Definitions
- the invention relates to a medical bed of the type comprising a frame at least formed by two parallel longitudinal members secured to a frame equipped with means for adjusting the height of said frame, said frame comprising two sets extending symmetrically under said frame, each assembly comprising at least a first arm whose first end is rotatably mounted relative to the frame on a first axis parallel to the plane formed by the frame and perpendicular to the longitudinal members, said first axis being mounted movable in translation on the frame along the a spar, while a second end is rotatably mounted on a rolling base around a second axis parallel to the first axis, each assembly further comprising at least a second arm, a first end of which is rotatably mounted relative to the frame on a third axis parallel to the first axis while a second end is rotated relative to the first arm on a fourth axis parallel to the first axis.
- Medical beds are used in hospitals and typically include structural means to configure them according to the specific needs of a patient or medical personnel. They also aim to meet the needs of people who are sick, elderly with a loss of autonomy or who have a disability and / or whose state of health requires long periods of bed rest in their homes or in specialized reception centers. Such beds are in principle designed to facilitate the tasks of caregivers by reducing the physical effort they are likely to provide during the rising and the bedtime of the patient. Preferably, they must also reduce the risk of mishandling and falls.
- a medical bed generally comprises means for varying the height of the bedding, to raise or lower in part at least a portion of the bed base and, if necessary moving means such as one or associated trolleys or integrated, to move them between different potential areas of use.
- This type of bed is either purchased or rented and must be able to be mounted, dismantled, moved and stored easily. Due to the different functionalities associated with the medical beds, these can be very bulky and very heavy, and therefore difficult to move. Their assembly and disassembly can be complex, require special tools and take a lot of time, or even require the intervention of several operators. In addition, their storage can take up a lot of space. To address this issue, removable medical beds have been developed and are available on the market. It is known in particular from the publication EP 2583653 a medical bed whose removable transport carriage is partially retractable.
- Another medical bed known from document FR 2 769 832, comprises means for moving the two subassemblies forming its rolling base between a position of use and a transport position of the bed, in which they are respectively distant and close together of the bed frame.
- an object of the invention is to provide a medical bed that is easy and quick to disassemble and reassemble without tools, to optimize the tasks of the installer and improve its working conditions.
- another object of the invention is still to provide a medical bed whose transport can be performed depending on the situation, either in the form of a compact assembly with integrated transport trolley, or in several parts separated handled individually.
- the first solution makes it possible to discharge the installer of a risk of forgetting or loss of elements specific to the means of transport of the bed, while the second solution allows the bed to move, if necessary by one person, in confined environments.
- the invention further aims to provide a medical bed having a particularly compact structure in the storage position so as to minimize its bulk when stored.
- the present invention intends to provide the technical means for transforming with a minimum of structural means, in a minimum of operations, in a secure and reliable manner, a medical bed mounted in a compact, mobile, self-supporting assembly. carrying, transportable and storable, and vice versa.
- the invention relates to a medical bed of the type indicated in the preamble, characterized in that it comprises means for translational movement of each assembly of the frame relative to said frame between at least one retracted position and a deployed position of said rolling base.
- Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a medical bed according to the invention in the high sleeping position, ready for use
- Figures 2 to 7 illustrate schematic side views of the bed of Figure 1 during the various stages of its transformation for transport and / or storage;
- the medical bed 1 conventionally comprises a frame 2 secured to a frame 3, which rests on the ground 100 via two rolling bases 4 , each equipped with rollers 40.
- the rolling bases 4 serve to move the medical bed 1 on a flat surface for a short distance, for example to take a patient from one place to another in a hospital.
- the frame 2 consists of two longitudinal members 20 each formed by two sections 20a, 20b nested one inside the other.
- the frame 2 comprises in fact two half-frames 2a, 2b each formed by a pair of sections of spars 20a or 20b.
- the frame 2 is intended to receive a bed base 5 made in two parts 5a, 5b each extending on one of the half-frames 2a or 2b.
- the bed base 5 allows the installation of a medical mattress (not shown) ensuring hygiene and comfort to the user.
- One of the two parts 5a of the bed 5 comprises a backrest 50, while the other part 5b has a leg rest 51 whose inclination is adjustable.
- the medical bed 1 according to the invention is further completed by a headboard 9a and a footboard 9b removable, and each defined by a panel, of a material suitable for a medical environment, integral with one end of the bed medicalized 1.
- the frame 3 is adapted to adopt a low position (see Fig. 3) in which it is folded against the bed frame 2, and a high position of use (see Fig. 1), in which the bed base 5s extends to a certain height above the ground 100.
- the frame 3 also comprises, in a conventional manner, a system for adjusting the height of the medical bed 1 actuated by jacks 6.
- the frame 3 Furthermore, it is movable in translation on the bed frame 2 and can thus be moved, once placed in its lower position, between a retracted position (see Figs 1 to 3), in which it extends in its entirety. under the bed frame 2, and an extended transport position (see Figs 4 and 5) in which the rolling bases 4 out of the congestion of the medical bed 1.
- the chassis 3 comprises, in a conventional manner, two assemblies 3a, 3b each equipped with a rolling base 4 and connected to the bed frame 2, symmetrically with respect to a plane parallel to the panels forming the head and the footboard 9a, 9b and extending between the two parts 5a, 5b of the bed 5.
- the medical bed 1 comprises a first and a second modules la, lb connected together by securing means (not shown) and which can be separated from each other. other after unlocking these means.
- the first module comprises the part 5a of the bed base 5, the two spar sections 20a of the half-frame 2a, the headboard 9a, the assembly 3a of the chassis 3 equipped with a rolling base 4.
- the second module lb comprises the part 5b of the bed frame 5, the half-frame 2b, the footboard 9b, and the assembly 3b of the chassis 3 equipped with a rolling base 4.
- the two sets 3a, 3b of the frame 3 are identical.
- each comprise conventionally two first parallel arms 7, a first end 71 is pivotally connected to the bed frame 2, about a first axis XI, parallel to the plane of the frame 2 and perpendicular to the longitudinal members 20 of the frame 2.
- the axis XI is slidably mounted inside a first rail 8, integral with a spar portion 20a, 20b of the frame 2. It is therefore movable in translation along said spar portion 20a, 20b according to a some stroke in a Fl direction or in a reverse direction F2 (see Fig. 2).
- the opposite second end 73 of each arm 7 is rotatably mounted on a bearing base 4 about a second axis X2 parallel to the first axis XI.
- Each assembly 3a, 3b further comprises two second parallel arms 10, a first end 101 of which is rotatably mounted about a third axis X3, parallel to the first axis XI, on a half-frame 2a, 2b, while a second end 103 is rotatably mounted about a fourth axis X4 on a first arm 7.
- each assembly 3a, 3b can occupy the high position of use of the medical bed 1 illustrated in Figures 1 and 2 and the lower position illustrated in Figure 3.
- Each set 3a, 3b is brought to one of these positions by means of jacks 6 acting on the first 7 and second arm 10 and which also allow adjustment of the height of the frame 2 of the medical bed 1 relative to the ground 100.
- the medical bed 1 further comprises translational displacement means of each set 3a, 3b of the frame 3 respectively relative to a half-frame 2a, 2b for maintaining the rolling bases 4 in a position retracted, in which they are held under the frame 2 (Fig. 1, 2, 3) or to bring the rolling bases 4 to an extended position in which they emerge from the bulk of the medical bed 1 (Fig. 4, 5 ).
- each third axis X3 associated with a set 3a, 3b is slidably mounted in a second rail 11 secured to a spar portion 20a, 20b.
- the second rail 11 allows displacement in translation, according to a certain stroke of the second arm 10, in a direction F3 or in a reverse direction F4 (see Fig. 3).
- the medical bed 1 also comprises control means which control the passage of the frame 3 from the retracted position of the rolling bases 4 to their deployed position and vice versa.
- control means allow the displacement of the frame 3 in a simple and easy way by a user working alone and without the aid of specific tools.
- each axis X3 is coupled, by means of a connecting rod 12 and a connecting member 13, to one of the panels defining a headboard 9a or a foot of bed 9b.
- Each of these panels 9a, 9b is pivotally mounted by means of two connecting members 13 with respect to a half-frame 2a, 2b around a fifth axis X5, parallel to the first axis XI between a position of use of the medical bed 1 in which the panel 9a, 9b is perpendicular to the plane defined by the frame 2 (Fig. 1-3) and a position of storage in which it is folded against the frame 2 ( Figure 4-7).
- Each connecting member 13, connected to a headboard 9a or footboard 9b, is also rotatably mounted about a sixth axis X6, parallel to the first axis XI, on one end 122 of the connecting rod 12 of which another end 121 is rotatably mounted on the third axis X3.
- each connecting member 13 further comprises an indexing system for obtaining a locking in position of the frame 3 in the retracted position or transport of the rolling bases 4 and thus ensure the safety of the patient and medical personnel , or the carrier.
- an indexing system for obtaining a locking in position of the frame 3 in the retracted position or transport of the rolling bases 4 and thus ensure the safety of the patient and medical personnel , or the carrier.
- a first phase of the transformation of a medical bed 1 according to the invention making it possible to change it from its state of use (see Figs 1 and 2) to its state transport and storage ( Figure 7) is to bring the frame 3 against the bed frame 2, down the frame 2 to its lowest possible position (see Fig. 3), corresponding to the storage position mentioned above. above, in which the entire frame 3 is also located in the space of the hospital bed 1 (retracted position of the rolling bases 4). This is done by means of height adjustment means of conventional type that includes the frame 3, implementing the cylinders 6.
- the headboard 9a and the footboard 9b are each connected to two connecting members 13, the pivoting thereof around the axis X5 causes that of each rod 12 around the sixth axis X6.
- the movement of each rod 12 thus obtained is transmitted to the axis X3 which then slides in a rail 11 in the direction illustrated by the arrow F4.
- each subassembly 3a, 3b of the frame 3 It then rotates the first arms 7 of each subassembly 3a, 3b of the frame 3 around the second axes of rotation X2 (arrows F6) to place each half-bed frame, consisting respectively of two sections 20a and two sections. 20b of spar 20, in a substantially vertical position above a rolling base 4 (see FIG 6).
- the two modules 1a, 1b thus positioned can then be transported and / or stored as such, independently of one another or combined to obtain a compact and transportable assembly as illustrated in FIG. 7.
- the medical bed 1 has moved from a position of use, in which it can play its role of bed for a patient, to a position in which it plays the role of a transport carriage to move it by means of
- the latter thus advantageously serve both as a means of moving the medical bed 1 over short distances and as flat surfaces and means of transporting the bed during a possible move involving its handling in the bed. corridors, walkways, elevators, etc.
- each module 1a, 1b can be transported in pieces, each assembly 3a, 3b can be detached, easily and without the aid of tools, the bed half-frame corresponding 2a, 2b, and respective head or foot bed 9a, 9b.
- the medical bed 1 can also, if necessary, be moved and / or stored in the form of separate subassemblies (not shown) masses and acceptable volumes porting and handling a single person. It goes without saying, furthermore, that the operations opposite to those described above make it possible to reposition the medical bed 1 according to the invention in its position of use illustrated in FIG.
- the medical bed 1 meets the objectives set in the introductory part. It is particularly suitable for rental, which involves frequent assembly / disassembly operations, and preferably involves easy transport and storage. These operations are greatly facilitated thanks to the structure of the medical bed 1 which has just been described which also allows to make substantial savings in labor and storage space.
