Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shutter system for covering windows or doors in building openings, having at least two interconnected and movably mounted shutter elements, each of which has an outside and an inside opposite the outside, and a locking device which is arranged on the inside of at least one shutter element and has a bolt having.
  • Such shutter systems for covering windows or doors arranged in building openings are known. They are designed as folding shutters or folding sliding shutters, in which at least two shutter elements are pivotably connected to one another on their adjacent longitudinal sides by means of hinges.
  • a shutter element is connected on one side via further hinges, for example to clamps in the wall surrounding the building opening.
  • the individual shutter elements are also pivotally connected to one another by means of hinges.
  • the shop elements are also guided in the area of their corners via bolts or pins in rails that are permanently mounted on the top and optionally the bottom of the building opening or a window or door frame covering it. This arrangement allows the shutters to be slid relative to the building opening with the non-bolted sides of the shutters pivoting outwardly so that the shutters assume an accordion-like configuration.
  • Such shutter systems generally have locking devices that allow the shutter system to be locked in a closed or open position.
  • sliding bolts are preferably used, which can be displaced in a predetermined direction and which interact with a locking plate.
  • Such locking devices are usually to be operated from the inside of a building since they are arranged on the inside of the shop system. This can have aesthetic aspects on the one hand and security aspects on the other, such as increased burglary protection in particular. To do this, it is necessary to open a door or window on the inside of the shop system in order to reach the locking device for manual operation.
  • U.S. 2010/007 157 A1 discloses a latch assembly for latching one or more bi-fold doors in a frame, including a bracket for pivotally securing the latch assembly in a selected position relative to the doors and frame.
  • the latch assembly is located on the upper side surface of the door and includes a stepped bar having an intermediate portion pivotally mounted in the bracket, a latch leg extending outwardly from the bracket perpendicular to the intermediate portion, and a handle leg extending from of the bracket extends outwardly perpendicular to the intermediate portion spaced from the latch leg, thereby causing pivotal actuation of the handle leg so that the latch leg latches or unlatches the door in the frame.
  • DE 43 03 096 A1 discloses a central lock for a folding door with at least two pairs of wing doors, the two wings of which are pivotally connected to one another and are held in a guide rail so that they can be moved via a fitting.
  • a bolt carrier is between two end positions - adjustable - open position and closed position. It is provided with at least one first locking element for each pair of wings. In the closed position, these are positively engaged with a second locking element.
  • An actuating handle in the form of a cylinder lock or a rotary handle and an actuating element that can be acted upon by it adjust the bolt carrier with the first bolt elements to one of its two end positions. This locks or unlocks all wing door pairs at the same time.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of creating a shop system of the type mentioned at the outset, in which unlocking or locking is possible in a simple manner even if the shop system is not accessible from the inside of the building.
  • the actuating device has a cranked rod as the actuating element, which is guided through a slot-shaped opening in the shutter element from the outside of the shutter element to its inside.
  • the actuating device has an actuating element which is arranged on the outside of the shutter element. It is guided from the outside of the at least one shutter element, in particular via an opening in the shutter element, to the inside thereof, where it is connected to the movable bolt.
  • the inside of the shop system according to the invention or the shop elements generally faces the inside of the building when installed. Furthermore, the inside of the shop system or shop elements is not accessible, particularly when the building opening is closed, since the inside of the building opening is closed off with fixed glazing, for example, and access to the shop system is blocked.
  • a shop element usually has a rectangular frame with longitudinal bars and transverse bars, which are connected to one another in the usual way.
  • the at least two shutter elements are pivotably connected to one another, for example by hinges.
  • Aluminum hollow profiles are preferably used as the material for the shutter elements and in particular for the longitudinal and transverse bars of the frame.
  • any other metals or other materials, such as plastics or wood, can be used in the embodiment of the invention.
  • the corner connection is usually designed as a miter, whereas wooden frames are butt-jointed.
  • the inside of the frame is usually provided with slats, grids or flat elements.
  • the locking system is designed with a sliding latch which can be moved along a predetermined direction from a locking position to an unlocking position and back. In the locking position, the slide bolt engages in a striker plate, for example.
  • a sliding latch As a special type of slide bolt, we consider a latch as it is often used on doors.
  • the bolt of the locking device can also be designed as a pawl, which is mounted rotatably about an axis and can be brought from a locking position into an unlocking position by turning.
  • the locking device is preferably arranged on a longitudinal beam. Depending on the height or width of the shutter elements, several locking devices can also be attached to one shutter element. In one embodiment, a locking device is ever on upper end and one arranged at the lower end of the shop element. The two locking devices can preferably be unlocked via an actuating device.
  • the actuating device has a cranked rod as the actuating element, which is guided through a slot-shaped opening in the shutter element from the outside of the shutter element to its inside.
  • the cranked rod has a handle in the form of a widening or a ring at its free end.
  • the bolt can be held in the closed position by means of a spring element, for example a spiral or torsion spring, in which it is in engagement with a striking plate or some other blocking device. Bores or depressions, for example, are regarded as other blocking devices.
  • the blocking can be released by pulling on the bolt and after the end of the pull, the blocking position is assumed again automatically. It is understood that unlocking is not required throughout the process of moving the store system.
  • the actuating device can have a cable that is guided from the inside of the shutter element through an opening in the shutter element or through a gap between the slats on its outside.
  • the actuating cable is preferably guided over rollers or sliding elements arranged on the spar, such as plain bearings or casings, in order to prevent or at least minimize wear.
  • a cable pull for opening can also be designed in the manner of a Bowden cable.
  • the locking system and/or the actuating device can be designed in such a way that they can be locked in the locking position or the unlocked position and, more preferably, are also protected against unauthorized activation.
  • the position can be fixed using a locking device such as a lock, so that despite the accessibility from the outside, burglary protection or protection against unauthorized opening is provided.
  • the shutter system is designed as a folding sliding shutter whose at least two shutter elements are movably mounted in at least one rail. It is particularly preferred here that one rail each is arranged on the upper side and on the lower side of the shutter elements.
  • the guide bolts mounted on the upper edge of the shutter elements are preferably mounted in the rail by means of rollers or slides, the mounting allowing the bolts to pivot about their longitudinal axis.
  • the storage on the top rail must of course be suitable to support the weight of the drawer system. Such storage is also possible on a lower rail, in which case rollers are not absolutely necessary. It is sufficient if the bolt slides in a slot in the rail.
  • the bolt can be brought into a locking position in which it engages in the rail or engages behind it.
  • the rail serves as a locking device for the bolt. This eliminates the need for additional components.
  • the shutter system can also be designed as a folding shutter, the at least two shutter elements of which are pivotably mounted both to one another and relative to the building opening.
  • a folding shutter no rail is required, so that the bolt according to the invention is brought into engagement with a locking device arranged in the building opening or in the frame of a glazing covering it.
  • a cross section through a building opening 2 with a shop system 1 according to the invention is shown in a schematic view.
  • the following description assumes that the shutter system 1 is designed as a folding sliding shutter. However, the invention is equally applicable to a folding shutter system or a sliding shutter.
  • the building opening 2 shown is, by way of example, a window opening in the outer wall 3 of a building.
  • the window opening is closed with a window 9 in a fixed glazing, in which a frame 4 with double glazing consisting of two Glass panes 5 is anchored in the wall 3 within the opening 2 in the building.
  • the window 9 can therefore not be opened or moved. However, it can consist of several window elements arranged next to one another, which are separated by frame parts.
  • shop elements 6 are pivotably connected to one another via hinges.
  • FIGS 2 and 3 Such a shop element 6 is generally designed as a flat panel, as shown in FIGS 2 and 3 is shown.
  • the shop element 6 has an outer side 7 which lies on the outer side of the building opening 2 and thus faces away from the window 9 .
  • the inside 8 of the shutter element 6 faces the window 9 and is adjacent to it.
  • the shutter element 6 is displaceably guided in rails 10, 11 which are fastened to the outer wall 3.
  • the storage of the shutter element 6 in the rails 10, 11 is such that the shutter element 6 can be pivoted about pins or bolts 12.
  • the pins or bolts 12 engage in a slot in the rails 10, 11 and can also be mounted in the rails 10, 11 via rollers 13.
  • a storage of the shutter element 6 by means of rollers 13 or slides in the upper rail 10 is necessary in order to keep the shutter element 6 in suspension and to prevent its lower edge from sitting on the lower rail 11 .
  • the shutter system 1 is provided with a locking device 14 on at least one shutter element 6 .
  • the locking device 14 has a sliding bolt 15 that can be moved in a predetermined locking direction, here upwards, i.e. towards the top of the building opening 2, and which can be engaged with a locking device 16 arranged, for example, in a region of the upper rail 10.
  • the locking can also take place in that the sliding bolt 15 comes into clamping contact with a region of the rail 10 or reaches behind it.
  • Slide bar 15 is to be pushed down to open and up to close.
  • top and “bottom” are to be understood in such a way that “top” is defined by the direction at the top in the installed position of the shop system.
  • the slide bar 15 is arranged on the inside 8 of the shutter element 6 . It is therefore not operable from the inside of the building since the window 9 cannot be opened because of the fixed glazing of the building opening 2 .
  • an offset rod 17 engages, one leg of which is guided through an opening 18 onto the outside 8 of the shutter element 6.
  • the breakthrough 18 is preferably in the form of a longitudinal slot in the direction of Movement of the slide bolt 15 extends.
  • the lower end of the cranked rod 17 lying on the outside 8 of the shutter element 6 is provided with a pull ring 19 in an exemplary manner, which facilitates the handling of the locking device 14 .
  • the locking device 14 it is possible to block or unlock a folding shutter or a folding sliding shutter, which has a locking mechanism that is not accessible or operable from the inside, from the outside of the building opening 2 and thereby enable it to be opened or closed.
  • the slide bolt 15 is moved via a train or push on the cranked rod 17 and brought into the desired position.
  • the cranked rod 17 is slidably guided in an exemplary manner in guide elements 20 which can be arranged on the inside 8 and/or the outside 7 of the shutter element 6 . In 1 both options are shown. On such guide elements could also be, in 1 attack not shown compression spring, which biases the sliding latch 15 in the closed position.
  • guide elements 20 can be arranged on the inside 8 and/or the outside 7 of the shutter element 6 .
  • both options are shown.
  • On such guide elements could also be, in 1 attack not shown compression spring, which biases the sliding latch 15 in the closed position.
  • the 2 shows the outside of a shutter element 6 according to the invention.
  • the shutter element 6 has a rectangular frame 21 which is formed by two longitudinal bars 22 and two transverse bars 23 .
  • the interior of the frame 21 is provided with a large number of slats 24 here, for example.
  • the frame 21 can be solid, for example made of wooden profiles, or made of metal or plastic profiles. Aluminum profiles are particularly preferred for this purpose. The same applies to the material of the lamellae 24, for which aluminum is also a preferred material.
  • a part of the locking device 14 is arranged on a longitudinal beam 22 . This part has the cranked rod 17 with the pull ring 19 which dips into the opening 18 of the longitudinal beam 22 via a guide element 20 .
  • the rectangular opening 18 is surrounded by a tab 26 which is fastened to the longitudinal beam 22 by means of rivets 27 . This tab 26 serves, among other things, to protect and fix the opening 18 in the longitudinal beam 22.
  • the 3 shows the inside of a shutter element 6 according to FIG 2 .
  • the cranked rod 17 emerges here from the opening 18 in the longitudinal beam 22 and is connected to an extension rod 28 in an adapter sleeve 29 .
  • the extension rod 28 acts on one end of the sliding bolt 15, which is mounted in a guide 25 so that it can be displaced longitudinally.
  • FIG. 4 a detailed view of a longitudinal section through a longitudinal beam 22 of a shutter element 6 according to the invention is shown. is shown in 4 the area of the longitudinal beam 22 in which the opening 18 is arranged.
  • the longitudinal beam 22 is designed here, for example, as an aluminum hollow profile, of which two opposite sides can be seen in this sectional view.
  • the right-hand side of the hollow profile shown forms the outer side 7 and the left-hand side the inner side 8 of the shutter element 6.
  • the bent rod 17 is designed in several parts, with one part having the actual bend and the pull ring 19. This part 17 is guided through the opening 18 in the longitudinal beam 22 and is firmly connected to an extension rod 28 on the inside 8 of the shutter element 6 via an adapter sleeve 29 .
  • the extension rod 28 is used to adapt the length of the cranked rod 17 to different dimensions of the shutter element 6 or from different mounting positions of the cranked rod 17 on the shutter element 6. In addition, this simplifies the assembly of the cranked rod 17.
  • the extension rod 28 is always to be seen as an integral part of the cranked rod 17, which, in the sense of the invention, can be designed in one piece or in several pieces.
  • the opening 18 is defined by the two tabs 26, which are shown here offset in height to each other. It goes without saying that the longitudinal beam 22 must also be perforated in the corresponding areas.
  • the tabs 26 can be designed in such a way that they close the interior of the hollow profile and thus prevent dirt from entering the interior of the hollow profile.
  • the tabs 26 are fixed to the longitudinal beam 22 by means of rivets 27 .
