least 15%, in particular at least 30%, preferably at least 40%, for example at m less than 50%, lower than the level of illumination of the second contrast zone.

Thus, the invention provides for an interaction between the light beam, the liquid, the decoration of the coating film and, possibly, the bottle to produce a visual effect. It is then possible to modulate the visual effect by playing on an arrangement of the first and second contrast zones and, if necessary, on a filling level of the bottle.

The first contrast zone can be an opaque decoration zone and the second contrast zone can be a transparent decoration zone, the opaque and transparent decoration zones having a difference in illumination rate of at least 15%, in particular d at least 30%, preferably at least 40%, for example at least 50%.

The coating film comprises at least one window adapted to allow viewing of the side wall from the outside, the window forming one of the second contrast zones. In particular, the coating film may include a transparent portion forming said at least one window. In a complementary or alternative manner, the coating film may include a cutout forming said at least one window. The side wall of the bottle comprises at least one transverse wall portion inclined with respect to the central axis, the window then being able to be provided on the transverse wall portion. The visual effect can then result from the interaction of the light beam, the liquid and the decor of the coating film with the shape of the bottle.

At least one of the first contrast zones can be a blackout decoration zone having an illumination rate of less than 10%, preferably less than 5%. The blackout decoration zone may have a thickness of less than 10 μm, preferably less than 5 μm, in particular less than 3 μm. For example, the occulting decoration zone can comprise a layer of metallic ink.

The decoration of the coating film may comprise first and second superimposed patterns, the coating film being adapted to present the first pattern when the decoration is not backlit by the light beam and to present the second pattern when the decoration is backlit by the light beam. In particular, the coating film may have an inner surface in contact with the outer surface of the side wall of the bottle, and an outer surface opposite the inner surface, the first and second patterns being made one on the inner surface coating film and the other on the outer surface of the coating film.

The coating film may have a lower edge located at the bottom of the bottle and an upper edge located at the neck of the bottle so as to cover substantially the entire outer surface of the side wall of the bottle. In particular, the bottle may have an initial filling level where a low point of a meniscus extends, formed by a free surface of the liquid initially, the upper edge of the coating film being flush with the initial filling level.

Le support 17 peut être solidarisé à la surface extérieure du fond 3 de la bouteille, par exemple par l'intermédiaire d'une couche de matériau adhésif 18.Packaging 1 also comprises a lighting system 15 comprising an electric light source, such as one or more LEDs 16, suitable for emitting a light beam, and an autonomous electric power supply device, comprising for example a battery and a switch. The battery is connected to the LEDs 16 via the switch in order, in an active state, to supply the LEDs 16 with electrical energy so as to emit the light beam, and in an inactive state, not to supply the LEDs 16 in electrical energy so as not to emit the light beam. In the embodiment shown, the LEDs 16 and the power supply device are mounted on a flat support 17, for example circular, having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the bottom 3 of the bottle 2. The LEDs 16 are mounted on the same face of the support 17. The lighting system 15 is placed on the bottle 2 with the face on which the LEDs 16 are mounted against the outer surface of the bottom 3 so as to emit the light beam in a direction of parallel lighting to the central axis A of the bottle 2. The support 17 can be secured to the outer surface of the bottom 3 of the bottle, for example by means of a layer of adhesive material 18.

In the embodiment shown, the coating film 20 has a lower edge 21 located at the level of the bottom 3 of the bottle 2 and an upper edge 22 located at the level of the neck 5 of the bottle 2 so as to cover substantially the entire outer surface of the side wall 4 of the bottle 2. In particular, the bottle 2 initially has an initial filling level where extends a low point of a meniscus formed by a free surface of the liquid. The upper edge 22 of the coating film 20 is then flush with the initial filling level. Alternatively, only part of the outer surface of the side wall 4 of the bottle 2 could be covered by the coating film 20.

Each decorative zone 25, 26 has an illumination rate defined by a ratio of a quantity of light measured to a measurement distance D from the source light 16 through the decoration zone on a quantity of light measured directly at the measurement distance from the light source 16. The decoration is constituted by a particular arrangement of one or more first contrast zones 25 and one or more second contrast zones 26. In the embodiment shown, the coating film comprises several second contrast zones 26 in the form of distributed flames and first contrast zones 25. The first contrast zones 25 have an illumination rate at least 15%, in particular at least 30%, preferably at least 40%, for example at least 50%, lower than the level of illumination of the second contrast zones 26.

In the particular embodiment shown, the first contrast zones are opaque decoration zones 25 and the second contrast zones are transparent decoration zones 26. The opaque 25 and transparent 26 decoration zones have a difference in the rate of illumination of at least 15%, in particular at least 30%, preferably at least 40%, for example at least 50%. As a variant, the first and second contrast zones could be made in any suitable way allowing contrast to be obtained. The first and second contrast zones could in particular be more or less translucent, more or less colored, more or less thick, etc.

By way of non-limiting example, the figures 4 and 5 illustrate an experimental device 30 implemented to measure a rate of illumination of different decorative zones. A mask 31 covers the side surface 4' of a globally cylindrical bottle 2' along the central axis A. The mask 31 is essentially opaque with the exception of an opening 32, visible on the figures 4 and 5 , located at the measurement distance D, for example 2 cm, from the face of the support 17 on which the LEDs are placed. A sensor 33 suitable for measuring a quantity of light, for example of the type of Luxmeter MS-200LED operated by the company VOLTCRAFT, is placed opposite the opening 32 and connected to a processing unit.

An initial measurement of the quantity of light at the measurement distance D is carried out directly through the opening 32. The different decorative zones are then placed successively in the opening 32 and the quantity of light at the measurement distance D through each of the decor areas is measured.

Tableau Zone de décor Eclairement (lux) Taux d'éclairement Aucune 19,5 ± 0,6 % 100 % Bleue 3,1 ± 0,1 % 15,9 % Rouge 1,4 ± 0,1 % 7,2 % Verte 3,3 ± 0,1 % 16,9 % Blanche 12,1 ± 0,4 % 62,1 % Noire 0,2 ± 0,1 % 1,0 % Brune 0,6 ± 0,1 % 3,1 % Brune claire 4,1 ± 0,2 % 21,0 % Transparente 15,3 ± 0,5 % 78,5 % The results obtained are reported in the table below. <u>Table</u> decor area Illumination (lux) Lighting rate None 19.5±0.6% 100% Blue 3.1±0.1% 15.9% Red 1.4 ± 0.1% 7.2% Green 3.3±0.1% 16.9% White 12.1±0.4% 62.1% Black 0.2 ± 0.1% 1.0% Brown 0.6 ± 0.1% 3.1% light brown 4.1±0.2% 21.0% Transparent 15.3 ± 0.5% 78.5%

Thus, a difference in illumination rate of the order of 15% can correspond to a decoration having black opaque zones of decoration and blue or green transparent zones of decoration. A difference in illuminance between 40% and 50% can correspond to a decor having blue or green opaque decor zones and white transparent decor zones.

On the figures 1 and 2 , each transparent decorative zone 26 can be constituted by a window 27 adapted to allow viewing of the side wall 4 from the outside. The window 27 then has an illumination rate greater than 70%. Each window 27 can be obtained by a portion of transparent film. The rest of the coating film comprising the opaque decorative zones 25 has an illumination rate of at least 15% lower than that of the transparent decorative zones 26. The opaque decorative zones 25 can then be black or colored and, for example, blue, red and/or green. Alternatively, each window 27 could be formed by a cutout made in the coating film 20.

In addition, to obtain the desired opacity and, if necessary, to vary it, it is possible to vary various parameters of the coating film 20 such as for example: a thickness of the coating film, a thickness or a number of layers printing forming the decor on the coating film 20, a quantity of ink used in the printing layer. In particular, one or more of the opaque decoration zones 25 could be a blackout decoration zone having an illumination rate of less than 10%, preferably less than 5%. The blackout decoration zone is preferably thin with a thickness of less than 10 μm, preferably less than 5 μm, in particular less than 3 μm. For example, the blackout decor zone comprises a layer of metallic ink. The opaque decoration zone 25 can then be reflective so as to channel the light towards the transparent decoration zones 26. Such an effect could be obtained by distributing metallic particles on a printing layer. According to other variants, as emerges from the above table, the transparent decorative zones 26 could be green or blue and the opaque decorative zones 25 could have an illumination rate at least 15% lower than that of the transparent decor areas 26, that is to say be black. Alternatively, the transparent decorative zones 26 could be white and the opaque decorative zones 25 could have an illumination rate at least 40% lower than that of the transparent decorative zones 26, that is to say be blue or green.

On the figure 1 , the lighting system 15 is off. On the other hand, on the picture 2 , the lighting system 15 is switched on so that the light beam emitted by the LEDs 16 supplied with electrical energy by the battery propagates in the liquid to backlight the decoration of the coating film 20. The difference in illumination between the first and second contrast zones makes it possible to obtain a particular visual effect which depends on the arrangement of the different contrast zones. In addition, the lower bulge 7, close to the light source 16, has a more intense illumination than that of the intermediate bulge 8. Due to the propagation of the light beam in the liquid which fills the bottle on the picture 2 and reflection on the meniscus of the free surface of the liquid, the upper bulge 9 also has a more intense illumination than that of the intermediate bulge 8.

Thus, the light beam, the liquid, the decoration of the coating film 20 and the bottle 2, in particular due to its shape, interact to produce a visual effect which it is then possible to modulate by playing on an arrangement of the first and second contrast areas.

Lorsque la bouteille est vide, seul le renflement inférieur 7, à proximité de la source lumineuse 16, présente un éclairement plus intense que le reste de la bouteille 2.The figure 6 represents, on the left, conditioning 1 described above in the configuration of the figure 2 , that is to say with the bottle 2 full to the initial filling level, and the lighting system 15 on. On the right, on the other hand, the bottle 2 is empty, the lighting system 15 remaining on. When the bottle is empty, only the lower bulge 7, close to the light source 16, has a more intense illumination than the rest of the bottle 2.

The modulation of the visual effect is illustrated on the figure 6 and 7 with an experimental device 35 to measure the illumination as a function of the filling of the bottle 2. A sensor 36, for example of the type of Luxmeter MS-200LED operated by the company VOLTCRAFT, is placed on the neck 5 of the bottle 2, in the upper opening 6, to measure the quantity of light coming from the light beam through different filling levels of the bottle 2. The sensor 36 is connected to a processing unit. Measurements are made with and without coating film. As it appears from the figure 8 illustrating the evolution of the illumination as a function of the filling of the bottle 2, the illumination at the level of the sensor 36 increases with the filling level of the bottle 2. The evolution of the illumination is, moreover, more progressive with a coating film 20 than without a coating film.

The figures 9 and 10 represent variants of a packaging 40 according to a second embodiment of the invention. The packaging 40 according to the second embodiment differs from the first embodiment described above only by the decoration of the coating film 41a, 41b. The description will therefore not be repeated in detail. and reference will be made to the description of the packaging which has already been given for more details.

On the figure 9 , the decoration comprises opaque decorative zones 45a figuring a bodywork and transparent decorative zones 46a figuring portholes. At least one of the transparent decoration zones 46a comprises first and second superimposed patterns such that the first pattern masks the second pattern when the decoration is not backlit by the light beam and the second pattern becomes apparent when the decoration is backlit by the light beam. For example, the first pattern may be a white color filling the window when the lighting system 15 is off and the second pattern may be a face visible in the window when the lighting system 15 is on.

Alternatively, on the figure 10 , the decor includes opaque decor zones 45b depicting an airplane cabin and transparent decor zones 46b also depicting portholes. The first pattern may be a white color filling the window when the lighting system 15 is off and the second pattern may be a representation of rows of seats inside the aircraft visible in the windows when the lighting system 15 is on.

To do this, the first and second patterns can be made, one on an inner surface of the coating film 41, 42 in contact with the outer surface of the side wall 4 of the bottle 2, and the other on an outer surface of the coating film 41, 42 opposite the inner surface.

The figure 11 represents a packaging 50 according to a third embodiment of the invention which, again, differs from the first embodiment described above only by the decoration of the coating film 51. The description will therefore not be repeated in detail and the one will refer to the description of the conditioning which has already been made for more details.

The decor includes opaque decor zones 55 depicting a car body and transparent decor zones 56 depicting headlights. The transparent decorative zones 56 can be produced by windows 57 obtained by portions of transparent film or cutouts made in the coating film 51. The windows 57 are then provided on the transverse wall portion of the upper bulge 9 of the wall side 4. The windows 57 thus oriented substantially transversely with respect to the light beam can present a more intense illumination than the rest of the bottle 2 when the lighting system 15 is on. Opaque decor areas 55 can, moreover, be chosen to channel the light beam and concentrate it towards the windows 57.

The figures 12 and 13 represent variants of the packages 1, 40 of the first and second embodiments represented on the figure 1 and 9 . In these variants, the battery and the switch of the power supply device are replaced by a power supply device adapted to generate electrical energy from mechanical energy. In particular, on the figure 8 , the feed device can be activated from a shock on the bottom 3 of the bottle 4. On the figure 9 , the feeder can be activated from a shake of bottle 2.

In other embodiments, the activation of the feeder and the illumination of the bottle 2 and of the coating film 20, 41a could be controlled in any suitable way. For example, a control device could be connected to the power supply device to switch it between the active state and the inactive state according to a determined sequence defined in particular by a time delay.

In a fourth embodiment illustrated in the figure 14 , the lighting system can be an illumination member 62 of a terminal 60 such as a telephone or the like. The terminal 60 is placed close to the bottle 2, for example underneath, by directing the illumination member 62 towards the volume of the bottle 2, for example through the bottom 3, to illuminate its contents.

In addition to the illumination device 62 adapted to emit a light signal, the terminal 60 can be equipped with an acquisition device 61 adapted to acquire an image and a sound device 63 adapted to emit a sound signal. The terminal 60 can belong to an electronic system illustrated on the figures 15 to 17 further comprising a processing unit suitable for recognizing, in an image acquired by the acquisition device 61, at least one optical characteristic of the bottle 2 and for associating with the optical characteristic at least one multimedia content.

In the embodiment shown, the optical characteristic can be at least one of the pattern on the coating film 20 and the shape of the bottle 2. Alternatively, the optical characteristic could be constituted by any other pattern comprising areas which differ from each other by one or more optical parameters, visible by a user or at least detectable by an appropriate detection device, such as a color, a contrast, an intensity or a level of illumination. The optical characteristic could also consist of any other shape.

The multimedia content comprises instructions readable by the processing unit to emit a light signal corresponding to the optical characteristic by the illumination member 61. The light signal may comprise one or more lights of different colors and/or intensities. emitted at a predefined rate for a light animation. When the terminal 60 is equipped with a sound system 23, the multimedia content can also include instructions readable by the processing unit to emit a sound signal corresponding to the optical characteristic by the sound system 63. The sound signal may include one or more sounds of different pitches and/or intensities, where appropriate, emitted in synchronization with the light signal.

Les haut-parleurs 67, 70 des faces avant et arrière peuvent servir d'organe de sonorisation 63.The terminal 60 comprises a case 64 portable by hand by a user and enclosing a set of electronic components. In particular, on the figures 15 and 16 , the terminal 60 is a telephone comprising on a front face a display screen 65, possibly tactile, a microphone 66, a loudspeaker 67 and one or more control keys 68. The display screen 65 and the flash lamp 69 can serve as an illumination member 62, the first to emit a light signal in the form of a more or less diffuse light surface and the second to emit a light signal in the form of a more or less focused light beam in a direction of illumination. The loudspeakers 67, 70 of the front and rear faces can serve as a sound system 63.

On the figure 17 , the processing unit comprises a remote server 71 in which is stored a database storing a plurality of optical characteristics of bottles and a plurality of multimedia contents each associated with an optical characteristic. The processing unit also comprises a processor 72 and a communication interface 73 mounted in the casing 64 of the terminal 60. The communication interface 73 is adapted to communicate, preferably remotely according to any appropriate protocol but possibly by a wired connection , with remote networks and, in particular, with the server 71. The processor 72 is connected to the acquisition device 61, to the illumination devices 62, namely the display screen 65 and the flash lamp 69, to the sound devices 63, namely the loudspeakers 67, 70 of the front and rear faces, the microphone 66, the control keys 68 and the communication interface 73. The processor 72 is adapted to recognize, in the image acquired by the acquisition device 61, the optical characteristic of the bottle 1 and to associate with this optical characteristic at least one of the multimedia contents obtained from the database stored on the server 71 by the communication interface 73.

As a variant, the processing unit can be entirely contained in the terminal 60. In addition to the processor 72, the processing unit then comprises a memory in which the database is stored.

In relation to the figures 18 and 19 , a method of presenting the bottle 2 implementing the terminal 60 and the processing unit is described.

Une image de la bouteille 2 est acquise par le dispositif d'acquisition 61 du terminal 60 et transmise au processeur 72.An image of the bottle 2 is acquired by the acquisition device 61 of the terminal 60 and transmitted to the processor 72.

The optical characteristic of the bottle 2, for example the upper bulge 9, is recognized by the processor 72 in the image acquired by the acquisition device 61. The processor 72 communicates with the server 71 via the interface communication 73 to associate the optical characteristic with the corresponding multimedia content. A page offering the user different choices can then be displayed on the display screen 65 of the terminal 60. Among the choices offered, A, B or C on the figure 19 , one may relate to the sound signal to be chosen from music, a song or a voice message, in particular a story, pre-recorded or downloaded. The sound signal can also be a voice message recorded prior to its reproduction by a recording device of the processing unit including, in the embodiment shown, the microphone 66 of the terminal 60 and a memory. In the case of a telephone, the sound signal can also be a voice message recorded on a remote mailbox. The user can then decide to play the multimedia content by selecting one of the choices offered.

The processor 72 can then control the lighting 62 and sound 63 device(s) according to the instructions of the multimedia content to deliver the corresponding light and sound signals.

The front face of the terminal 60 can be placed on a support surface 80 in such a way that the flash lamp 69 emits the light signal in a direction opposite to the support surface 80. The bottom 3 of the bottle 2 can then be placed on the flashlight flash 69 in such a way that the light signal corresponding to the optical characteristic is emitted substantially along the central axis A of the bottle 2 in synchronization with the sound signal, the pattern of the coating film 20 being backlit.
