Description

The invention relates to a wine storage cabinet with a cooled interior which comprises at least two compartments arranged one above the other and separated from one another by a partition. The invention also relates to a method for operating such a wine storage cabinet.

Two-zone as well as multi-zone wine storage cabinets are known in the art. In the case of inexpensive multi-zone devices, the interior temperature control was static, with the lower area of the device being cooled and the upper area of the device heated, if necessary. The temperatures could only be changed by the customer by about 3 ° C in both the lower and upper areas. More expensive multi-zone devices comprised two or more cooling circuits, which were implemented either by two or more compressors or by one compressor with a corresponding valve circuit. The documents US 2016/370091 A1 , EP 2 413 074 A1 , EP 1 852 665 A1 , WO 2007/006113 A1 , WO 2015/027885 A1 and CN 102 506 536 A reveal storage cabinets with refrigerated interiors.

The object of the invention is to provide an inexpensive and simple wine storage cabinet with two or more temperature zones, the setting options being improved compared to known inexpensive devices and temperature fluctuations in the interior being minimized.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a wine storage cabinet according to claim 1.

The wine storage cabinet can also have more than two compartments arranged one above the other, which are separated from one another by several dividing shelves. The heat pump is preferably a refrigerant circuit with a compressor, a condenser, a throttle and an evaporator. In this case, the cold heat exchanger of the interior is represented by the evaporator. Of course, variants with magnetocaloric cooling or thermoelectric cooling are also conceivable. In one embodiment it is provided that the cold heat exchanger is arranged in the lower compartment and preferably on the rear wall of the lower compartment, whereby it is preferably provided that the wine storage cabinet comprises only one cold heat exchanger arranged in the interior. In so far as the heat pump is a refrigerant circuit, only one evaporator arranged in the lower compartment can be provided. The wine storage cabinet can only comprise a refrigerant circuit with a compressor, a condenser and a throttle.

According to the invention it is provided that a first interior fan is provided in the first compartment, which is arranged such that air is guided over the cold heat exchanger during its operation, whereby it is preferably provided that the cold heat exchanger and preferably also the first interior fan are arranged in a cold air space which is formed behind a cold air wall, which is located in front of the rear wall of the interior at least in a partial area of the other compartment. The cold air space comprises a suction opening, which is preferably arranged above or in the upper region of the cold air wall, and a pressure opening which is preferably arranged below or in the lower region of the cold air wall. Correspondingly, a suction area formed in the vicinity of the suction opening is preferably in the rear upper section of the lower compartment and a discharge area for cold air formed in the vicinity of the pressure opening is preferably in the rear upper section of the lower compartment. The first interior fan is preferably arranged above the cold heat exchanger within the cold air space.

In one embodiment it is provided that the riser and the chute are arranged behind an intermediate wall, which is located in front of the rear wall of the interior at least in the area of the upper compartment, whereby it is preferably provided that the intermediate wall extends into the lower compartment and one behind the Dividing bottom arranged through opening defined between the compartments. The two shafts can be separated from one another by a vertical partition wall extending between the intermediate wall and the rear wall.

According to the invention, it is provided that the riser duct has an inlet opening through which air can escape from the riser duct into the upper compartment, whereby it is preferably provided that the inlet opening is arranged in the upper region of the second compartment. The inlet opening can be located in the partition. The second indoor fan can be inside the Be arranged riser shaft. For example, it can be provided that the second interior fan is arranged directly behind the inlet opening in the riser duct.

According to the invention it is provided that the chute has an outlet opening through which air can escape from the upper compartment into the chute, whereby it is preferably provided that the outlet opening is arranged in the lower region of the second compartment. The outlet opening can be located in the partition. The arrangement of the outlet opening in the lower region of the second compartment is preferred, wherein in an alternative embodiment an arrangement of the outlet opening in the middle or upper region of the second compartment can also be provided.

According to the invention, it is provided that an air flap is provided which is designed to reversibly close the outlet opening, preferably providing that the air flap is designed to be self-closing in such a way that it changes into the closed state under the action of gravity and from front to back into the false shaft is pivoted and thereby changes into an open state. The air flap is preferably designed in such a way that even a very small force is sufficient to open the air flap at least slightly. In particular, the small pressure difference that arises between the upper compartment and the fall duct when the second interior fan is in operation should already be sufficient to open the air cap at least slightly. As an alternative to the passive air flap described, an actively, for example electronically, magnetically or mechanically controlled air flap can also be used to close the outlet opening. This can possibly lead to an improved functionality, but at the same time increases the manufacturing costs, the energy requirement and possibly the maintenance requirement.

In one embodiment it is provided that the partition floor is accommodated in the interior in a height-adjustable manner. Thus, the user can adjust the installation height of the dividing shelf within a certain range, for example by placing the dividing shelf on different ribs of the inner container or by using a suitable height adjustment system. The relative volumes of the warmer upper compartment and the colder lower compartment can thus be changed by the user as required.

In one embodiment it is provided that the second interior fan and / or the first interior fan is a speed-controlled fan. A speed-controlled design of the two interior fans or at least one of the two interior fans enables a more precise coordination of the operation of the two fans and consequently a more precise cold air distribution between the two compartments.

Against the background mentioned at the beginning, the invention also relates to a method for operating a wine storage cabinet according to the invention, wherein the second interior fan is operated to cool air from the lower compartment through the riser into the upper compartment and from the upper compartment through the fall canal into the lower compartment to promote. Depending on the operation of the second and possibly also the first interior fan, different operating modes can be implemented in order to be able to set the temperature of the two compartments precisely. The indoor fans can be operated individually or together when the heat pump is in operation or when the heat pump is at a standstill, in order to achieve a desired overall cooling output or cold air distribution between the two compartments.

Further details and advantages of the invention emerge from the exemplary embodiment discussed below with reference to the figures. In the figures show:
  • Figure 1 : a schematic representation of a wine storage cabinet according to the invention from the side; and
  • Figure 2 : a schematic representation of the same wine storage cabinet from the front.

The wine storage cabinet according to the invention shown schematically in the figures comprises two cooled compartments 3 and 4, in which different target temperatures can be set. Namely, it is designed to set a lower temperature in the range of, for example, 5-12 ° C in the lower compartment 3, for example for storing white wines and sparkling wines, while in the upper compartment 4 a higher temperature in the range of, for example, 12-18 ° C is set can, for example, for storing red wines. The compartments 3 and 4 are separated from one another by means of a partition base 10, the assembly height of which can be adjusted by the user within a certain range by placing the partition base 10 on different ribs of the inner container.

The wine storage cabinet further comprises a refrigerant circuit which has a compressor 6, a condenser, a throttle and an evaporator 1. The compressor 6 is arranged in a machine room which is located at the rear in the base area of the wine storage cabinet. The condenser, not shown in detail in the figure, can be arranged in a typical embodiment on the rear wall of the wine storage cabinet. The throttle can be a capillary line. The evaporator 1 is arranged together with a first interior fan 2 in a first air guiding area, separated from the interior by a first partition, on the rear wall of the lower compartment 4. The first interior fan 2 is arranged in such a way that, during its operation, air can be sucked in from the interior, guided through the air guiding area and over the evaporator and then released to the first compartment 3.

In the area of the dividing base 10 there is a through opening at the rear of the wine storage cabinet through which air can flow from the lower compartment 4 into the upper compartment 3 and from the upper compartment 3 into the lower compartment 4. On the rear wall of the upper compartment 4 there is a second air guiding area, separated from the interior by a second partition, with two air guiding channels arranged next to one another and separated from one another by a partition 7, namely a rising channel 8 and a falling channel 9.

A second interior fan 11 and an inlet opening formed in the second partition are provided in the upper region of the riser duct 8. The second interior fan 11 is arranged such that, when it is operated, air can be sucked in from the lower compartment 4 through the passage opening and the riser channel 8 and then released through the inlet opening to the upper compartment 3. In this way, relatively cold air can be introduced from the lower compartment 4 from above into the upper compartment 3 in an energy-saving manner. This cold air can then slowly sink within the upper compartment 3, which leads to an overall relatively homogeneous temperature profile within this compartment 3.

In the lower area of the fall channel 9, an outlet opening 5 is provided which is formed in the second partition wall and is closed with an air flap. The air flap can be designed to be self-closing in such a way that it changes into the closed state due to the action of gravity, but is opened at least a little towards the rear even with a very low force. The small pressure difference that arises between the upper compartment 3 and the fall duct 9 when the second interior fan 11 is in operation is then sufficient to push the air cap at least slightly backwards. When the second interior fan 11 is in operation, not only is relatively cold air introduced into the second compartment 3 at the top, but also relatively warm air that has been in the upper compartment 3 for a long time is diverted from the bottom of the upper compartment 3. Namely, air from the lower region of the upper compartment 3 passes through the outlet opening 5 into the fall channel 9 and falls back through the passage opening into the lower compartment 4. The fall duct 9 opens into the intake area of the first interior fan 2. The air flap prevents cold air, which gradually collects in the lower area of the upper compartment 3 after a non-operating phase of the second interior fan 11, from escaping unintentionally from this compartment 3, i.e. no cold is lost in the upper compartment 3.

In addition, the flap prevents cold air from being pressed from the lower compartment 4 through the fall channel 9 into the upper compartment.

Generell kann aber die Temperatur des oberen Kompartiments 3 nie niedriger sein als die Temperatur des unteren Kompartiments 4.Depending on the operation of the indoor fans, several operating modes can be implemented in order to be able to set the temperature of the two compartments 3 and 4 precisely. If only the first indoor fan 2 is operated, then, provided that the compressor 6 is operated, the air in the lower compartment 4 is cooled, while the air temperature in the upper compartment is kept constant. If both indoor fans 2 and 11 are operated, on the one hand relatively cold air is conducted from the lower compartment 4 into the upper compartment 3 and relatively warm air is conducted from the upper compartment 3 into the lower compartment 4. On the other hand, assuming the compressor 6 is operated, the air coming from the upper compartment 3 into the lower compartment 4 as well as the air originally located in the lower compartment 4 are also cooled. If only the second indoor fan 11 is operated, relatively cold air from the lower compartment 4 enters the upper compartment 3 and relatively warm air from the upper compartment 3 enters the lower compartment 4. The lower compartment 4 is therefore heated and cooled of the upper compartment 3. In general, however, the temperature of the upper compartment 3 can never be lower than the temperature of the lower compartment 4.

The position of the outlet opening 5 in the second partition is selected so that a certain vertical adjustment of the dividing base 10 is possible without the outlet opening 5 leaving the area of the upper compartment 3. A certain variability in the volume distribution between compartments 3 and 4 is possible in order to enable the customer, for example, to have more volume available for the storage of red wines or for the storage of white wines.
