US 2 952 300 A1 discloses a stackable chair according to the preamble of claim 1 of the present application. The object of the invention is to further develop a stackable chair in such a way that simple but stable stacking of a plurality of chairs is ensured with as little effort as possible.

This object is achieved according to the invention in a chair of the type mentioned in the introduction that above the cross strut there is an obliquely downward and laterally outward insertion bevel on which the cross strut of the upper chair is at least partially displaceable downwards when stacked.

When two chairs are stacked on top of each other, the cross strut of the upper chair comes in contact with the lead-in chamfer of the lower chair and is then securely guided downward along the lead-in chamfer of the lower chair when the upper chair is lowered further. This ensures a defined system, so that a stable stack of chairs is created.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, it is provided that the insertion bevel is formed by a U-shaped element, the U-legs of which are directed obliquely downwards and laterally outwards in regions adjacent to the U-web parallel to the cross strut. As a result, the insertion bevel can be provided in a particularly simple, material-saving and visually unobtrusive manner.

In a preferred embodiment, however, it is provided that at least one downward spacer is provided on the other side part, which lies on the side part of the lower chair when stacked one above the other. The spacer is of course dimensioned such that the upper chair rests almost horizontally on the chair below it.

It is essential for the chair 1 that a cross strut 14 is arranged at least on the side part 3 as a stacking aid. This insertion bevel is preferably formed by a U-shaped element 15, the U legs 16, 17 of which, adjacent to the U-web 18 parallel to the cross strut 14, extend obliquely downwards and laterally outwards in regions.
