The device can therefore take two positions, a storage position in which the writing instruments are stored, and a presentation position in which the writing instruments are presented or displayed so as to facilitate the choice and the handling of the device. each of them.

It will be understood that the longitudinal direction is specific to each writing instrument while the axial direction is the direction defined by the axis of rotation around which the supports pivot and which is common to all the supports. When the writing instruments are arranged in the holders, all the writing instruments extend perpendicular to the axial direction or, in other words, the longitudinal direction of each of the writing instruments is perpendicular to the axial direction .

The brackets can rotate around the axial direction. In the storage position, the angle around the axial direction between any two supports among the set of supports is at most equal to 2 °. Thus, it is considered that in the storage position, the writing instruments are substantially arranged in the same plane. Thanks to this configuration, the space occupied by all the writing instruments is very small, which is advantageous for their storage.

In the presentation position, the angle around the axial direction between two adjacent supports, and this for all the supports of the plurality of supports, is greater than or equal to 5 °. This allows enough space to be left around each writing instrument carried by a stand so that the user can easily identify each writing instrument and can pick it up directly just as easily, without having to handle the other writing instruments. . Thus, in the presentation position, the supports are organized substantially in the general shape of a helicoid along the axial direction.

Note that to measure the angle between two supports, the geometric line of reference for each support is taken as the geometric line passing through the geometric center of the holding area of the writing instrument and through the point of rotation of said support. around the axial direction.

Thus, the storage and presentation device allows both optimized storage and ergonomic presentation of writing instruments.

For example, the writing instrument is a pen, a felt-tip pen, a pencil, a stylus for a touch screen, or any other device for writing or drawing.

The device is particularly well suited for storing and presenting writing instruments, for example a set of colored pencils or felt-tip pens, for example for children.

The holder being configured to cooperate with the cap of the writing instrument such that the effort required to remove the cap from the holder is greater than the effort required to remove the body of the writing instrument from the holder. cap, by taking the body of the writing instrument, the cap remains assembled with the holder, whereby the user avoids losing the cap. Such a configuration is particularly advantageous when the device fitted with colored writing instruments is used by children.

In certain embodiments, considered in the axial direction, the plurality of supports has a first support and a last support, the first support and the last support each having at least one lug, said lug extending in the axial direction towards the center. adjacent support, while all the other supports each have a pair of lugs, each lug of each pair of lugs extending in the axial direction away from the other lug of the pair of lugs, each lug of a support being configured to cooperate in abutment with a corresponding lug of the adjacent support, each lug being offset azimuthally with respect to the corresponding lug of the adjacent support in the storage position, the azimuthal direction being defined by the direction of rotation of the supports , so that the movement of a support by a predetermined angular stroke in a first direction of rotation couples said support with an adjacent support in the first direction of rotation. tation by the stop cooperation of the corresponding lugs.

It is understood that the supports are arranged successively in series along the axis. Thus, according to the axial direction, one can consider that there is a first support, a second support, ..., a penultimate support and a last support. The first and the last support have a lug oriented axially towards the adjacent support, namely respectively towards the second support and towards the penultimate support. The intermediate supports between the first support and the last support each have a pair of lugs. Each lug of each support cooperates in abutment with a corresponding lug of the adjacent support. Thus, the lug of the first support cooperates in abutment with a lug of the second support while the other lug of the second support cooperates in abutment with a lug of the third support, etc. Likewise, the penultimate support has a lug which cooperates in abutment with a lug of the penultimate (or antepenultimate) support and another lug which cooperates in abutment with the lug of the last support.

The corresponding lugs of each pair of adjacent supports being offset in the azimuthal direction, when the first support is rotated by a predetermined angular stroke, the lug of the first support abuts against a lug of the second support thus coupling in rotation the second support with the first support. When the first and the second support have again made a second predetermined angular travel, the second lug of the second support abuts against a lug of the third support thus coupling in rotation the third support in rotation with the first and the second support, etc.

Thus, by virtue of this configuration of lugs, by causing a single support, namely the first support, to pivot, all of the supports can be deployed in a helix. Of course, the angular distance between the two corresponding lugs may vary from one pair of adjacent supports to another, or else be identical for all the pairs of adjacent supports.

In some embodiments, the corresponding lugs of each pair of adjacent supports are angularly spaced at least 5 °.

This makes it possible to ensure that the angle between each adjacent support is indeed at least equal to 5 ° in the presentation position.

In certain embodiments, the angular spacing between the corresponding lugs of each pair of adjacent supports is identical for all the pairs of adjacent supports.

This makes it possible to obtain a balanced presentation of the writing instruments as well as a homogeneous distribution of the weight of the writing instruments within the device, whereby the stability of the device is improved.

In some embodiments, all the supports are identical, each support comprising a pair of lugs, each lug of each pair of lugs extending in the axial direction opposite to the other lug of the pair of lugs being offset relative to each other in the azimuthal direction.

By having all the supports identical, the assembly of the device is facilitated while the homogeneity of the presentation of the writing instruments in the presentation position is improved.

In some embodiments, all of the brackets are pivotally mounted on a common rod.

It will be understood that the axis of the rod forms the axis around which the supports pivot. Such a single rod and common to all the supports allows easy assembly of the device during its manufacture. Furthermore, the writing instruments being distributed in the form of a helix around this rod, the rod takes up the weight of all the writing instruments supported by the supports so that certain components of the weight are balanced, thanks to which the balance and stability of each of the supports, and therefore of the device as a whole, is improved.

In some embodiments, the storage and display device comprises two housing covers mounted to rotate with respect to each other about the axial direction, the housing being closed in the storage position while the housing is open in position. presentation position, at least one of the covers forming a base in the presentation position.

It is understood that the storage and presentation device comprises a box in which the supports are placed, this box comprising two covers. These two covers are hinged to one another in rotation about the axis of rotation of the supports. Thanks to this articulation, the box can take a closed position and an open position. When the case is closed, the device is in the storage position while when the case is open the device is in the presentation position. Furthermore, when the case is open the two covers are arranged such that at least one of them, or even the two bases, form (s) a base for the device, thus providing a certain stability when places the device on any support, such as a table, desk or the like.

In certain embodiments, the covers have knuckles, the common rod being engaged in the knuckles, the common rod cooperating by snap-fastening with two knuckles whereby the common rod is blocked in translation in the axial direction.

Within a hinge, a knuckle is a hollow portion forming a female part configured to receive a pin, formed in this example by the rod, the pin forming a male part. For example, an eyecup or a hollow cylindrical portion form knuckles.

The common rod also being subjected to the mechanical stresses induced via the covers, the balance of the assembly in the presentation position is improved.

Snap-fastening (or clipping) is a method of assembling two parts by engagement and elastic deformation (generally local deformation of only part of a part, for example of a tongue, or of a peripheral element of said part, or by deformation of all the parts involved in the assembly). When the two parts are engaged in the snap-in position, the parts have generally returned to their initial shape and no longer exhibit elastic deformation (or less elastic deformation). When the two parts are engaged with each other in the latching position, they cooperate with each other so as to oppose, or even block, the relative movements of said parts in the direction of release. (opposite sense to the sense of commitment). In the snap-in position, the two parts can also cooperate so as to oppose, or even block, their relative movements in the direction of the extension of the engagement, beyond the snap-in position. A snap-fit assembly has the advantage of being easy to implement and reliable.

For example, the two knuckles arranged at the ends of the rod in the axial direction each have a projecting internal relief, these knuckles possibly belonging to the same cover, or else each to a separate cover. The relief (s) of one of the knuckle blocks (s) the rod in translation in a first direction in the axial direction while the relief (s) of the other knuckle block (s) the rod in translation in a second direction opposite to the first direction in the axial direction. Thus, to assemble the device, all the hinges of the covers and the corresponding parts of the supports are aligned, the rod is inserted into a knuckle having a relief and the rod is fitted until it comes to an axial stop against the relief of the other knuckle equipped with relief. Of course the length of the rod is less than the axial distance between the reliefs of the two knuckles.

In certain embodiments, considered in the axial direction, the plurality of supports has a first support and a last support, a lug of the first support cooperating in abutment with one of the covers while a lug of the last support cooperates in abutment with the 'other cover, whereby the opening of the housing causes the supports to rotate around the axial direction.

It is therefore understood that when one cover is rotated relative to the other, the cover drives a rotating support, which allows the device to be automatically brought into the presentation position when the case is opened. It is understood that when the case is closed, the supports and / or the writing instruments come into abutment successively against the cover which is folded down, thanks to which the closing of the case automatically brings the device into the storage position.

In some embodiments, the hoods are equipped with complementary locking means for locking the hoods with one another in the storage position.

This makes it possible to ensure that the box remains closed including during transport of the device, thanks to which the storage position is secured.

In some embodiments, each holder forms a sleeve configured to receive and hold one end of a longitudinal manual writing instrument.

In this case, it is understood that each sleeve extends in a longitudinal direction corresponding to the longitudinal direction of the writing instrument carried by said support. Such a support structure is particularly well suited for effectively maintaining the writing instrument both in the storage position and in the presentation position.

For example, the axis of each sleeve passes through the point of rotation of the support around the axial direction and forms the geometric reference line for measuring the angle between the supports.

DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE D'EXEMPLES DE REALISATIONDETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXAMPLES OF IMPLEMENTATION

The figure 1 shows an embodiment of an assembly 100 comprising a storage and presentation device 10 for storing and presenting a plurality of longitudinal manual tools, in this example writing instruments, and more particularly felts 50. The device 10 comprises covers 26 and 28 forming a case 32. On the figure 1 , the device 10 is in the presentation position, all the supports 20 supporting a felt 50. It is noted that in this example, the covers 26 and 28 form a case 32 in the form of a case, but of course any other form of case is possible. . It is also noted that in the presentation position, the two covers 26 and 28 of the open case form a base for the device 10.

More particularly, in this example, the device 10 comprises a plurality of supports 20 mounted in rotation around a same axis X (ie a common axis of rotation for all the supports 20) perpendicular to the longitudinal directions L of the felts 50, all the supports 20 being identical. It is noted that in this example the covers 26 and 28 are also identical. The supports 20 are movable in rotation around the axis X in the azimuthal direction Z. In this example, the axial direction X, the longitudinal direction L and the azimuthal direction Z correspond respectively to the directions defined by the coast, the radius and l. angle in a cylindrical coordinate system.

The figures 5A and 5E represent the device 10 seen along the arrow V on the figure 1 (ie in the axial direction X) respectively in the storage and presentation position. As can be seen on the figure 5A , the angle between each of the supports 20 in the storage position is less than 2 °, in this example the angle being substantially equal to 0 ° (a single support being shown in broken lines, all the supports being masked by this support). By “substantially equal angle” is meant a margin of error of ± 0.5 °. With reference to the figure 5E , the angle between two adjacent supports 20, regardless of the support 20 considered, is greater than 5 °, in this example the angle β being substantially equal to 15 °. As can be seen on the figures 3A and 3B , the support 20 forms a sleeve 20a. The axis A of the sleeve 20a coincides with the axial direction L of each tool and intersects the axis of rotation X. Thus, in this example, the axis A of the sleeve 20a of each support 20 forms the geometric reference line for measuring. the angles between the different supports 20.

The figure 2 shows in more detail the structure of the device 10, where all the elements of the figure 1 are not shown for clarity. A rod 30 extends in the axial direction X and is common to all the supports 20 and to the covers 26 and 28. Thus, the supports 20 and the covers 26 and 28 are mounted in rotation on this common rod 30, around the 'X axis.

The covers 26 and 28 respectively have knuckles 26a and 28a each receiving the rod 30. It is noted that the knuckles have specific shapes to facilitate their manufacture by molding. The supports 20 each have an eyecup 20b each receiving the rod 30. In this example, each support 20 has a single eyecup 20b, but of course the supports may have several eyecups.

The knuckles 26aa and 28aa belonging respectively to the covers 26 and 28 and arranged at the axial ends of the rod when the device 10 is assembled each have an internal relief, in this example an internal annular projection 26aa1 and 28aa1, respectively. The rod 30 cooperates by snap-fastening with these projections 26aa1 and 28aa1 of the knuckles 26aa and 28aa, whereby the rod 30 is blocked in translation in the axial direction X.

Indeed, the rod 30 is a hollow rod capable of deforming. Thus, for the assembly of the device 10, the rod 30 is engaged in the knuckle 26aa or 28aa, the rod 30 deforming, and the rod 30 is fitted into all the other knuckles and eyelets 20b. When the rod 30 is completely "passed" through the knuckle 26aa or 28aa, then it emerges from the internal projection of said knuckle, returns to its initial shape, and cooperates axially in abutment on the one hand against the annular projection 26aa1 of the knuckle 26aa in a first direction in the axial direction X and on the other hand in abutment against the annular projection 28aa1 of the knuckle 28aa in a second direction in the axial direction X, opposite to the first direction.

Ainsi, chaque support 20 présente au moins autant d'ergots que de support(s) adjacent(s).We will now describe the cooperation of the supports 20 with one another. Each support 20 comprises a pair of lugs 20c1 and 20c2, these lugs extending in the axial direction X opposite to each other (i.e. in opposite directions in the axial direction X). In other words, each support 20 has a lug extending axially towards an adjacent support 20. Thus, each support 20 has at least as many lugs as there are adjacent support (s).

The figure 3A shows a support 20 seen along arrow IIIA of the figure 2 while the figure 3B represents the support 20 of the figure 3A seen according to arrow IIIB. As can be seen, the pins 20c1 and 20c2 are offset with respect to each other in the azimuthal direction Z. The pins 20c1 and 20c2 are offset in this example by an angle α equal to 15 °. Moreover, in this example, the lugs 20c1 and 20c2 are equidistant from the axis A, so that each lug is distant from the axis A by an angle α / 2 = 7.5 °. By adjusting the angle α, the angle β is directly adjusted between the supports 20 in the presentation position.

Each lug of each support is configured to cooperate in abutment with the corresponding lug of the adjacent support. Thus, each lug 20c1 of a support 20 is configured to cooperate in abutment with the lug 20c2 of the adjacent support, and vice versa. Thus, each support comprises a pair of lugs 20c1 and 20c2 while each lug 20c1 and 20c2 of each pair of lugs is configured to cooperate in abutment with the corresponding lug 20c2 and 20c1, respectively, of the adjacent supports 20.

It will be noted that in the storage position, the angle between all the supports 20 being substantially zero, the axes A of all the supports are arranged in parallel. Thus, it can be considered that in the storage position all the supports 20 are hidden by the support 20 shown in figure 3A , so that all the lugs 20c1 are aligned in the axial direction and all the lugs 20c2 are also aligned in the axial direction (ie perpendicular to the plane of the figure). It can be seen that in general, in the storage position, the lug 20c1 or 20c2 of a support is offset azimuthally with respect to the corresponding lug 20c2 or 20c1, respectively, of the adjacent support.

Returning to the figure 1 , considered in the axial direction X, the plurality of supports 20 has a first support 20, referenced 20-1, and a last support 20, referenced 20-N. In this example, there are twelve supports, so that N = 12, but of course, according to variants there may be more or less supports. It is also understood that the first / last support classification is completely arbitrary, the first support being able to be considered as the last and vice versa.

In this example, the supports 20-1 and 20-N being identical to all the other supports 20, each have a pair of lugs 20c1 and 20c2. Thus, only the lug 20c2 of the support 20-1 cooperates in abutment with a corresponding lug 20c1 of the adjacent support 20-2 (ie the second support of the plurality of supports 20) while only the lug 20c2 of the support 20-N cooperates with the corresponding lug 20c1 of the adjacent support 20- (N-1) (ie the penultimate support of the plurality of supports 20), given that the first and the last support each have only one adjacent support .

In this example, the covers 26 and 28 each have a projection 26b and 28b cooperating respectively in abutment with the lug 20c2 of the first support 20-1 and the lug 20c1 of the last support 20-N. In other words, the lug 20c2 of the first support 20-1 cooperates in abutment with the cover 26 while the lug 20c1 of the last support 20-N cooperates in abutment with the cover 28.

The figure 4 shows a sectional view along the sectional plane IV of the figure 1 . We see in this figure how the lugs of a support abut with the corresponding lugs of the adjacent supports, and how the lug 20c1 of the last support 20-N cooperates with the projection 28b of the cover 28. In general, it is noted that the lugs lugs cooperate in abutment in the azimuthal direction Z.

Of course, according to a variant, the first support 20-1 and the last support 20-N do not have the lug 20c2 and 20c1 respectively, so that they do not cooperate with the covers 26 and 28 respectively. In this case, the first and last supports 20-1 and 20-N are different from the other supports 20 and have only one lug oriented towards the adjacent support, namely the lug 20c1 for the first support 20-1 and the 20c2 lug for the last 20-N support.

Ainsi, lors de l'utilisation d'un instrument d'écriture 10, le capuchon 52 reste avec le support 20 ce qui réduit considérablement le risque de perte du capuchon 52.Moreover, as can be seen on the figure 3A , each support 20 has an internal annular rib 20d intended to cooperate by snap-fitting with the cap 52 of a writing instrument 50. Of course, such a cap 52 forms one end of the writing instrument 50. In this example , the rib 20d cooperates with the free edge 52a of the cap 52 delimiting the opening of the stopper 52 to introduce the body 54 of the writing instrument 50. The cap 52 also cooperates by snap-fastening with the body 54, for example thanks to gadroons not shown arranged on its inner surface. The gadroons and the rib 20d are dimensioned, in a manner known elsewhere to those skilled in the art, such that the force required to remove the cap 52 from the support 20 is greater than the force required to remove the body 54. of the cap 54. Thus, when using a writing instrument 10, the cap 52 remains with the holder 20 which considerably reduces the risk of loss of the cap 52.

On va maintenant décrire la cinématique du passage de la position de rangement à la position de présentation du dispositif 10 en référence aux figures 5A à 5E.We will now describe the kinematics of the passage from the storage position to the presentation position of the device 10 with reference to figures 5A to 5E .

In this position, the housing 32 is in the closed position, while the axis A of all the supports 20 is substantially arranged in the same plane of so that the angle between any supports 20 is substantially zero. Note that the covers 26 and 28 are equipped with additional locking means 26c1, 26c2 and 28c1, 28c2. In this example the means 26c1 and 28c1 are identical and cooperate respectively with the means 28c2 and 26c2 which are also identical (see figure 1 ). The means 26c1 and 28c1 comprise a pair of elastic tongues each equipped with a hook while the means 26c2 and 28c2 comprise a single tongue equipped with hooks on each of its opposite faces which cooperate by snap-fastening with the hooks of the means 26c1 and 28c1. Of course, any other form of complementary locking means can be envisaged. Thus, in the closed position, the box 32 is locked thanks to these complementary locking means 26c1, 26c2, 28c1 and 28c2. These means can be unlocked with the simple force of the hand, by pulling on the handles 26d and 28d of each of the covers 26 and 28.

To bring the device 10 from the storage position to the presentation position, the box 32 is opened. Thus, when the covers 26 and 28 have been unlocked from the closed position, and therefore the assembly 10 from the storage position. , the cover 28 is pivoted relative to the cover 26. When a predetermined angular travel has been reached, in this example 7.5 °, namely the angle between the lug 20c1 of the last support 20-N and the projection 28b of the cover 28 in the storage position, the projection 28b of the cover 28 abuts against the lug 20c1 of the last support 20-N and drives it in rotation. Thus, the cover 28 and the support 20-N are coupled in rotation in the direction of the opening of the cover 28 from the predetermined angular stroke of the cover 28.

Les figures 5B et 5C représentent ainsi des positions intermédiaires ou un certain nombre de supports 20 a été entraîné et déployé en hélice pendant l'ouverture du capot 28.By continuing the rotation of the cover 28, the last support 20-N drives the adjacent support 20- (N-1) after a predetermined angular travel, in this example of 15 °, namely the angle between the lugs 20c1 and 20c2 corresponding. Thus, the adjacent lugs are in abutment and the adjacent supports are coupled in rotation in the direction of the opening of the cover 28 from the predetermined angular travel between the adjacent supports. The figures 5B and 5C thus represent intermediate positions where a certain number of supports 20 have been driven and deployed in a helix during the opening of the cover 28.

The figure 5E represents the presentation position of the device 10 where the housing 32 is in the open position, all the supports 20 are deployed in the form of a helix, and all the lugs are pressed against each other while the lug 20c2 of the first support 20-1 rests against the projection 26b of the cover 26 and that the lug 20c1 of the last support 20-N bears against the projection 28b of the cover 28. This provides particularly reliable stability in the presentation position for this example. storage and presentation device.

Bien entendu, il est tout-à-fait possible d'amener le dispositif 10 de la position de rangement à la position de présentation en ouvrant le capot 26 au lieu du capot 28, et ce de manière strictement similaire, le déploiement des supports commençant par le premier support 20-1 au lieux du dernier support 20-N.Of course, it is quite possible to bring the device 10 from the storage position to the presentation position by opening the cover 26 instead of the cover 28, and this in a strictly similar manner, the deployment of the supports starting by the first support 20-1 instead of the last support 20-N.

We will now describe the kinematics of the passage from the presentation position to the storage position of the device 10 with reference to figures 6A to 6D . The figure 6A corresponds to the figure 5E , when the device 10 is in the presentation position, while the figure 6D corresponds to the figure 5A , when the device 10 is in the storage position.

To bring the device from the presentation position to the storage position, the case 32 is closed. Thus, one cover is folded towards the other. By folding down the cover 28, the lug 20c1 of the last support 20-N and the projection 28b no longer contact each other, while the support 20-N and / or the writing instrument 10 carried by the support 20-N between in contact with the cover 28 itself which thus drives the support 20-N and the writing instrument 10 towards the storage position, as shown in figure figure 6B . The figure shows an intermediate position where a certain number of supports / writing instruments are resting against the cover 28, and brought back by the cover 28 into the storage position.

Of course, it is quite possible to bring the device 10 from the presentation position to the storage position by folding the cover 26 instead of the cover 28, and this in a strictly similar manner, the folding of the supports starting by the first support 20-1 instead of the last support 20-N.

  4. Assembly (100) according to any of claims 1 to 3, wherein all the supports (20) are pivotally mounted on a common rod (30).
  5. Assembly (100) according to any of claims 1 to 4, wherein the storage and presentation device (10) comprises two covers (26, 28) forming a housing (32) which are mounted so as to rotate relative to one another about the axial direction (X), the housing (32) being closed in the storage position, while the housing (32) is open in the presentation position, at least one of the covers (26, 28) forming a stand in the presentation position.
  6. Assembly (100) according to claims 4 and 5, wherein the covers (26, 28) have knuckles (26a, 28a), the common rod (30) being engaged in the knuckles (26a, 28a), the common rod (30) cooperating by snap-fastening with two knuckles (26aa, 28aa), by means of which the common rod (30) is blocked in translation along the axial direction (X).
  7. Assembly (100) according to any of claims 2 to 6 and according to claim 5, wherein, considered along the axial direction (X), the plurality of supports (20) has a first support (20-1) and a last support (20-N), a lug (20c2) of the first support (20-1) cooperating in abutment with one of the covers (26), while a lug (20c1) of the last support (20-N) cooperates in abutment with the other cover (28), by means of which the opening of the housing (32) drives the supports (20) in rotation and the passage of the supports (20) from the storage position to the presentation position.
  8. Assembly (100) according to any of claims 5 to 7, wherein the covers (26, 28) are equipped with complementary locking means (26c1, 26c2, 28c1, 28c2) for locking the covers (26, 28) to one another in the storage position.
