  • the section of accumulated film has substantially a length the same as that necessary for packaging the package in the packaging area.
  • the length of the accumulated film may be adjusted within certain limits for example by adjusting the degree of rotation of the movable rollers about the axis 24 and/or the position of the fixed rollers.
  • the accumulated strip may then be fed to the positioning device, for example by operating the motorized rollers 36, 37, while the movable rollers are moved back from the storage position to the rest position in order to release to the positioning device the length of film which has been previously accumulated.
  • the positioning device may be simultaneously actuated so as to position the length of film on the package present in the packaging area and heat-shrink it if necessary.
  • the cycle may then be repeated from the beginning in order to package a new package, with renewed feeding of the strip of film inside the storage device, and so on.
  • the accumulating operation is performed in a precise, fast and reliable manner and the machine may perform very short packaging cycles, while also making advantageous use of the cutting, welding, hooding downtime, etc.

Claims (10)

  1. Housseuse (10) comprenant un magasin (11) pour fournir une bande de film (12) à enrouler sur un emballage qui est agencé dans une zone d'emballage (14) de la machine, la machine comprenant en outre un dispositif de positionnement (16) pour positionner la bande de film sur le l'emballage et un dispositif de stockage (17) agencé entre le magasin (11) et le dispositif de positionnement (16) afin d'accumuler une longueur de film, le dispositif de stockage (17) comprenant :
    une trajectoire (18) pour le passage de la bande de film à travers le dispositif de stockage entre une entrée (19) et une sortie (20) du dispositif de stockage ;
    deux rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) agencés sur les côtés opposés de la bande de film le long de ladite trajectoire (18), chaque rouleau mobile ayant un axe de rotation central qui est agencé transversalement par rapport à la direction de déplacement de la bande de film le long de ladite trajectoire et qui est parallèle à la surface du film le long de ladite trajectoire ;
    caractérisée en ce que le dispositif de stockage (17) comprend en outre :
    un support (23) qui supporte les rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) et qui est entraîné pour déplacer les rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) le long d'un arc autour d'un axe intermédiaire (24) qui est situé entre et parallèle aux rouleaux mobiles, afin de les déplacer d'une position de repos à une position de stockage, traversant à partir des directions opposées, ladite trajectoire (18) pour le passage de la bande de film à travers le dispositif de stockage afin de dévier la bande de film entre les rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) et accumuler la longueur du film dans le dispositif de stockage.
  2. Housseuse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le dispositif de stockage (17) comprend deux rouleaux fixes (30, 31) qui sont parallèles aux rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) et dans des positions opposées par rapport audit axe intermédiaire (24) et sur les côtés opposées de la bande de film le long de ladite trajectoire (18), afin de dévier en outre la bande de film entre les rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) autour de l'axe intermédiaire (24) pendant ledit mouvement en forme d'arc des rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) de la position de repos à la position de stockage.
  3. Housseuse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le support (23) pour les rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) comprend des bras de support rotatifs (25, 26) qui sont raccordés entre une ou les deux extrémités de chaque rouleau mobile et un arbre motorisé (27) qui est coaxial avec ledit axe intermédiaire (24).
  4. Housseuse selon la revendication 2, caractérisée en ce que les rouleaux fixes (30, 31) sont supportés par des bras de support (32, 33) raccordés entre une ou les deux extrémités de chaque rouleau fixe et un axe fixe (34) coaxial par rapport audit axe intermédiaire (24).
  5. Housseuse selon la revendication 3, caractérisée en ce que l'arbre motorisé (27) est raccordé à un actionneur (28) via un raccordement à courroie ou chaîne cinématique (29).
  6. Housseuse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que, en aval des rouleaux mobiles (21, 22), on trouve un dispositif motorisé (35) pour contrôler le déplacement de la bande de film à l'extérieur de la sortie (20) du dispositif de stockage.
  7. Housseuse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que, en amont des rouleaux mobiles (21, 22), il y a un dispositif (40) pour couper de manière transversale et souder facultativement la bande de film.
  8. Housseuse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que, lorsque les rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) sont dans la position de repos, ladite trajectoire (18) du film entre l'entrée (19) et la sortie (20) du dispositif de stockage, est verticale.
  9. Housseuse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la bande de film est une bande de film tubulaire ou une bande de film tubulaire est formée à partir de cette dernière et le dispositif de positionnement (16) comprend un bâti (16b) pour le montage depuis le dessus de la bande de film tubulaire sur l'emballage dans la zone d'emballage (14) pendant un déplacement du rouleau mobile (21, 22) de la position de stockage à la position de repos.
  10. Procédé pour emballer un emballage avec une longueur de film au moyen d'une machine (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant les étapes consistant à :
    fournir une longueur de film du magasin d'alimentation (11) à la sortie (20) du dispositif de stockage (17) ;
    maintenir l'extrémité avant de la longueur de film en aval du dispositif de stockage ;
    actionner le dispositif de stockage afin de déplacer les rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) de la position de repos à la position de stockage, tout en continuant de fournir la longueur de film du magasin d'alimentation (11) afin d'accumuler la longueur de film dans le dispositif de stockage (17) ;
    actionner un dispositif (40) pour couper transversalement la bande de film en amont des rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) afin de séparer la longueur accumulée de film ;
    actionner le dispositif de positionnement (16) afin de positionner la longueur de film sur l'emballage dans la zone d'emballage alors que les rouleaux mobiles (21, 22) reviennent de la position de stockage à la position de repos afin de libérer la longueur accumulée de film au dispositif de positionnement (16).
