  • this advantage makes it possible for a device according to the invention to comply with the regulations that specify that an elevator car shall stop within a space not exceeding 1,2 meters from the level of the floor at which the uncontrolled movement of the elevator car has been detected.
  • a further advantage of the device according to the invention is in that it operates directly onto the safety brake without requiring the presence of movement detection systems or devices and, consequently, it is fully independent of the elevator control panel.

Claims (8)

  1. Dispositif de sécurité (10, 10') permettant d'arrêter un mouvement incontrôlé loin d'une cabine d'ascenseur, comprenant, dans un dispositif, un moyen d'actionnement (12) et un frein de sécurité (13) de type bidirectionnel reliés l'un à l'autre et pouvant être fixés à la structure d'un châssis de cabine d'ascenseur, la connexion entre ledit moyen d'actionnement (12) et ledit frein de sécurité (13) se faisant au moyen d'une connexion (30) qui comprend une plaque de contact (31) et une autre plaque de contact (31') parallèles l'une à l'autre et un élément d'absorption des chocs pour ladite plaque de contact (31) et ladite autre plaque de contact (31'), caractérisé en ce que les moyens d'actionnement (12) comprennent un moyen de guidage (16) comprenant un tube métallique (16') à l'intérieur duquel est disposé une glissière ou une broche (22) dont une extrémité (22') fait saillie par rapport au tube (16') sur une longueur et comprenant une paire de microinterrupteurs (28, 29) appropriés pour détecter la position de la glissière ou de la broche (22) dans les première et seconde positions, ledit tube métallique (16') comprenant, en correspondance avec une extrémité opposée à celle à partir de laquelle l'extrémité (22') de la glissière ou de la broche (22) fait saillie, un manchon coaxial (24) destiné à se connecter à un moyen comprenant un actionneur électrique (26) adapté pour déplacer la glissière ou la broche (22) entre une première position dans laquelle la glissière ou la broche (22) est rétractée par rapport au tube métallique (16') et une deuxième position dans laquelle la glissière ou la broche (22) est dans une position étendue par rapport à l'élément tubulaire (16'), le dispositif de sécurité comprenant en outre une plaque métallique (40) pouvant être fixée à un guide ou montant (15) ou à une paroi d'un puits à l'intérieur duquel la cabine d'ascenseur se déplace et ladite plaque métallique (40) comprenant une ouverture traversante (41) de type fendu pour recevoir tout arrêt imprécis ou mouvement de remise à niveau, ladite ouverture étant appropriée pour être engagée par l'extrémité (22') de la broche ou de la glissière (22) chaque fois que ladite broche ou glissière est dans la deuxième position, la partie d'extrémité (22') de la broche ou de la glissière étant étendue par rapport au tube (16').
  2. Dispositif de sécurité selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il peut être fixé au châssis de la cabine d'ascenseur en correspondance avec la partie supérieure ou la partie inférieure du châssis de la cabine d'ascenseur.
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'il peut être fixé au châssis de la cabine d'ascenseur au moyen de blocs ou de supports de fixation (14).
  4. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que, l'actionneur électrique (26) est un actionneur électromagnétique.
  5. Dispositif selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que le moyen de guidage (16) est fixé à l'un des blocs ou supports de fixation (14) au moyen d'un élément de support (18), ledit moyen de guidage (16) étant relié à l'élément de support (18) au moyen d'une charnière (20) présentant un axe de rotation horizontal approprié pour permettre audit moyen de guidage (16) d'osciller dans un plan vertical.
  6. Dispositif selon les revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que le frein de sécurité (13) est fixé à l'un des blocs ou supports de fixation (14) et comprend un corps (13'), des leviers d'actionnement opposés et parallèles (13") fixés aux deux blocs ou supports de fixation (14), et un arbre de synchronisation (13"').
  7. Dispositif selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que l'autre plaque de contact (31') est fixée à l'un des leviers (13") par des vis (31") ou des éléments de rétention équivalents.
  8. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'élément d'absorption des chocs comprend un premier élément élastique (32), un deuxième élément élastique (32') et une broche de connexion (32"), le premier élément élastique (32) étant disposé entre la plaque de contact (31) et l'autre plaque de contact (31'), et le deuxième élément élastique (32') étant disposé de façon à être en contact avec l'autre plaque de contact (31') sur un côté opposé par rapport à la plaque de contact (31), la broche de connexion (32") étant insérée de manière coaxiale auxdits premier et deuxième éléments élastiques de manière à les maintenir alignés.
