Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sprossenwand. The invention relates to wall bars.

A wall bars in the sense of this document is a ladder-like piece of gymnastics furniture, which is typically fixedly attached to a wall, has two spars that are at least approximately vertical and parallel to one another, and a row of rungs that are horizontally and parallel to one another and vertically one above the other at a distance connect the two bars to each other.

For example the DE 1678249 shows a gymnastics device, often referred to as a "chin-up bar", which can be releasably fastened to a wall bars by means of hooks encompassing the bars and in the fastened state protrudes away from the wall bars normal to the plane thereof. The gymnastics device extends in the vertical direction over at least two rungs of the wall bars. If the gymnastics device - which can be a kind of horizontal bar, for example - is loaded by the weight of a person during gymnastics exercises at a distance from the level of the wall bars, the rungs of the wall bars on which the gymnastics device rests are loaded with high forces, which are predominantly horizontally normal are aligned to the longitudinal direction of the respective rung. If the respective point of application of one of these forces on a rung is not very close to a vertical spar of the wall bars, the rung is thereby heavily loaded in terms of bending. This bending load is a decisive, disruptive limiting factor for the design and usability of the gymnastics device on the wall bars.

It should be briefly explained why two obvious solutions do not lead to satisfactory results:
To make the gymnastics device to be hung larger in the vertical direction and thus to achieve a greater distance between the support points in the vertical direction would lead to smaller support forces on the rungs, but would bring that Disadvantage that the height range in which the gymnastics device can be arranged is reduced in a disturbing manner.

In general, making the rungs more rigid would have the disadvantage that wood is no longer sufficient as the sole material for rungs. Rungs made of metal or of a metal-wood composite would have to be used, which would be more expensive to manufacture and more difficult to process, and would also be problematic in terms of haptics in many gymnastics exercises.

The DE 59 681 C shows arrangements of a wall bars, an additional device called a bar, a horizontal bar and a board. The bar can be attached to the wall bars so that it protrudes horizontally away from it. The stretching rod can be attached to the bar at a considerable distance from the wall bars. When doing gymnastics on the horizontal bar, large, horizontally aligned force components are introduced into the rungs, which can easily be carried by them, since the introduction points are very close to the side rails. The board, which can be used as a rocking board, for example, can be stowed on the wall bars by hanging it vertically between side rails on rungs; it has no static supporting function.

The GB 946 981 A shows next to a wall bars a mounting device on the wall bars, the mounting device extending over two adjacent bars. The attachment device is used to be able to catch something on the wall bars without damaging the sensitive surface of the bars. Typically, a long gym bench with hooks at the end is hung on the attachment in order to provide an inclined plane for gymnastics purposes. The attachment does not have any supporting effect on the rungs against lateral bending.

The GB 290629 A shows two wall bars, which are normal to their plane spaced from each other, the distance is bridged by a gymnastics bar, each with one of its ends is held on each wall bars, the holder being formed by a respective metallic additional device which extends in height over several rungs of the wall bars and which has several fastening points arranged at different heights for the ends of the gymnastics bar. The metallic additional devices do not form any stiffening for the rungs of the wall bars.

The DE 10 2015 012 183 A1 shows two wall elements which are constructed like a grid like wall bars, the two wall elements being held pivotably about a vertical axis and interlocking like a tooth system. They do not have any stiffening effect on one another.

The CN 106 215 395 A shows a wall bars and panels that can be attached to it, each extending over three rungs and having climbing grips on the side of the panel facing away from the rungs. The plates are not a stiffening device for the rungs, against lateral bending, but are force inputs into the rungs. Since the climbing holds are only very slightly spaced from the plane of the rungs, no additional stiffening device is required.

The object on which the invention is based is to circumvent the disadvantages described above to design a wall bars in such a way that it can be used like a conventional wall bars without additional gymnastics equipment, and can also be used for the optional load with a gymnastics equipment, which high Forces in horizontal directions normal to the rungs are introduced into the rungs.

To solve the problem, it is proposed to equip the wall bars with a stiffening device to be temporarily attached to one or more rungs, which rests laterally on at least one rung on a lateral surface and this against movement to that side on which the stiffening device rests laterally, supported, the stiffening device being formed by an additional spar, which is placed between two vertical spars of the wall bars on the horizontally aligned rungs connecting the two bars by a rigid attachment. This additional spar extends in the direction normal to the direction of the rungs in the plane of the wall bars over several rungs. It is fixed on the individual rungs against relative movement normal to the plane of the wall bars and can be moved along the rungs. The rungs each run through a bore through the additional spar, the bore in the additional spar forming a clearance fit with the respective rung.

When the additional spar is moved approximately into the middle area between two spars rigidly connected to the rungs, it causes a support lying between the spars of the wall bars against the bending of individual rungs due to horizontally aligned forces acting on the rungs, which increases the resilience of the rungs compared to such forces increases many times. If the additional support is not required, the additional spar can be pushed up to a rigid spar and is thus stowed in such a way that it is hardly noticeable and does not interfere with the usual ways of using the wall bars.

The invention is illustrated by means of drawings for exemplary embodiments:
Fig. 1:

Fig. 2:
shows the wall bars from above looking from above Fig. 1 with gymnastics equipment attached to it on the top rung.
Fig. 3:

The wall bars 1 of Figs. 1 to 3 has two side bars 2, rungs 3 and an additional bar 4. The spars 2 and the additional spar 4 are typically rectangular profiles made of a multilayer plywood. The rungs 3 are typically solid wood rods, for example ash wood. The two spars 2 are usually rigidly fixed to a wall of a building. The rungs 3 run horizontally between the two spars 2 and are rigidly fixed with their ends in one spar 2 each.

The stiffening device according to the invention is formed by the additional spar 4. It runs between the two bars 2 approximately parallel to these, and it is penetrated by the individual rungs 3. That is, the rungs 3 each run through a bore through the additional spar 4. The bore in the additional spar forms a clearance fit with the respective rung 3, i.e. the cross-sectional dimensions of the bore in the additional spar 4 are slightly larger than the cross-sectional dimensions of the rung. Since the rungs 3 are parallel to one another, the additional spar 4 can thus be displaced relative to them along the longitudinal direction of the rungs 3 and can thus be positioned in an adjustable manner in the area between the two spars 2. Relative movement between the rungs 3 and the additional spar 4, in the direction normal to the plane of the wall bars 1, is prevented in a form-fitting manner.

Instead of running the rungs 3 through bores in the additional spar, a narrower additional spar could also be used, for example, which is equipped with a number of brackets which each include a rung 3.

Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 show how a gymnastics device 5, which can also be used as a pull-up bar, is anchored to the wall bars 1.

The gymnastics device 5 consists of two modules 6, 7 that are mirror images of one another and a connecting rod 8 connecting these modules 6, 7. The mirror plane between the two modules 6, 7 is vertical, normal to the plane of the wall bars 1. The module 6, 7 has a central tube 9 running vertically. When mounted on the wall bars, the central tube 9 extends from a middle rung 3 to the next upper and the next lower rung 3. At the upper end of the central tube 9, a downwardly open hook 10 is attached, with which the module 6, 7 as intended on the upper of said rungs 3 can be suspended from above. From the lower end of the central tube 9, an extension 11 protrudes under the lowest of the mentioned rungs 3 and thus blocks uncontrolled lifting of the module 6, 7.

From the side of the central tube 9 facing away from the rungs 3, a stretching rod 12 protrudes horizontally away from it, normal to the plane of the wall bars 1. In the advantageous embodiment shown here, the end region of the stretching rod 12 facing away from the wall bars 1 is bent in a direction parallel to the bars 3. The stretching rod 12 is held against downward bending by a diagonal strut 13 running diagonally between the central tube 9 and the stretching rod 12.

If the stretching rod 12 is loaded with weight, i.e. a downward force, in an area remote from the wall bars 1, this has the effect that the rung 3 on which the hook 10 is located is loaded with a force directed horizontally towards the stretching rod 12 is, and that rung 3, on which the extension 11 is located, with a force directed horizontally away from the stretching rod 12. In the case of a conventional wall bars, these forces could bend said bars 3 in a disruptive and dangerous manner. In the case of the construction according to the invention shown, however, this is not the case because bending of these rungs is blocked by the additional spar 4. The additional spar 4 itself is held against bending by the aforementioned rungs 3, which are not directly loaded by the modules 6, 7. It therefore has the effect that the loads on those two rungs 3, on which the modules 6, 7 are in direct contact, are divided between the other adjacent rungs.

In the in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 The very advantageous embodiment shown, the connecting rod 8 rests directly on the additional spar 4, specifically in the height range which is located centrally between the upper and lower rungs 3 directly loaded by the modules 6, 7. As a result, the connecting rod 8 additionally supports the additional spar 4 against bending toward the stretching rod 12.

Claims (3)

  1. Wall bar (1), which has two vertical spars (2) and several, horizontally aligned connecting rungs (3) attached to both spars (2), whereby the wall bar has a temporarily attachable stiffening device which bears against the lateral surface area of a rung (3) and which is supported on the area bearing against the rung (3) against movement in that horizontal direction normal to the rung (3), which is directed from the rung (3) to the bearing region of the stiffening device,
    characterised in that
the stiffening device is formed by an additional spar (4) which is located between the two spars (2) and extends in the direction normal to the direction of the rungs (3) in the plane of the wall bar (1) over several rungs (3), is fixed to the individual rungs (3) against relative movement normal to the plane of the wall bar (1), and is displaceable parallel to rungs (3) with respect thereto, whereby the rungs (3) each extend through a hole in the additional spar (4), whereby the respective hole in the additional spar (4) forms a clearance fit with the respective rung (3), so that the additional spar (4) can optionally be pushed against the middle region between the two spars (2) rigidly connected to the rungs (3) and thus forms a support against the bending of individual rungs (3), or can be pushed against one of the rigid spars (2) and thus does not impede normal modes of use of the wall bars (1).
  2. A wall bar according to claim 1, characterised in that brackets are attached to the additional spar (4), each of which enclose a rung (3).
  3. A wall bar according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the additional spar (4) is made of plywood.
